Pizza Bella

This place is owned by Bella from Twilight. Just down the road is Pizza Edward, and across the street is Pizza Jacob. Jacob and Edward’s Pizza spots both have street teams, helping them spread the word. I personally used to be a member of Team Jacob. What’s it to you? Are you going to suck my blood now? No? Damnit. That girl who was doing the baseball pitching in the first movie was supercute btw.
I wasn’t particularly impressed by this slice, it was average at best, it wasn’t hot, it wasn’t particularly tasty. I’ll stop in one day to see if the slices are usually better, but what I had the first time around certainly doesn’t make me want to run back and grab more.
Bear in mind though that Buffalo in general has some of the best pizza slices in the world. Absolutely amazing city for pizza.

I’m always amazed at how entering some pizza places seem like you’re going back in time to 1980 with not one thing has been updated. Is applying a fresh coat of paint really going to kill them? This place is pretty run down inside. No seating, counter and sign that looks like they gave up on even caring about 10 years ago. They didn’t even offer a take out menu.
That’s the bad news, the good news is the pizza was not bad. It’s not «great» but it has lots of toppings and was cooked well. The sauce tasted a little odd, and the mushrooms were fried (which I find odd, why not just use fresh mushrooms?) but overall it tasted like a decent pizza with good pepperoni and good crust.
