Very disappointing. When you’re at a bisons game and a daily deal is announced, but personnel is leading you to believe one thing, it’s one thing to be kindly redirected to the truth. However, this was not the case. When I looked for where there was a deal on labatt blue and came to the blue zone inside pettibones, I asked help from the party deck at the stadium and the hostess at pettibones prior to arrival. When I arrived and helped myself to a beer I looked for a bartender to pay, it instead resulted in being asked to leave immediately without the chance to explain why I was there. The waitress was a middle aged older white female who was extremely rude when I was composed and cooperative. I’m not the person to try to steal or expect a deal but if it’s announced I have to think so. I’m very appalled at how surly she was to me. I hope she wasn’t like that to the rest of the guests attending.

Great seating, good service, Friday Fireworks, Food was okay, but by the time we bought tickets, event parking, dinner and drinks it has becoming an expensive night out.

My work had the office after holiday party here. Location: Interesting to look at the field even though it was dark and you couldn’t see much, parking is annoying especially to pay 10 bucks ughhh Décor: The décor is cheap but it matches the price range for the place so no complaints really in that respect. The lighting is ridiculously harsh… like fluorescent office lighting. Food: It wasn’t too good, or too too bad. I would guess it matches the price per person. Drinks: Seemed to be well stocked Service: The service was very good without being intrusive at all. Plates and drinks were cleared away readily. Overall: I wouldn’t come here on my own.

I’ve been to Pettibone’s a few times for a few different kinds of reasons; pre-Sabres game buffet(good job), rehearsal dinner(another job well done), and occasionally just a drink with a view of the park. It’s a cool venue for sure — overlooking the Bisons’ minor league baseball park, you get a sense of an American summer regardless of the time of year you’re visiting. The dining room itself is spacious and clean, and the décor is appropriate for the location. Never had a complaint about the food(although most of it has been served in a «banquet style» so I’m holding it to a slightly lower standard, but I much prefer the pre-game buffet food here to Pearl Street’s. My beef with Pettibone’s is I can never know if they’re open… they don’t keep the website updated enough to be useful and there isn’t always someone there to answer the phone. You always have to have a back up in mind if you plan on just dropping in… which is annoying :-/ BUT, if you see it open, especially for a pre-game buffet, it’ll be a nice, reasonable, and tasty-enough fast meal to keep you from spending twice as much on worst tasting food inside the arena or ballpark!

Only good thing with this place is that its at the ballpark. Terrible, unfriendly service and the food was mediocre. They have decent specials(35 cent wings and cheap beers) but the wings for buffalo are a disapointment. With the location, this place could be a gold mine but no energy, service or taste.
