Mayback’s

I’ve passed this place in the plaza countless times and every time I do, I tell myself «Next time, I’m going to try there for pizza.» And of course I forget.
I finally remembered it today and got a pizza. I must say it’s delicious. I don’t like really saucy pizza, so this one was perfect for me. Cooked perfectly as well!

I’ve passed by this place for over a year, matter of fact I live around the corner. I finally decided to give it a try and the pizza was absolutely delicious, and the ham sub was great. The server greeted me when I walked in and was extremely helpful, it is also a deli and the place was clean, I highly recommend giving this place a try you will not be disappointed.

I came here through word of mouth of a friend when I used to work at HSBC. I had the hot wings which were freaking amazing!!! They were crispy, and the sauce was definitely loaded with Frank’s hotsauce or something extremely close. I really have to make it a point to go here again very soon. It’s a small shop with enough room to sit and eat your food. Actually, I believe my 1^st experience was a dine in experience. Very delicious and affordable prices.

Competitively fair prices. They have a fish fry that’s good and available everyday, love the Greek salad, big chicken fingers that are never soggy, good subs, and a decent pizza. Oh yeah and ive never had to wait for my order that ive called in, they are fast. If it’s close there is no reason to drive past it.

Looked at menu online. Called to place an order and the woman gave me a price that was significantly higher. When I picked up my food I showed her the online price, and she just said «oh that’s wrong». Maybe update your website then! Or at least honor the price. The first time I went here I was very impressed. Not anymore.

I have the fortune of living right across the street from this nifty place. I can order a pizza, and within 5 minutes of pick up, have it on the table :) they make some seriously good pies here. Like one of the best I have had in quite some time. I’ll start with the crust: perfect thickness. Not overly thick or bready. A nice thinnish (but bit super thin) crust, cooked to the perfect degree of doneness (is there anything more disappointing that soggy undercooked pizza)?! Crisp and carmelized around the edges. The sauce: very tasty, savory, not sweet. The cheese: I am curious as to what brand they use here. The cheese was so creamy, chewy, lightly browned on top. It was so good, but didn’t have a sea of grease sitting on top like you sometimes get. I didn’t have to dab at it with paper towels like I sometimes do. Man, I can’t wait to order another pizza, it was that good. Still awesome reheated the next day. They have a deli inside too, with a huge menu of subs and sandwiches, which I’m sure I’ll try one of these days. But I don’t think I could not order a pizza, it was seriously that good.

I requested to have all flat BBQ wings and they were able to accommodated me!
The employees are very helpful and friendly. Delivery guy always arrives within reasonable time. Ordering over the phone is easy & pleasant.
The cashier is very helpful on describing ingredients in several meals.
Food is fresh. Price & Portion sizes are reasonable.

Mayback I’m amazed at the way you feed me all the time. Mayback I’m amazed at the way these slices fill you. Hey. I just went here. And this is crazy. But here’s my review. So call them, Mayback?
I enjoyed this slice a lot, I liked it slightly better than the nearby Macy’s Place (not a department store), but my pizza-​companion liked the Macy’s one a little better. Both were very solid ⁴⁄₅ slices, but I’d have to try them again to see if it can go one better and become a 5. Certainly it was delicious. The pepperoni was perfect, the cheese was generous, it was a typical Buffalo slice, easy on the sauce, not too sweet, with very juicy greasy almost-​burned but delicious crust.
Buffalo is full of these little family-​owned pizza places, you could literally eat at a different one every night for 3 – 4 months, I would imagine, and still not have to leave Western NY and never have to order from a chain.
And if the Bills get their act together next year, then I Mayback them to make the play offs, but then again, I maynot.

Love getting pizza & wings here all the time. It’s my cousins FAV place. She introduced us to them when we moved to Cheektowaga 5 yrs ago. She still comes here EVERY TIME she comes home to B-​lo. Today we got subs. Yummy! Always pleased with the service and the food!

Awesome wings great pizza big sub’s not badly priced for Buffalo. There hot wings are some of the best in buffalo.

This is a great place. It looks newly remodeled and expanded. The counter staff person was very nice. We ordered a slice to eat while our sub was being made. The slice was hot and with gooey cheese. My daughter loved it. The sub came out before we even had a chance to finish it. When I got home it tasted delicious. It was very fresh. They even sell the cold cuts right there if you want them. I would definitely go back. There’s nothing like a Buffalo sub!

I LOVE this place! I order from here a few times a week and I am never disappointed. The deli meat on the subs/​salads are plentiful and very fresh tasting… I am addicted to their salads. The pizza is good (I am not much of a pizza fan in general but everyone else loves it) and the fish fry is great! Try it you won’t be disappointed.

Fast & Quick service esp with 2 lottery machines, Quick Draw is always on and the atmosphere is fun to stay and play for a while. Prices are reasonable for a small convenient store.
