Creation Station

What a fabulous fabric, quilting and knitting store. Just amazing. The owner has put together some really imaginative kits for all ages and levels, and her family, who all seem to be employed there, are charming and helpful. We had a lot of fun looking around and shopping. A great stop on our trip!

The people here are amazing. My husband went in looking for a referral to a place where he could get some zippers replaced on some couch cushion covers and the next thing he knew he was helping to remove the old zippers and they replaced them while he waited. Providing sewing services for hire is not something they normally do, but it did not stop them. Paula did a fantastic job! Christine and Dawn were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. You just don’t find service like this anymore.

The Creation Station Fabric and Quilt Shop is a must stop for everyone. This is an AMAZING place that goes WAY beyond a fabric store and is a must see. The quilts are displayed among antique beds, cribs, and furniture. There are ladders hanging from the ceiling, and there is a huge collections of sprinklers. The walls are fashioned after country rooms with antique appliances that belong to grandma! Sometimes there is a line for the bathroom, because people have to see it! It has hanging wisteria, and hand painted poetry!

This shop is awesome, as are all the people who work here. The owners are really passionate about their work, and it shows.
They have pretty much everything you need in this giant shop, and they will help you find it fast too. I love that its just minutes away so I don’t have to drive to Santa Maria for fabrics, or supplies.
I don’t quilt but if I did, I would spend a lot more time here, it is really geared towards quilters. I do however craft in all other ways and I find everything I need in the store. Embroidery supplies, sewing supplies (I make a lot of baby items), felts, even some knitting and crocheting, but not much in the way of yarns. They have top quality cottons and fabrics, with really cute and modern patterns. My favorite thing about the shop is that they have a lot of unique examples of crafts so you can really be inspired. Pretty good prices too.
