I usually come here for the boba, boba isn’t too bad. I recently tried their cheeseburger. Man, what a mistake. Bland, no seasoning. They out some sort of secret sauce, please stop using that. Burger is awkward and should be done properly.

Good service, I don’t know about other people but i like that its a combination of restaurants and it is a small market yet is is very clean and modern looking. I ordered a chicken bowl but it was served on a regular plate with nice presentation and the portion is not small at all. The food taste great and i would come back any time im around here again.

I have to update my review due to the fact that I found a hair in my food half way through eating it. I’m not very upset however my girlfriend is! She told the manager and the manager asked to see the hair. So after showing the manager the hair she decided to make us a new bowl. I’m very fair with my reviews and I hate to do this but there was a small curly hair in my food … What would you do?

HEYBPGRILLMANAGER… I HOPEYOUDOREADTHISBECAUSE I’M ABOUTTOSHITONYOURESTABLISHMENT! You know l wrote a very«friendly» review about your place on Google review but now that l have Unilocal, thought l might tell you here too! I came in one day waiting for a buddy of mine and figured ok small cozy place… might get a snack. The Korean lady who works at the boba place was trying to have me buy her product… uh no! I only wanted chips that’s 35 cents and got charged a dollar! Oh here’s a fun one, when l offered my card she got upset because l had no fucking cash! When l politely asked for water because l got spicy cheetos, l had to pay for that too! I hate establishments that charge for a fucking small cup of water! Amigo, buddy, pal… having a fucked up employee with no fucking brains?! Good thing I’m not coming back… shit if you guys have bathrooms, your toilets don’t deserve me shitting in them! Fucking might charge my fat ass for every use of toilet paper!

Seriously, very Poor Customer Service. Food portions are not too bad for the price they ask for, but the main problem is that they continue to mess up the orders. I called and order To-go to pick up my Bacon Cheese burger. They messed up my order by giving me a Double cheese burger instead… By the time I got to work, it was too late. She also was mad/upset when I told her my order was To-go and blamed that I said that I was going to eat it in house. She was the one/or whoever received my call messed up the order, not me. Giving attitudes to customers when it’s your own mistake is a bad sign especially for the food industry. My coworker wanted to come here so I came, but I really wouldn’t be ordering or coming back for their poor service. Also, asked for some Napkins and the lady who was talking to me repeated the same question«What are you saying?» then asked why I needed Napkins… are you serious, why do I need Napkins for? I really don’t understand why it’s so hard to just give customers a piece of Napkin to clean up after themselves.

BP Grill is one of those places where I’m glad that I travel back to re-visit an area. Literally ran across it during my PT around Buena Park. Saw their Grand Opening sign and decided to return there for lunch. It’s got a lot going on. A boba tea shop, fast order counter, drive through window, and a small sit down Korean restaurant. It’s really busy looking, but everything works out. Got a special bowl to go one time, and a sit down meal the next. Had the teriyaki chicken and beef bowl(special $ 6.90). A lot of food, but the taste of the chicken was very average, not much of a marinade to flavor the white meat. The marinated beef was much more tasteful in comparison. Had enough for a second smaller meal. Ordered the short rib soup the next day(also on special $ 9.95), it came with rice and 5 banchan side dishes. Wow! Why haven’t I eaten this dish before? Came out piping hot and still boiling. Cut the beef off the bones and slowly went to town! Soo good! I was even served a second bowl of rice. I was so full with meat, banchan, rice, and broth by the time I was finished! Very enjoyable and one to repeat whenever I’m back in the Buena Park area. Bring your appetite! Definitely recommend and will repeat!

I thought they were undergoing construction when I first walked into the building. Nope, that’s just the makeshift wall dividing off the Korean BBQ section from the rice bowl & burger section. Weird set up. What kicks ass: The fries are deliciously awesome and their passion fruit tea, which I ordered at the third section of the building, is good, too. Pricing is great for a lunch place. $ 6.50 for a rice & chicken bowl with veggies, and the portion is enough for me to be full. No complaints — staff is friendly and the fries and tea are good– but the interior set up is confusing and could use some help. Also, please put a mirror in the women’s restroom.

