I love this place! The slices are huge. I like their sauce, their pizza and their chicken rolls. This is my favorite Zetti’s location. I’m disappointed they closed

I stopped by Zetti’s on Main Street tonight for a couple quick slices. I’m not a huge pizza person but every once in a while I crave a slice or two of their plain, thin crust cheese pizza. It’s my fav. I always sop up the extra grease with a couple napkins and add crushed red pepper. In my opinion it’s the best place to grab a slice.

Stopped at Zetti’s after a day of hiking at Chestnut Ridge. they have a wide variety of pizza’s ready to go, excellent subs and a large, clean dinner style eating area. Nice place to stop at if you just need a quick bite to eat

This place has just gone to the toilet. No sense of responsibility, urgency, chain of command it’s just mayhem. A bunch of kids basically running what should be overseen by a professional person with experience in all aspects of food service. The owner should try hiring some competent and well trained people and perhaps they would get the orders correct. They once again screwed up everything, thought I’d give them another try… what a mistake. No gloves while touching ones food order, touching money and then touching food that’s a big no no. The food was cold and looked as if a child put it together. I am seriously considering contacting the health department and the BBB regarding this place. They shouldn’t have issues like this, they are in a great area to make a serious profit and name for themselves. They don’t even apologize or offer some compensation for their screw up. That in itself offends me as a patron. I will never cross their threshold again as a patron. Good luck Zettis

Recipe for Zetti’s pizza: cardboard, a single drop of flavorless sauce, cover with a small amount of a plastic-like substance, and bake for who cares how long because this is the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. My boss has banned Zetti’s and for good reason. I don’t understand why there are quite a few people in Buffalo(mostly out of city college students) that actually like this«pizza». Buffalo has some of the best pizza and food in the world and people would instead want to eat this trash. Gave me pizzaria too(diarrhea from pizza).

A lot of people really like this place. Heck… people I know RAVE about it. It’s supposed to be «authentic New York» style pizza. Being a former New Yawka I just had to try it. And in a word I would have to say, «YUCK!!!» I couldn’t decide whether to get the white pizza or a slice of plain old pepperoni, so you know what? I got BOTH. Yup… one GIANT slice of white pizza with broccoli and one HUGE piece of cheese and pepperoni. I had ‘em wrapped to go so I could savor my NY Pizza experience in the privacy of my own home. Who knew what ecstasy awaited? First off I have to let you know this is VERYEXPENSIVE pizza. It cost me nearly $ 8.00 for those two slices. But, heck, if they were as good as I anticipated I wouldn’t mind paying(more than!!) NYC prices in good old Buffalo. Arriving home I heated the oven, placed my beloved slices right on the rack as instructed to by the coed behind the counter and set the table… with a REAL plate, mind you… no paper for these«pricey slice-ys». Alas, the moment arrived. DING! They were done. I cut each slice in half, placed a piece of each variety on my plate, and tasted each in turn. And you know what? They WEREN’T good ATALL! They were hard, dry, tasteless and UTTERLYDISAPPOINTING! I can’t think of one good thing to say about either variety. The pepperoni had no spicy zip and there wasn’t nearly enough sauce. The broccoli white was pretty tasteless as well. The crust was thin(as anticipated), but had no flavor. TWOTHUMBSDOWN, Zetti’s! And(sob) I had such high hopes!

I’m a big fan of the NYC-style slices at Zettis. Very similar in style and quality to what you get at Gino & Joe’s, Zettis has loads of slices out & ready to go at any given time. The stromboli and the chicken brianna are also fantastic to try. In fact, I find that the entrees are often much better than the pizza slices because of the quality of ingredients and the fact that they’re cooked to order. I find that I get better pizzas if I order a pie to go, and especially if John is overseeing things in the kitchen.

Oh Zetti’s…you are responsible for at least five pounds of fat on my behind. Chicken Bacon Ranch… Pepperoni/Sausage…Even some of the pasta dishes… yummm. Quick and reliable. And they have Black Cherry Lemonade which(when diluted with water or unsweetened iced tea and loads of ice) makes me extremely happy.

The pizza at Zetti’s is AWESOME… just like home(so downstate NY)!!! This location(out of the three Zetti’s) makes the best pizza. The slices are large, thin, crusty… PERFECTION. Unfortunately, this location does not offer as nice an atmosphere as the one on Maple Rd. across from UB North nor the location on Elmwood Ave. Either way… Zetti’s pizza is the best in Buffalo… just depends on whether you are getting dinner or lunch to go or want to dine in. Take out– obviously Main ST. in Amherst is the best choice… dine in… Elmwood or Main St both offer a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere!!!

My second favorite pizza in these United States. I love getting the Big Daddy and loading it with favorite toppings. I’m also a huge fan of the stuffed pizza. These guys make a great crust, and have great, fresh, delicious toppings. Getting a pie from Zetti’s is the first thing I crave when I set foot in Buffalo. They’ve offered to ship me one to Denver, but I’ve yet to go there. YET. I’ve tried several of their pasta dishes and calzones as well, but the pizza is so good, that it’s really all I want from them. As far as I’m concerned, there is no other pizza joint in the Buffalo area. Zetti’s is king.

