Love this place. Everything on the menu is delicious. Prices could be a little lower though, it is rather costly for fast food.

Paul’s Place We arrived at Paul’s Place which calls itself«GOURMETFASTFOOD» 7012 Orangethorpe Ave. Buena Park. CA at 4:30PM Friday night January 29, 2016. As I walked in I couldn’t help but notice the lowlight atmosphere and the young lady that was busting the tables Smiled and greeted us. You order your food a counter in the back off a large menu on the wall. I ordered the pastrami which comes on a fresh roll with mustard and pickles $ 8.99. Wife ordered The junior burger for $ 2.29 extra cheese $.50 and a side order of fries $ 2.99. We paid at the counter total bill was $ 15.95 They gave us a number we put on our table and they brought us our food in less than 10 minutes. The pastrami sandwich was good. Stuffed full of pastrami. So much I asked for a knife and fork to eat the meat that fell out of the Sandwedge onto my plate. The wife enjoyed her junior burger which was bigger than a lot of regular burgers in other restaurants. Or french fries or more than adequate for both of us to share. We will definitely come back to Paul’s Place to try some of the other items on their large menu. Four Stars for our first visit. John M.

One of my favorite items is their gyro sandwich. If you like chili cheese fries, I recommend it.

NEVEREVERCOMINGHEREAGAIN! They sold me expired orange juice with MOLD in it! Disgusting! To top it off, I gave the orange juice to my 1year old daughter, so I freaked out and called them and told the manager what happened 5mins after purchasing via drive thru and she(LIA, LILA? Something like that) just said she was sorry and didn’t know what else she could do except give me 50% off my next meal. Really? 50% off? You just gave me expired orange juice with mold on it… Bad customer service I would say.

We came here because this place has 4 stars. We went in and it was PACKED. We could barely find a seat(had to sit outside). We ordered the food and waited… and waited… and waited… and waited… and waited some more. It literally took forty-three minutes for the food to arrive. Mind you, this is not a typical sit down restaurant, but you order at the counter and find your own seat. The girls who brought the food were freindly. The food wasn’t great, to be honest. The polish sausage was burnt, the potatoes were bland, the eggs were cooked too much on the outside but we’re raw inside(and cold when they arrived), and the pancakes were too rubbery. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, bad experience for us.

Best place ever!!! Whenever I go I can never decide between the avocado burger combo or the hungry Paula breakfast plate so i’ll order one and my boyfriend will order the other one and then we split. Good food good pricing and definetely somewhere for you to get full! I walk out with a food coma all the time. Enjoy

This place is great and the food is absolutely delicious! My husband and I have eaten here at breakfast and dinner and the food is always fresh, delicious and reasonable priced. The food items we have had the pleasure of consuming are the Denver omelette, chorizo, chicken Cesar and chicken gyro salads, zucchini and bacon cheeseburgers. All of which do not disappoint!

The food was bomb! I ordered a club sandwich and chili cheese fries. The portions are big. I was stuffed, couldn’t even finish it. My husband had the colossal burger and he really liked it. Overall I give it 5 stars for the yummy food. Cashier was friendly. Food was brought out shortly after. Place is clean. Recommend for sure!

After visiting this restaurant several times today I decided to check in while I was here for lunch and I couldn’t have been more disappointed with my visit. They usually serve good food nothing out of the ordinary just decent food. How can anyone mess up a chili cheese fries with carne asada? Well apparently Paul’s Place can… My fries were cold and they only put chili on half of my order of fries, my co-worker ordered a steak sandwich which was also cold; we had to wait about ½ hour to get our food.

Came here at lunch before the lunch crowd made its way in; the girl behind the counter was probably one of the rudest I’ve ever met; she was on the phone taking a phone order with no acknowledgement to the customer in front of me that she’d be helping us anytime soon; after a 15 minute wait in line, she didn’t even greet us PAYING customers. She was just short with answers when asked and did not even respond to OUR ‘hello, how are you?’ BITCH. For what we just paid for lunch, and it being the holidays, here’s our tip: get another job or at least brush up on your customer service skills! Steer clear of the pepsi, wild cherry… it was brown water. Horrible. First time here, do we have to ask for utensils? Shouldn’t it be standard for the servers to bring it by when they bring your food? The burger was good but I need to ask for less lettuce next time LOL Will probably be back only because hubs works down the street but am hoping this chick gets a new attitude first.

