Little café near Knott’s Berry Farm. The service here was good. The employees were very friendly and told me which drinks were good. Iced strawberry latte was very interesting. Ive never had strawberry syrup in my latte until now and honestly, it works. They freeze ice coffee cubes and put them in the latte which I thought was different.

I’d give 4.5 stars if I could. 5 stars is unrealistic in my view. It means it’s the best & there can be no better. I base my coffee reviews on cold brews & I’ve had more than my fair share. I must admit that Coffee Code is my top 5. Shout out the Papua New Guinea brew. I’ve been coming here for months and just got around to leaving a review. Ambience is nice and the staff are courteous, friendly & prompt. Angie always remembers my order before I even say a word.

I’ve been to Coffee Code plenty of times now and the main focus is always presentation. When entering coffee code you are usually greeted by a line of customers; look right and you see a liberal amount of barista certifications being lavishly displayed. To be as frank as possible, the baristas here have latte art that is on point. I will bring any social media, ‘grammar’, ‘pinner’, friends here since the presentation of food and drink is done quite well and attention is meticulous. I’ve tried just about every latte and several of the brews at coffee code and was not fully satisfied with the quality of coffee, the consistency changes probably due to the attention to art detail(ratios are inconsistent). This probably will not bother most though. — What would be ideal for you? If you’re like me and simply enjoy all the subtle notes that various roasts offer, look towards the slow bar or go for a simple americano. If you like sweet and more playful flavors of coffee, the hazelnut, café con leche, or iced strawberry might be more ideal for you. Want an even more dessert style coffee? Have your espresso with vanilla ice cream as an eiskaffe. I wont delve too deep into the food but most items offered are along the lines of desserts such as waffles, brick toast, and cakes and may pair well with more bitter coffee selection. — The seating arrangement and space is not ideal for anything more than sitting and socializing. Every time I sit at a table near the aisle, I’m almost guaranteed to have someone bump into me. It is loud and busy at coffee code, not somewhere you would probably want to study. The tables are quite cluttered and non uniform and there isn’t much variety nor options for seating choices(note: you can not move the table, there is signage on the tables mentioning it). Coming here to study or get work done is not recommended. — — — — — — — — — — — — Coffee Code: 1−−−−−2−−−−−−3−−−−−−4−−−−−5 | — — ± — –+x — –± — –|: Coffee Quality/Consistency | — — ± — –± — –± – x – |: Art/Presentation | — — ± – x – ± — –± — –|: Service/Baristas | — — +x — –± — –± — –|: Ambiance/Seating | — — ± — –+x — –± — –|: Food/Menu Variety (I will start introducing(and appending prior reviews) with an overall ‘café scale’ as I feel 1 – 5 stars simply isn’t enough.) — 2÷11÷16

I wanted to try this place a long time ago so I met up with a friend and made a visit a couple times but apparently I’ve been going to a different coffee code… haha. Anyways, met with a friend here for an early coffee. I wanted a waffle but it was too early for me for a sweet waffle. So I settled with a white chocolate latte. I simply loved it. it was just so good! I’m not sure it was because it woke me up or just the smell of it. But I loved the atmosphere, the polite cashier, and the coffee art! My friend got a waffle so I had a bite, and it was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside! I love plain waffles too so next time I am definitely getting myself a waffle! Will visit again(hopefully) soon!

Great place to have coffee, great environment, great customer service. Today I ordered a honey dew slush for my dad, a peach tea for my mom and a decaf caramel latte for myself. I also ordered a honey bread to share. The honey bread is so good, it’s not too sweet so it’s perfect, it also comes with a side of ice cream and fruit which is a perfect blend. The reason for the three stars is because they recently changed their hours of service. They now close at six pm everyday of the week, how disappointing.

The coffee is amazing here! The iced vanilla latte is my favorite. It almost has a rich, nutty flavor. Even the ice cubes are made with coffee so you don’t have to worry about watered down coffee! It’s just under $ 5 for a latte. Service is great! We were greeted when we walked in and when we left. Wifi is also available! It’s a nice place to work or study.

Great coffee and great service. Do you want coffee from the 2015US Barista Champion? Then you’ve come to the right place. I usually get their dutch cold brew. I’m always surprised by how it tastes different every time I get it. Sometimes it’s fruity sometimes it’s chocolatey, its amazing. Also the fruit waffles. Best waffles in OC hands down. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Eat it fast otherwise it does get soggy. If you want coffee done legit and live in OC then this place is a must.

Came here early in the morning to meet a friend for coffee. I like how the windows are tinted on the outside so its a little more private for those who are sitting inside. I walked in and theres tons of chairs and tables around. To be honest it feels crowded with all the tables and chairs. If this place was packed i dont think youd have much arm room to move about. There was only one person a head of me. It took a while for my coffee to come. I think if it was busy the wait might be too long. Either way the coffee was ok. You could really taste the hazelnut in my coffee. I also loved the coffee art in my cup. I feel like only some coffee shops do this and not all which is a shame. My waffle came out very fresh. I love the consistency of the waffle. Not soggy but has a light crunch to it. The fruit tasted fresh and the ice cream was just right. I’d definitely come back for the waffle and maybe for an ice drink next time.

Consistent coffee throughout the years I’ve been here. And now as I’m a trained barista and have an extent knowledge of coffee, I got to say Coffee Code treats each drink with the similar passion they put into their work ethic. I’m very glad they’re part of this community and I hope to continue to see them grow.

