Mercury Salon

I was new to the area and started going to Felicia when she was at East End. I followed her to Mercury Salon and was very glad I did! She is so friendly and professional and the salon is a quiet and relaxing environment. She always did a great job with my cut and color and was a great listener when it came to what I wanted. I highly recommend her! Would still go there today if I hadn’t relocated!

I followed Felicia from the Ellicott Square Hair Salon to East End. So I am really proud of her for opening her own business after East End closed. I have coarse hair, which can easily assume helmet shape no matter what kind of cut I get. And I don’t fuss with styling products. A wash-​n-​wear kind of customer. Felicia leaves me looking trim & professional.

Mercury Salon is run by Felicia, the other partner in East End Salon, which closed recently since Patrick moved.
I am a big fan of Felicia! She asks what you’d like to do with your hair and honestly tells you what works. She will then tell you step by step what her plan is BEFORE she cuts your hair so you know what she’s doing. Her prices are very reasonable ($ 35 for a wash and cut). She gives great advice and doesn’t overly push product (but I am completely addicted to the Milk_​Shake line she sells). Her professionalism is wonderful.
I really trust her with my hair. I’m a no fuss no muss type of person with crazy thick, wavy, and typically short hair. She was the first person I went to after getting sick of the trial and error of chains and has consistently given me great cuts that suit my needs and wants.
My only advice– call ahead!
