I’m pretty confident that this is the worst Tim Hortons in Buffalo. Unfortunately, it is the only one downtown. But not the only coffee shop luckily. I’m definitely sticking with the coffee shop at the main place mall. Anyways, there is always a constant struggle at this Tim Hortons. The workers are either cranky or dazed and confused. The person who prepared the one coffee I ordered asked what I wanted 3 times within 30 seconds, which was a small coffee, black. Not complicated lol. They must also make random drinks that people haven’t ordered since they are always calling something out like 5 times and no one responds.

This Tim Hortons and the people who hang out around it are very interesting. I can sit here for hours just watching crazy stuff all day long, but I can’t because I have to go back to work. The staff here are usually quick, nice, and sometimes calls you«boss man» which I’m not sure if he was making fun of me or thought of me as a superior which I’m not. Once, I watched a guy walking back and forth outside in front of the window and I kept watching him because I can tell he was about to do something. Sure enough, he was saving up a lot of saliva in his mouth and spit on the wind then ran away. Everyone was grossed out but I thought it was awesome and couldn’t wait to tell someone what I just witnessed. Super awesome for entertainment! Highly recommended!

The woman at this place needs to be fired! We ordered one iced coffee and she was condescending, mocked us and interrupted us to yell at another employee. Disgusting. The whole order took less than 30 seconds and she managed to be more insulting than anyone I’ve ever come across.

If it were featured in American History X it’d be Tim(Edward) Nortons. Whereas if they served Chicken with ham and cheese inside, it’d be Tim Cordons(Bleu). Another awful Hortons, churning out masses of coffee to the downtown work crowd, with a side of nasty attitude, and yet they can’t even get the coffee right. Lukewarm, not sweet enough and not wilky enough. So what is up with that. I feel bad for the downtown Hortons-drinkers, between this iffy location and the awful one in the bus station. As far as I’m concerned they both have massive improvements to make to be on par with the better locations in town, and they both score a 1 from me. Chain info: Canadian coffee chain that is literally all over Buffalo, where I always order the 4&4 which you should try… it’s very milky and very sweet and very delicious. It is for a good friend, but I always have some of it first(since I’m usually paying for it these days) and then judge it compared to all the other locations in town. And if you come here after Spin class(which is a bad idea, really), then it’s Spin Hortons. And since they often have FOX News on Hortons TVs, maybe we’ll just call it Spin Hortons anyway.

As far as Tim’s go, this is an okay Tim’s. I’ve always been fine with their speed and they haven’t ever messed up my order. They work with a smooth efficiency, even with an ever changing team, in a tiny space which gets a lot of business in mornings and at lunch time. They’re pretty consistent and on the ball compared to other Tim’s I’ve been to, so they are definitely A-OK.

This is the worst Tim Hortons in the entire chain. The lines are always out the door because the staff stands around talking and not doing anything productive. They’re always out of plain bagels, and twice they’ve toasted my bagel in a panini press, burning it both times. The hot chocolate machine usually spits out chocolatey water. You have to stand in line for more than fifteen minutes to get anything. If this wasn’t the closest decent coffee to my office I’d never set foot in this location again.

This is the worst Tim Hortons that exists. Anywhere. Period. I have called corporate and complained about a restaurant/service once in my life(literally), and it was about this Tim Hortons. I used to work at the CVS across the street from this place and as a result was unfortunately subjected to this ‘coffee shop’. Workers can’t speak English/just got released from the holding center/nuclear reactor accident/you name it. The people hanging out in the restaurant are invariably junkies or criminally ambiguous street people. They will tell you that basically nothing on the menu is available for whatever BS reason they come up with that day. They will screw up your order. This Tim Hortons truly and honestly lowers my faith in humanity. Please, for the love of God, close this crap hole.

The food and coffee is not bad, but the service is horrible. They were out of smile cookies the entire week the proceeds were being donated. One day I ended up waiting over 15 min for a bagel with no apology. Every time I get a donut, it’s stale. The workers are very slow, they are clearly annoyed being there. I was in line at the register and there was one point where a customer said«is the register even open» because everyone in line had been waiting a while with no service. One day I can get lemon for my tea, the next day they«don’t offer lemon.» It’s unfortunate that this is a really good location, but is not worth the wait and horrible service. I have staring making my own coffee and bagels.

Worst coffee shop ever. I came in here for food because Downtown Buffalo is sincerely lacking in places to eat on a Sunday morning. Even Subway was closed! So I came in here with my partner and the only thing vegetarian he could eat was macaroni and cheese. Wow! The mac tasted like Easy Mac of course, which is not bad, not good, but it’s edible. I don’t understand why they didn’t offer the smoothies. I saw it on the menu, but the cashier said they didn’t offer it at that time. What’s up with that? I also asked the cashier what the combo was, and the cashier said that you received a donut and a drink. That sounded good so I got the mac and cheese combo with a donut and a tea latte. I looked at my bill, and the cost did not add up with the cost on the menu. Either the cashier didn’t know what she was talking about and the combo doesn’t come with a drink and a donut, or she imputed in 3 mac and cheeses instead of two. Either way, I paid about $ 3 extra. Whatever, it wasn’t worth the time to argue $ 3. There was a long line and I really didn’t want to talk to the cashier again that kept sighing and looked like she hated her job. Oh and to put icing on the cake, the tea latte was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like dirty hot water. I had to dump it after a few sips. What a waste! And I let that thing steep for 5 minutes, so it’s not that. I don’t understand… Coffee Culture does the same thing with their tea, but how do you mess up tea??? I’m never coming here again, and if it burned to the ground tomorrow(assuming no one was injured) I couldn’t be happier. What a horrible place!
