Coming here is like a massive treasure hunt! 3 floors of well curated furniture and art with a great selection of unique items from Art Deco to mid century modern. The owner is very knowledgeable(it’s almost like a furniture history lesson.) and willing to make deals happen!(Coming in person, the prices are much less than posted on the website, although let’s say quite a bit more than going to an ikea! Which makes sense given the quality of craftsmanship of these pieces). Tons of Eames furniture everywhere, Danish furniture too. There are a few other antique places in the near vicinity– Horsefeathers and Hollywood Hanks which focus more on nostalgia/memorabilia but coocoou I absolutely love! We love our chairs, coffee table and new lamp!

Completely obsessed. Before moving back to Buffalo, I visited coocoou27 from time to time whenever in town. Now that we’ve moved back, we’ve started to acquire furniture to fill a whole house. First stop — coocoou27! Our whole experience has just been such a pleasure… I love being in the shop, love working with the owner(he knows so much about all his pieces) and love the ease of getting the furniture into my home. Truly an amazing experience from beginning to end.

I love this place… It’s a gem…3 giant floors of stuff. Have bought a handful of very cool mid century modern furniture and other interesting pieces from this place. They don’t have set hours but the guy said there usually always open… I have gone on the weekends during the day. He said you can always call first. Also, all the stuff doesn’t have a price tag so you have to ask about the price if you are interested in something.

Coocoou27 is a huge warehouse space located in an industrial neighborhood. It’s not the easiest place to find, but it’s well worth the effort. On the first floor, you’ll find a well appointed showroom stocked mainly with mid century modern furniture and accessories for the home. The prices are fair and the products are almost always in exceptional condition. Helpful staff is always on hand to assist. Near the front door you’ll find stairs up to two additional floors of warehouse space. On these floors you’ll discover a treasure trove of furniture, industrial pieces, and just about anything else you can imagine from a wide range of historical periods. As you venture into this area, you’ll find pieces stacked to the ceiling — so keep your eyes open! It’s easy to miss something great. More often than not the prices in this area are not marked, so if you find something you love, grab someone from the first floor to discuss the purchase. I’ve been happy to find a bunch of bargains here on really unusual pieces so it never hurts to ask! All in all, I think this is one of the best places in the city to look for used furniture — especially if you’re a fan of mid century modern pieces. It’s definitely the best collection I’ve encountered anywhere in Buffalo.