This first time I tried this place was back in August. I had the teriyaki chicken bowl which was very good. They had recently opened, a soft opening, and it didn’t look like they were finished with part of the construction in the interior. Ok, I can look past that it just opened. Flash forward to the middle of October. The place looks worse than it did in August. There is construction all over the interior. Today I tried the Teriyaki chicken sandwich. I didn’t really care for it. My friend wanted to order the curly fries, they were out. Ok not a problem. He then ordered a bacon cheeseburger, to go. When we got home, it was a double cheeseburger, no bacon. teachable moment… don’t leave until you’ve checked your bag. I’m so confused, is this a burger joint or a Japanese restaurant? Fries and rice don’t quite mix. Two starches too much. The good: the bowls yum yum and they’re cheap. The bad: all of the junk in the dinning room. Someone please hire a maid.

Don’t come here to order a grilled cheese lol. Ordered at 12:25, and after I ordered a huge rush came in and I thought to myself, «dang I came just in time» but nope. Everyone after me got their food before me. Only about 18 minutes later I received my grilled cheese and fries. Just spent my entire lunch standing and waiting so now I have to eat at my desk haha. On top of that I ordered a taro milk tea and the lady who made it out like extra powder or something cuz it’s so thick and I’m getting things stuck in my teeth. 2 stars for the service. Food is whatever. Sorry To disappoint! Based this off service since it’s right by my work and A LOT of people who work close by in the warehouses come here. So call ahead or something so you don’t spend your whole lunch waiting around like I did. Actually never mind… Just don’t order a grilled cheese like I said in the beginning haha. Just opened up my food, and they used the wrong bread. So mad. Haha :(

A little hidden gem in Buena Park. They just opened a Korean section in the restaurant. It’s so delicious!!! You can’t help but notice the quality of the meat they use in the spicy chicken. SPICYCHICKEN was amazing! It was over onions with some rice and other sides. It was perfect for my craving for Korean food. I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. I’m coming back here for sure. Don’t forget to grab some Boba! The nice lady told me it was made fresh every day. I actually don’t like Boba because most places make it too mushy. This Boba was made perfect

I was invited to come here with a close friend of mine the other day and driving up to the location, I was baffled with the atmosphere/aesthetic of the place. It’s a strange mixture of a typical 50’s diner, a cute café, the typical Asian aesthetic(notice that I use Asian because I can’t put my finger on what exactly they’re going after), and then random things here and there that don’t make much sense to me. But. moving on to the food. My friend and I had came in and waited roughly 5 or so minutes to order our food. We had ordered 2 cheeseburgers(free chili with every order!) and a deluxe chili cheese fries. Our payment was processed and we went to order at the second counter for boba.(Notice that I said second counter.) At BP grill, for some reason there are 2 different counters for 2 different kinds of orders. The main counter is specifically for food such as their plates, bowls, burgers, and the like while their second counter is for their drinks and sweets like boba. Drinks wise, my friend had ordered their caramel BOBA blend while I ordered their matcha BOBA blend. We waited a good 15 minutes for our food and drink numbers to be called and then went right in to eating. Thankfully, the fries turned out to be pretty good. There was enough for the two of us to reconsider whether or not we should eat our cheeseburgers, which is always a plus. The cheeseburgers on the other hand were mediocre. Even with the chili added on top, I definitely would not consider spending my money on them again and just drop by some place closer to my house… but considering the price, I managed to get over it. Drinks wise, the drinks were pretty great. I am usually extremely picky when it comes to boba and my drink blends and their matcha blend was pretty amazing. One of the problems I’ve come to notice is that sometimes places put in too much matcha into a drink and it just ends up tasting ridiculously gross… but BP Grill did a pretty decent job boba wise. All in all, the fries and the boba here were pretty great. As for their«Asian cuisine», I can’t vouch for it. but I can restate that their cheeseburgers were pretty mediocre. The layout and the aesthetic/atmosphere of the place really throws me off on the other hand. I don’t understand how people can call their aesthetic welcoming and nice because it just looks like they can’t make up their minds on what to go for… so they went for everything. 4⁄5 stars from me because the place looks like a hot mess and because the cheeseburgers were mediocre, but I will definitely be back for boba and fries.