Boneheads that go to a restaurant expecting to get food like momma makes, or back home, or in this city or that place, should take a chill pill, stay at home with your Hungry-Man dinner, put on the Snuggie watch Netflix. Real people want to hear about the food and the experience, not the groups of people you don’t happen to like. This is NOT a youTube channel. Remember: Real people. Real reviews. Pizza here was excellent. There is a wide variety available at any time. Being in a hurry to catch a flight back to SoCal, I ordered only 3 slices after asking for recommendations. The cute blonde behind the counter, from Long Island says, «For here or to go»? I say, «Here! I have a plane to catch»! She recommended broccoli with ricotta, and Buffalo chicken, and chicken parmesan. All were great choices and I prefer real meats on my pizza, but these were great. The slices are popped in the oven to heat up. I sat down with a cherry Coke and ate buffet style, taking 2 – 3 bites of each one, then moving to the next. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it again! The broccoli had the thickest crust, but was still thin. It had a lot of ricotta cheese, white sauce, which tasted fresh and good but was filling. The Buffalo chicken was true to it’s name but mild enough for and infant. I like my Buffalo wings to trigger the endorphin response, and this chicken sauce might be considered spicy by Limey standards. The pizza sauce was a neutral light sauce that just stepped aside for the Buffalo flavor to come through robustly. The chicken parmesan was very, very good. Chicken was moist and tasty, giving a muted tang that you could nibble on from halftime to the 2 min warning of a Bills game. Sauce was stellar, smacking your taste buds much harder than the first two(not that I wanted them to) and was my favorite. I finished all 3 slices but left 2 crusts, which I never do, but had to get to the airport. Now, I have had pizza in NYC, Chicago, DC, Seattle, Denver, Frisco, San Diego, Flagstaff, Raleigh-Durham, Atlanta, Detroit, and the O.C. in California. This is GOOD pizza. My only regret was I didn’t have more time to spend. I would have sampled a couple more slices, but not finished them. I arrived at 3:00 pm and had a 5:00 pm flight to M-SP then on to LAX. 3 hot slices hit the counter about 3:10 and I was rolling in my 2012 Journey, an Enterprise flagship of sorts, by 3:40. Smooth movements, my friends!

Three stars only because the chicken rolls are amazing, large and well priced… otherwise the pizza is often soggy and the chicken Parmesan Hero(or the weird way people call it around here… Sub) is like chicken fingers on hot dog buns… Get the chicken roll with some marinara sauce on the side, when its not too watered down its pretty good

This place is great for a quick snack or for take out. I’m a fan of the rolls they have for 4.99. You pretty much get stuffed with just a half. The chicken roll is great and reminds me of the chicken bakes at costco. I did try the meat lover’s once and wasn’t too impressed with it.

For a take-out Italian spot, Zetti’s is more than serviceable. Their menu is diverse and most items I would call pretty cheap. I thought Zetti’s was good enough to get me to come back again however, I can’t claim to be from NYC so I’m not as big of a pizza snob(I even like Domino’s…)

Zetti’s Pizza is as close to NYC style pizza as you’re gonna get in the Buffalo area. It’s good, but not the best pizza I have ever had. The biggest draw, in my opinion, is how big the slices are at Zetti’s. It’s a great change from any other pizza joints in the Buffalo area, since Buffalo slices generally are thicker, with huge bread like crusts, and heavy on the sauce. Zetti’s has great specialty pizzas, but in NYC style fashion. Thin, light, and delicious. The cheese is pretty standard, sometimes coming in too thick. The cheese is definitely chewy, and is sometimes a little too oily. The crust is crunchy and thin, but never burnt. The sauce is light on the slices, and is a bit on the sweeter side. It’s a good place to get pizza, especially if you’re like me, where you come from NYC to Buffalo for school and you have a feeling for pizza. Zetti’s offers a lot of toppings if the regular cheese slices is something you don’t do, as well as other items like pasta and wings.

As far as Buffalo’s pizza market, Zetti’s is as close to downstate as your going to get. It’s a refreshing change from Buffalo’s trademark thick crust mammoth square pizzas that share a closer texture to cake than dough. Slices are big at Zetti’s and they are generous with the toppings. If you can’t handle the overload of hot slop, get a chicken roll and shut the hell up.

OK, so yeah, we all like the pizza where we grew up best. But the pizza wars are between NY and Chicago. Buffalo isn’t in that competition for a reason. There I said it. Now that that’s out of the way, Zetti’s is by far the best NY style pizza in Buffalo. In fact, I’d argue that they’re better than a lot of NY pizzerias. Now, I’ve only had their pizza so I can’t vouch for the rest of the food. But if you’re looking for a good NY slice, get yourself to Zetti’s.

We got take out from the location near North Campus. I was so excited because I’ve tried different pizzas around here and I haven’t been happy with any one of them. I heard Zetti’s was good within 2 weeks of coming to Buffalo. I had to try it and when the opportunity of «Where do you want pizza from» presented itself. I had to grab it! We had a cheese and pepperoni pie. The pepperoni wasn’t the little shriveled up stuff that I see on a lot of Buffalo pizza — it was good and tasty. I don’t know what made it taste so good, but it wasn’t the hype because I’m often let down if someone tells me something is good. THIS is good. The crust is… I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like chewy, but a little crispy. My grandma would’ve loved it! :D Other than that, this is by far the best pizza that I’ve had in Buffalo!