Nice little neighborhood food joint. Customer service has always been excellent in my experiences — the staff are friendly and polite. Food is cheap and pretty quick. There’s also a variety of items on the menu so you’ll probably find something to satisfy whatever craving you have. However, food quality can be inconsistent at times. Sometimes the french fries are great, but other times they’ve been under-cooked.

Where do I begin I been coming to Pauls Places for the past year and it seems that is a hit or miss the the last time I came here I had many issues: 1. The girl who works at the drive thru during the afternoon or evening is totally unprofessional, and rude. I told her what I wanted 3 times and she still got my order wrong. However, that was not what upset me the most, but what upset me the most was that she gave me attitude. When working in fast food or retail YOURJOB it’s to be patient and professional no matter what and that’s something she has to learn. 2. I waited at the drive thru for like 10 minutes, and I thought drive was suppose to be quicker. 3. My food was not cook throughly, when I got home I had my first bite and I could taste the uncooked raw meat. I could of drove down the street to IN N OUT and got a better burger for half the price. In conclusion, I do not think I would be coming back, and I will advice my family, friends, and co-workers to avoid this place. .

I liked this place because it was clean, a bit dim, and the staff was very nice. Everyone from the cooks to the cashier take care of business. Staff continuously clean tables and ask if patrons need anything. Now, for the food: I ordered the double cheeseburger with zucchinis. The burger: good taste, a bit above the typical tams-Jims– burger joints. Fresh veggies and good tasting 1000 island sauce. The zucchinis: huge, crispy, and complemented with graded Parmesan cheese. Now, these were just right and above average in comparison to the other burger joints. Not too hot or too greasy I will definitely will be coming back to Paul’s.

You can’t get any better for fast food! The prices are totally worth the product. We each got burgers, fries, and cherry pepsi’s for just under $ 20. The burgers were fresh and a large portion. The fries were hot and fresh, not covered in grease, and totally fire! They have a drive thru which is sweet and they do serve all menu items through drive thru. Breakfast is served everyday Mon-Fri til 11am and on the weekends til 1pm. Can’t wait to come back to try breakfast!

#cominghereonthedaily this place has bomb food. It may take a while to get it but thats bc this place is always packed. That’s how good it is. The toast and butter is my favorite. I dont know what they put in it but I would dive into a pool of just toast and butter. Their other food is great too but the toast and butter.

Good burger joint disguised as a nice restaurant with a big menu that will leave you full. My co-workers wanted me to write a review regarding our experience today. We brought our students in for breakfast, getting in line around 10:45am. By the time we got to the cashier, it was 10:58, and we were instructed that we could no longer order breakfast. When my co-worker told the cashier it was not yet 11:00, he said«Do you wanna argue with that guy?» pointing to the guy behind him, who again asserted no. Lame.

I thought I wrote a review bout this place. An olé fashioned American Burger joint owned by the typical Greeks. I joked with the owner a few years ago when he was closing up… if he would like to smoke a cigar with us in the patio. He said, «yes, when the wife is not here!» I said it jokingly, but, he was serious. I never returned at night with stogies. I wonder if he remembers… Ok ok, soliloquy aside. The burgers are wonderful. They are standard smart n final food, hence don’t be plain. Ortega burger comes with a mild ortega chile. It’s a good size, not a small pinky in the middle of the burger. Double bacon avocado cheese. With my current facial condition, i can’t open my mouth wide enough for it but for those who prefer artery-cloggers, this is the grub. Club sammich. I get mine with thousand instead of disgusting mayo. Who likes white stuff in the sandwich except. ah never mind. Thousand island is basically mayo and ketchup mixed anyways xD Fries — they give a mountain with each combo. enough for fat asian people to share. Onion rings — on the sweeter side. They aren’t as steroided out like Farmer Boys, but it’s close enough, maybe HGH’d onion rings. yeah! It’s not that pricey. About $ 10 per head to eat fatass style.

We have been coming here for years and it’s the best breakfast for the price. The restaurant is family friendly and always clean. They have real plates and forks, not a bunch of plastic stuff. The menu offers a wide variety of foods including Mexican and Greek. Their breakfast menu is extensive. This morning my daughter ordered a breakfast burrito($ 5.49) which had bacon, eggs and potatoes. My wife ordered a Denver omelette and I chose the Chorizo omelette, I believe they were $ 7.99 each, both served with 3 eggs, hashbrowns or homefries with toast or a muffin. Our food was really good as usual. You get your money’s worth here. It says gourmet fast food and that’s exactly what it is. I would highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. There’s a McDonald’s next door… skip it!
