Are they vampires? I have always wondered about the people who have drawn my(or others) blood. For donation, for tests, these people have chosen to become«people who take blood» for a living. Interesting. Anyway, have been to this location a few times, and find it to be fine. Its in the University Plaza, 3500 Main street, across from… yep, the University South Campus. Parking is easy, large lot, plenty of room. You can either walk in or make an appt. We have found that walking in does just fine, they see you quickly etc. You write your name down on a list and they call the list in order, but, if you have an appt, you may get called slightly faster. But it’s a clean well organized space, there are plenty of chairs, the magazines are not too outdated, and the TV not too loud. They may have«busy times» but we have not yet experienced those. Usually its been a 5 – 10 minute wait, then you are out quickly. The blood takers(vampires) are super nice and the rooms they take you to are as well. It’s a fast and easy process. There is also a Tops, Grace Point Alliance, Zettis Pizza, M&T Bank, Amherst Movie Theater, Record Theater, Citizens Bank, McDonalds, Venus Greek & Medeteranian, Dollar Tree, China King, Jimmy Johns Gourmet Sandwiches, The UPS Store, Dots, CW Price, Game Stop, and more. Just up and down the street you can find a Dunkin Donuts or a Tim Hortons, whichever way you lean there, you cant loose. If you have to get blood taken, no reason not to do it here.
