Just Pizza

Delivery service was god awful. Wish I knew that ahead of time. Will never order again.

We ordered two plain chicken finger dinners and it took over 90 minutes to get them delivered. The driver was clearly high and went to the wrong address. I’m not kidding, he told me he went to a similarly named street in the area despite the receipt having the correct address. I was told on the phone we could give the driver our credit card, we couldn’t.
When we finally got the food, the fries were basically mush. They were also mixed in with about 600 packets of ketchup and salt. The whole thing was so greasy it wasn’t really even enjoyable.
Probably the first and last time ordering from this place.

Walked in Below 0 degree weather for this & 30 minutes before closing they told me they were already closed. What kind of business works like that?

Great wings. Great chicken finger subs. Specialty pizzas are hit or miss, with more misses than hits.
Deliver service is god awful. Do yourself a favor and order for pick up, even if you have to walk/​drive in a Buffalo blizzard.

Good, not great. 2 slices for $ 5. Good place to go if you want to get in and out, not spend a fortune and get better than average pizzeria food.

I went through the Unilocal site to order online for delivery. You put in your address, and Unilocal tells you who delivers to your area. I ordered and paid online by credit card. Then I get a phone call from them. They don’t deliver to my area. And they can’t refund my money, I have to call the company. The company that THEY have hired uses too large a delivery area, but somehow this is MY problem. If anything is my fault, it is ordering from them anyway after reading the Unilocal reviews about their horrible customer service. What a joke. Never spending money with them again.

I lived right upstairs from this joint. Pizza taste better early evenings. They tend to mass produce pizza during their down time and let it sit out. The pizza then tends to be too dried out. Wings are very adequate and serviceable. For a long time I was hooked on the Italian wings, hope it’s still there.

I think they should change their name to «Juiced Pizza» and start serving things like fresh orange-​berry-​blast pizza, and kale-​green-​machine-​smoothie-​pizza. I bet that weirdness would be popular with local college kids and stuff. Or perhaps «Juiced Pizza» would refer to the fact that the farm animals slaughtered to provide the processed meat for these pizzas, are also given steroids during their unfortunate and horrifying lives.
But let’s take it at face value. «Just» Pizza, as in, nothing else?
False advertising. They clearly serve more than JUST pizza. In fact they have subs and wings and all kinds of other things. Just Pizza isn’t bad… some of the locations (there are many of them) are awful, but this one always has pretty decent pizza, so I’m giving it a four.
Personal experience: I used to come here all the time late night after I played a concert at Broadway Joe’s, or anywhere else for that matter. The problem is that since then I’ve developed a much better taste for pizza and unfortunately Just Pizza is actually some of the most average — or even bad, sometimes — pizza in a very good pizza town.
Yes you will get the odd good slice, and sometimes I really did.
However Buffalo is full of really delicious pizza places, so I highly recommend that you try one of the others… one of the many that I have given five stars to, perhaps? It is pretty typical Buffalo pizza, though.

During college, I would go to the clubs a block away from Just Pizza on the weekends. And around 2:30 am when I was craving a late-​night snack and a break from dancing. I would go over to Just Pizza and have the most tasty thin-​crusted cheese pizza.
I do have to admit it was rather greasy, but, it was totally worth it! Also, the wait was never that long even though there were many other college students hanging around there at the same time.

ordered at 6:12 pm for med pizza it is now 8 pm and i am still waiting… they told me about a hour wait… every time i call back they told me, it should be here any mins… really???

I am done with Just Pizza. They are over priced to begin with. We ordered a white pizza with hot peppers and chicken. What we got was a cheese pizza with red sauce chicken and sweet peppers. OK they messed up the order not so bad but their excuses were ridiculous. I was told that their tomatoes come in a red sauce so no fresh tomatoes, and also all their peppers are sweet peppers not hot … So perhaps they should rethink their menu descriptions.

This was my first time ordering from here. As soon as we tried it we noticed it was VERY greasy… dripping oil. We were really hungry though so we still ate a little. HORRIBLE MISTAKE! We all got really sick afterwords. Please do NOT buy from here.

Walked in at 10:00 pm and ordered a bruschetta pizza (which was awesome!) and ready in a only about 15 minutes. Would definitely come again.
Also, they have pizza by the slice, which i may try sometime. However, i also want to try several of the pizzerias in the area.

Very clean, the staff is great. My only complaint is that, frankly, I’m not a huge fan of the pizza. Their steak pizza is somehow world famous, but it’s not Travis famous or in my opinion worth paying a premium to get. Don’t get me wrong, you could do a lot worse. You could do a lot better too. Middle of the road, worth seeing if it’s what you’re into. One thing that will knock the average pair of socks off is their bbq chicken pizza with bacon.

This pizza is worth the visit every time, any time. Most pizza uses good ingredients but it does not come together, because the dough is poor. Just Pizza offers dough in flavors and styles and makes it all come together. Pizza good enough to willingly eat cold!

These guys do a proper Buffalo style pizza. Their pepperoni are a bit thicker than some places which is a bonus and while the cheese is thick and gooey, it does not slide off the pizza with one bite as some places can have a problem with. Add to the fact that you can add sesame seeds, garlic oil, and other free things to the crust and you got a pretty tasty pizza place.

La Nova’s, Bocce’s, Zetti’s, Santora’s, Romeo and Juliet’s, Pizza Plant, Pizza Works, Pizza Junction, John’s, Papa John’s, Casa-​Di-​Pizza, Prima Pizza, Mr. Pizza, Daddio’s Pizza, Wiseguy’s Pizza, Avenue Pizza, Bob and John’s…the list goes on and on and on and on and on. Buffalo has THOUSANDS of pizza places that deliver and most of them are pretty damn good. By and large this area has some of the finest local pizzerias around… and most of them make pretty remarkable wings to. So why should I pick one pizza place over another?
Just Pizza* has created one food item that is soooo spectacular the idea of it makes me instantly salivate:

I have ordered this pizza multiple times from multiple locations and it has always been amazing. THIS IS FOOD PORN…
A square-​sliced pizza with a thin crust which is covered with tiny bites of chewy carmelized onions. Savory and well seasoned pieces of thin cut steak, mushrooms and hot banana peppers are smothered in three distinct cheese. While I am unsure of what the actual cheeses are my best guess is Mozzerella for stretch and chew, Monterey Jack for creaminess and Parmigiano Reggiano (the undisputed king of cheeses) for flavor. Of course, it could be provolone, white American and Piccorino Romano… but the effect would be just about the same. Point being, this is the perfect blend of cheese (and meat) each creating a synergy of deliciousness! I don’t get take-​out very often and I hate to splurge calories on pizza, but if I gotta… I mean really gotta… for me there is no other choice then this amazing slice of Buffalo food porn.
*They also do a great job on their pit wings (BBQ Wings fried then char grilled)…though La Nova still makes the best.

This is the rain forest of pizzeria. This the best place in Buffalo to find diversity in pizza types. The price tend to be moderate, but is worth if you want something beside pepperoni or cheese.
