Mediocre hotel. I expect more from Homewood chain being that it’s owned by Hilton and is in the top three brands by price in the Hilton family. This place is clean but a bit rickety and broken. Towel bar came off wall when I took the towel off, carpet had a hole in it, the front desk clerk looked like a cross between a troll and Jaba the hut! Breakfast was also clean and large but seemed dry and old. Just not a great hotel I will find a different one next time I’m here.

I’ve been staying at this hotel, whenever I am in town, for over 6 years. I absolutely love it here. Rooms are very large and clean. The property is well kept and conveniently located to the highways. It’s generally very quiet at this hotel. I’m a light sleeper so having the separate bedroom is very nice because it’s away from the hallway. I honestly don’t get woken up by noise in the hallways, like I would in other hotels. You really do feel like you’re in a small apartment rather than a hotel. The daily breakfast is decent. It’s not a cheap continental breakfast but it’s not a feast either. It’s just a solid buffet of fruits, pastries, waffles, and a daily meat and eggs option. It’s fresh and good. I’ve never eaten dinner here but it doesn’t look too bad either. The only issue I’ve ever had at this hotel is that many traveling youth sports teams stay here also. It’s not often, typically only on Thursdays through Sundays, but when they do stay here it can get pretty rowdy if the parents aren’t keeping a close eye on the kids. That said, if you’re in the bedroom of the suite, you don’t hear them playing in the hallways. Overall, I absolutely recommend this hotel!

Clean and spacious rooms, excellent service, fun pool, nice workout room, great breakfast and dinner/happy hour. Quiet location convenient to Buffalo and Niagara Falls as well as other area attractions(Erie Canal, Fort Niagara).

This was by far one of the best hotel stays I have ever had! Where to start? Plenty of parking, and not a far walk to the lobby from the lot, which is always a plus when you have a lot of baggage. The lobby itself is beautiful and cozy. There is a seating area with a fireplace and a huge laminated book which lists all of the restaurants in the Buffalo area with in depth descriptions, pricing and menus, which I thought was a nice and necessary touch. The room was impeccable(as all hotel rooms should be but sometimes it doesn’t happen this way) We had a mini kitchen and on the counter was a little note from the housekeeper that said there were clean dishes in the dishwasher for our use. The room supplied you with a few forks, knives, spoons, skillet, spatula, cups, bowls, plates, coffee machine, complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate, toaster oven, microwave, stove and fridge. The counter space was very minimal but perfect for our use. There was a kitchen table, sleeper sofa, desk, queen size bed and a bathroom. There was a little sheet on our fridge that said, «Groceries» and then space below to write down anything you needed. If you needed groceries you were able to give the list to a housekeeper and they would shop for your things and bring them back to your room later on! I’ve never seen anything like this before and we didn’t utilize this option but I thought it was a nice touch. Complimentary breakfast was the bomb. Make your own waffles, pancakes or oatmeal. Hard boiled eggs, fruit, granola, bagels, pastries, omelets, you name it. Another major plus was that there was fresh coffee out throughout the entire day and night even when the breakfast was over. That was clutch. There’s a pool and a fitness center open 24 hours as well. The only reason I am not giving this place five stars is because of the television set up. The tv was located in such a way that the person lying in bed and the person lying on the sleeper sofa couldn’t watch at the same time. Poor planning there. I was sleeping on the sofa and had to just listen to the movie playing because it was angled towards everyone else on the bed. Annoying. What was even more annoying though was the fact that the televisions don’t have their own DVD players. We had to rent one from the front desk and it took a good 20 minutes to figure out how to hook it up. When we called the front desk to ask for help, the woman on the other line said she had no idea how to deal with tv’s therefore could not help us. Other than the tv mishap I highly recommend this hotel and have no reason to stay anywhere else but here when visiting. VERY close to UB North campus for anyone wondering.

Read the reviews, they haven’t failed me yet! Nice hotel to keep in mind when you are in the area. Very clean, cozy rooms. Unlike some«suites» style hotels, these rooms are inside the building, not the«motel» style that you might find elsewhere. Staff was friendly and the service was great. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area again. By the way, there is a lot around this hotel. No problems finding food and other conveniences here.