Little café near Knott’s Berry Farm. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t too packed. Their waffles are amazing! The coffee is pretty good too — very creamy and delicious. The service was okay, took a while to get our food.

I loooooooooooove Coffee Code! From the décor to the smooth espresso and friendly service, it’s my favorite café in the area. We love to go before Disneyland over waiting in long Starbucks lines inside. My favorite drinks are the Iced Strawberry Latte(surprisingly so bomb!) and the Cinnamon Vanilla Latte. I love that they used Iced coffee cubes too, so much better than regular ice that waters down your drink. I have yet to try their desserts/snacks like the honey bread and waffles but they look really good. Soon!

Coffee Code is a place to hang out with your friends after a good day after school to grab something sweet or drink some good brewed coffee. It is small and cozy but the staff is very energetic and always welcoming to all their customers and very happy all the time. The desserts are very good and decorated with such profession you can’t help but take a picture from all angles. I had the brownie with side of vanilla ice cream my second visit and it was such a good paring. Next time I’ll grab a coffee and read a book while i’m at it.

Cute coffee shop selling great coffee. Clean and bight shop, simple but cute in décor. We went with their iced mocha and iced caramel latte and loved them! Service was great, prices fair and you could taste the quality of the coffee. Drinks came out quickly and were made perfectly, worth checking out!

+ CAFECONLECHE: This drink is so good. Their latte art is definitely well executed with small peanuts on and in the drink, which add a crunchy and nutty taste to the coffee! It was a little on the sweeter side, but perfect for me. + COFFEEICEDCUBES: Their iced drinks use frozen coffee iced cubes, adding even more caffeine to your drink! This is pure genius. The décor in the café is definitely minimal, almost too bare compared to how intricate and great the coffee and waffles look. However, they are sure to show their awards for winning latte art competitions!

omg I really like this place! I bring my friends here to catch up because it’s such a cute place to chat. The shop faces the east, so during evenings, you get to catch a really bright sunset if you’re sitting outside.(But if you’re indoors, they lower their shades at this time because the sun is blinding.) There is free wifi if you need to get some work done, but bring headphones. People can get loud when they’re having too much fun. Location wise, it’s in a small plaza, but there should be plenty of parking in the small private lot. It feels really small though. Restrooms are available in the back, but the keys are on the counter by the register. The women’s restroom has cute décor inside! I like that they have a printed menu for both drinks and food by the register. There’s a lot of stuff going on behind the register and the menu on the wall is hard to read. What is impressive is that their coffee has won many awards, and their baristas know their stuff and what to recommend. I tried the iced caramel island $ 6, which was like an iced latte, but the ice cubes were espresso ice cubes. I like that they offer soy milk substitution because I don’t like whole/2% milk. I’ll have to come back to try other drinks, like the green tea latte or affogato. In terms of food, the waffle $ 10 was just ok. Presentation is not too shabby, but taste was just alright. I like that they put fresh fruit on top though.

Coffee code is a cute Korean coffee shop locating right across from the Knott’s Berry Farm. Pros: * Easy parking within the plaza * Free Wi-Fi(from 11AM to 6:30PM) * 5-star worthy friendly service * Good background music(Hey There Delilah, Be Okay, Chasing Cars, the Reason, etc) Cons: * Sightly overpriced dessert($ 9.25 for a full sized fruit waffle???) and somewhat average latte(see below) *** Vanilla Latte(hot, $ 4.60): Not as foamy as I thought and tasted a bit on the sweeter side. I mean latte wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t amazing either. Strawberry whipped cream waffle($ 5.50): I was thinking about getting a fruit waffle, but I decided to get a mini version instead(50% size fruit waffle — kiwi — banana — vanilla ice cream = strawberry whipped cream waffle + save yourself additional $ 3.75). Wait … few slices of strawberry, whipped cream, and half sized slightly sweet waffle for almost $ 6(if you include tax)? For the amount you are paying, this dessert felt a bit underwhelming. *** A solid 3 to 3.5-star for its latte and waffle, but I will bump up to 4-star for its ultra friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and a good music playlist. I think their signature coffees(e.g. Café Con Leche or Eiskaffe) look a lot more promising than the typical latte selection. P. S. — Coffee Code got 1st place in 2013 Latte Art World Championship Open(in Chicago) as well as 1st&3rd places for 2015 U.S. Latte Art Champion.

I have been coming here for over 2 years and its because the coffee is good and my friend has a crush on all the cute female baristas! The Honey Brick Toast so far has been all that I’ve tried in terms of their food. It comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and its a very heavy dessert, but very delicious! Great to share with 2 – 3 people. If you like bread, then its for you. All their coffees are great, espeically their Café con leche and basically anything that includes espresso in it you cant wrong with and it will keep you up all night! Very friendly service, open late, which is rare to find for a café in the OC, but the place is small and can seem a little claustrophic when its crowded. Still a great place for a date or to hang out with a small group of friends. I know I will be back here again!

Pricey $ 5 drinks which is typical for korean coffee shop. they have seating indoors & a few tables outside –strawberry iced latte: unique drink & was a bit too sweet after a while but it was good –salted iced coffee: not bad, it had that salted foam on top that is so very popular in asian cafes now overall verdict? probably not giong to be back
