Took a chance on this place hoping that the food would taste better than the restaurant looks –like that«hole in the wall» restaurant with amazing food. Ordered sesame chicken and general tso, was very disappointed. We couldn’t tell the difference between them because they both had the same bland watery taste. Also, the white rice tasted like dirty water. Prices are great but that’s it.

Have been here twice now… I am from Syracuse and have been working in Buffalo and have been craving Chinese food! China Express is the classic American Chinese takeout that one would be craving or would desire on every level. I ordered the Sesame Chicken combo with Crab Rangoons and a soda… $ 11.00, but had plenty left over for dinner the next night, and it came with a bonus egg roll. Can’t go wrong with this place. If you want Chinese this place is a safe bet.

So I went here because it was close. When I got there I was a little grossed out by the place, but then again it’s like so many others, mostly take out, wouldn’t want to eat there. There was promising signs, like the fact that there were people calling in orders the entire time I waited and a steady stream of pick ups. So I thought hey, great, but then I got home and tried the food. No flavor at all! Not a bit. Nada! So I have to end my review there since there was nothing really to discuss, except, why was it so busy if everything was so bland. Then I thought carefully and realized that every single person who came in to pick up was at least 60. I thought it was because that is who resides is the local neighborhood, but then I thought, maybe it’s because as you get older you tend to like more bland food. So more power to the place for catering to the neighborhood, I won’t be heading back, but I don’t think they will notice.

I love this place! The stars are not a rating for décor but for the food and friendly service. I eat lunch here all the time! Only 3.49 for lunch until 3pm. The lady is super nice and very accommodating. Food is never anything but hot, fresh, and wonderful! You never have to worry about weather you came on a good day or bad day because the food is consistent. Only 3 tables to eat at but most people order take out so if you want you eat here you normally came have a seat. ^_^ Their crab rangoons are very garlicky so make sure you love garlic like I do before ordering them.(Best dipped in sweet and sour sauce which they will hook you up with if you ask for it)

If you’re craving some greasy ass Chinese take out, this is the place in Buffalo. This place kicks China King’s ass with no problem. This place is super duper cheap!!! I think I ordered like 4 lunch special for under $ 20. Sure, it’s dingy, small, creepy, could be infested with bugs, but just think of it as extra flavor in your food. Just kidding… kinda. I usually get the pint of chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce. It’s a bit blander than other chinese take out restaurants, but this place doesn’t make me go running face first into the dirty creek by my house so I can hydrate myself after the ridiculous load of MSG. And I’m actually a pretty big fan of the beef lo mein too. Greasy, sure, but which chinese take out place isn’t? The noodles aren’t soggy and the beef doesn’t have that texture like they soaked it in cornstarch to make it super soft. It’s like legit beef. Anyway, steer clear of their egg rolls even though that have like that buy 3 get 1 free deal or something. Not good. And their delivery is $ 2. They don’t tell you that. And I think the delivery guy added his own tip onto the bill… and therefore I go pick up my food now all the time. But seriously… I like it… a lot.

If you’re a craving Chinese take-out this place is not too shabby. Located on Union Street, near the Galeria mall, this place represents a nice hole in the wall Chinese take-out restaurant. I highly recommend their beef lo-mein, this actually is a very good dish, and relatively inexpensive. They also have great lunch specials that are super cheap and they give you a lot of food. They have a really nice sweet and sour chicken, and chicken and brocolli dish for these specials. There is not much seating so this place is basically a take-out service. This place in my opinion is way better than any China King around Buffalo. Enjoy!

Nice little hole in the wall place. The delivery guy is American… easier for us to understand sometimes. The family that owns it is super nice and knows their customers well. Lunch specials plentiful at a cheap $ 3.49. Food is always consistent and delicious!
