Ang’s Lunch Car

Found this place on my way to work, and couldn’t be happier! Probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. You can even call ahead of time and pick up your food. Friendly staff and almost zero wait time for fresh delicious food. This place is a must try if you’re in the area.

If you have a lot of ANGst, come here. If you have ANGer management issues, this is your place. If you are looking for a waitress who is an ANGel, you’ll find her here. And if you are from ANGola, you can come here. It’s no more racially prejudiced than anywhere else in WNY (which is quite a lot unfortunately. But certainly not specifically this restaurant, I would hope).
What to get: Burger.
This was the last stop on a long food tour, so I really wasn’t feeling like any more food, but I forced myself to order the burger they recommended, and my word, am I glad that I did.
Amazing prices, lovely people, delicious food.
It was one of the best cheap burgers I’ve had in ages. I got it with everything, except for mayo, and it was big, and juicy, and delicious. It put fast food outlets and places like Zorba’s and Five Guys to shame. Similar type of burger to Five Guys but much better and less generic and made with love.
The tiny little place is absolutely packed with people. It’s one of my new favourite go-​to spots in Buffalo and everyone who likes little cheap home-​cooking diners should give it a try. The menu is very limited and Zorba’s-esque but with a nice range of subs and sandwiches… it’s so cute and the workers are very very friendly. It’s right in the middle of the food processing district of Clinton, so I don’t think it really gets the attention it deserves. It deserves a LOT.
One of my new fave burgers in town, and my fave cheap-​end burger. It’s under $ 3, which is ridiculous. Amazing prices.
And if you want to meet a cartoon character, ANGelica from Rugrats works here to this day. And if you are religious and English, this place doubles as an ANGlican church.
