Stopped in here to look for an Ugly Christmas Sweater for a party coming up. No luck in that department, actually nothing festive at all. The store smells like a combination of bounce sheets and mildew. Good effort with the laundry aroma, but it’s not successful. Besides the unpleasant smell, the clothing part of the store was pretty organized and clean. Everything had a hanger and was arranged by type of clothing. There were a decent amount of dresses, none that I would ever be caught wearing, but ones that I would purchase, wash three times then throw in a dress up box for my little cousins or future kids one day, however, that’s the extent of their usage for me. Large selection of children’s clothing in the back. The reason this store is only getting two stars is because of the home goods section, it’s really kind of gross, for lack of a better term. It’s messy and just gives a dirty vibe when walking through it. Ultimately the trip wasn’t a success because I thought there would be loads of Christmas sweaters or at least some holiday apparel, but there wasn’t one thing.

I stopped in here just to scope it out yesterday. It was gross. The housewares were seriously garbage. I can’t believe they try to sell that crap. I will say that some of the furniture was passable if you don’t want to spend more than $ 50 on anything. But everything is dirty! There was a section of men’s robes and pajamas that I walked by and some of the items were YELLOWED. Why??? That should be in the garbage!!! Sooooo gross. This is my conflict with shopping at thrift stores, on one hand. They are dirty and stocked with garbage. I’ve found clothing on clearance racks at regular stores that are cheaper than items here and they are brand new. Not yellowed. I know where I’m choosing to shop… And it ain’t here. On the other hand, I volunteered here when I was in high school and college and it was an experience! If you are looking to volunteer, this is an interesting place to do so.

Thrift store shopping! This IS my favorite Army — and there are some really amazing staff who work here and then some that aren’t so amazing — special shout out to Diane and Doreen who always make our trip to Sally Anne’s worth going! I cannot begin to tell you just how many amazing things we’ve found at this gem — and the parking is always good. The place might be a bit on the messy side, but dang is it fun to pick through the racks and shelves looking for stuff you just can’t find elsewhere. Seriously — I hope my 5 star rating doesn’t bring anyone else to this location because we like it for ourselves.

A large, well-stocked thrift store with ample parking. This location has a larger furniture and housewares selection than many other area Salvation Army Thrift stores. In addition, there are huge amounts of clothing to dig through – for women, men, and kids. The staff here usually seems to be right on their game, so you won’t gave trouble getting questions answered or finding someone to ring you out with your treasures.