Had lunch here today the restaurant had a odd odor to it when we walked in. I ordered the salmon teriyaki and a Thai tea. The food was really bland and the salmon was over cooked. The service was fast and the cashier was friendly. The lady calling customer #‘s was so extremely loud it was unprofessional and quite annoying, we were trying to enjoy our lunch overall I would not return.

I had mix feelings about the place after seeing the reviews but my experience was good for a teriyaki place. I mean it’s a teriyaki place and I don’t expect the best service, but the food has to be good. And I can say that the food was damn good for a teriyaki joint. Not drenched in teriyaki sauce and you can actually taste the meat. Its not chewy like the other cheap places I’ve been to. It’s not the cheapest or they over pack the plate, but more than enough to get me full. The meat to rice ratio was good here where I didn’t have to save my meat per scoop(you know what I mean). The salad was also fresh as you can see below pictures. Lastly what made me leave a positive feedback is that the other reviews were about the service rather then the food. And I chatted with the owner found out its a family own business where the mom and son was running it after going through some difficult times. I understand the difficulty of surviving in this crazy complaining world and I felt they needed a legit review about their quality of the food.

This little place opened up right by my work place so I thought we’d check it out. This is a perfect example of «don’t judge a book by its cover.» The outside of the restaurant looks very welcoming with the nice outside patio area and hipster exterior. When you walk in, it’s blazing hot because there is no AC and if there is, you’re still sweating. There’s 2 stations, the food and a Lollicup area. I ordered my food over the phone and there was a special on Labor Day for $ 1 boba. They said everything would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there after 25 minutes, waited in line & when I got to the front, the guy at the register said I could pick up my boba from the other station. There was a line there as well so I waited. When it was my turn, the lady there said she had no clue that I ordered the boba over the phone and she had to keep my receipt. And she put my order last after everyone else’s orders. What’s the point in making a phone order if you’re not going to have it ready? So again I waited for the boba and walked over to pick up the food order. The bag was soaked and when I asked him why, the guy said it’s because of the heat from the fries. Like really? The WHOLEBAG was wet.(See the pic below) The food? Very mediocre. My boss didn’t like his burger(the tomato was really discolored and hard) and was disgusted by the wet bag and didn’t like the fries. We all agreed NOT to come back here again.

Lunch break! Decided to try out this place with my parents. I’m diggin’ the concept and the overall feel of this place. It is warm in here and they don’t have AC. Well at least I’m not feeling any at this moment. They have a station for their grilled items(burgers, teriyaki, etc.) and another station for their drinks(coffee, boba, etc.). Pretty good amount of space. My dad ordered us chicken teriyaki bowls. Apparently there’s a BUYONEGETONEFREE, ONLY if you order chicken bowls. It’s nothing amazing. It’s your typical chicken and rice. It’s not like Asian rice either. I have yet to try their boba, but maybe next time. UPDATE Ordered a taro«blended» and that sh*t is expensive for a large and with boba. It was basically gray and not that typical purple color. Wtf? And it doesn’t taste good. As a boba enthusiast, I’m disappointed lol.

I had taro tea w boba after meal n boba tasted better than any othr major over priced cafes. Friendly service n clean new atmosphere w lots of potential definitely has my attention as well :) I think I’ll become a regular. **they seem to have many promotions thru out store

Sooooo glad there is finally a place that is walking distance from my house that has good food! Came in today after finally realizing it was open and it was funny seeing people come in during their daily walks to just see what they offered. lol There were two people ahead of me in line but the wait wasn’t so bad. It was just that since it was probably everyone’s first time there, it took them a while to order. They carry Teriyaki bowls and plates, hamburgers and fried plates like chicken strips and nuggets. Prices are reasonable so I opted to go with a chicken, beef, veggie bowl. I also stopped by their drink station which is a different part of the restaurant and ordered some Boba. Both of the items I ordered were delicious. The veggies in the bowl tasted fresh the chicken was really good as well. The drinks are Lollicup so you can’t go wrong there. Will try their burgers and chili cheese fries next time. The staff was friendly and pretty quick with everything considering they are still training.
