Stopped here to grab a sandwich before an appointment. I had Tim Horton’s or McDonald’s to choose from so I was preparing myself for the worse as I really don’t like eating fast food. Drive-thru service was fast and surprisingly friendly. As I was pulling up I saw that there were three cars in front of me but it took maybe two minutes for me to place my order. I was really happy the line was moving along so quickly. I ordered a Ham and Swiss on a wheat roll(normally comes with a white roll and you have to specify wheat) with lettuce and tomato and all the ingredients were amazingly fresh. The lettuce and tomato were cold and crisp, the cold cuts were as good as I expected for a Tim Horton’s restaurant and the roll, the roll was soft, fresh, absolutely perfect, really made the sandwich. I was really happy about choosing Tim Horton’s over McDonalds! I also added ten Timbit’s to my order to share with my friend and the donuts were fresh as well. It was about 5pm, I kind of expected the donuts to be 5pm stale and they weren’t. Bravo for this Tim Horton’s and thank you.

Bailey and Clinton location. If Mitt Romney owned these, it would be Mitt Horton’s, which would sound a little German. Did you know German-American is the number one ethnic group in North America? It’s true. Ask Herr Arnold Brownschweiger the Gubernator. Not to be confused with the Gubernador, the best fish taco out of any girl I know. Wait I meant the best fish taco in San Diego. Sorry. One track mind sometimes. So anyway, if Mitt Romney did own a TH it would not be this one. This one is in, what some people would describe as «da ghetto, yo.» But it’s not really, it’s sort of halfway between the Polish confines of Kaisertown, the Irish confines of South Buffalo, the African-American confines of Broadway & Bailey, and the KKK confines of Lovejoy. Very interesting location. All I know about this one is that I have ordered ONE coffee here ONE time and it has been marvelous. They didn’t have any chicken sandwiches and they are a dirty evil corporate chain, so they lose a star. But I don’t like their food anyway — this order was for someone else. The 4&4 was hot and perfect, sort of like Heather Moss, who I thought I saw in Big Lots earlier this same evening, but it turned out to be her clone.(Swoon) They also let me use their bathroom without any issues, which isn’t always the case. In other news, I am p***ed off at myself because I can’t f***ing spell f***ing marvelous. But it could be f***ing worse. At least I don’t f***ing swear in my god d*** reviews right? Or use teenage txt spk. Amirite? Kthxbye.

I had a gift card for $ 5 and couldn’t decide what to do for lunch anyway, so I figured I would use the gift card and get myself lunch at Timmy Ho’s, kind of just wish I spent my actual money elsewhere. What I got was their turkey grilled panini and it was not good. Consisted of this thin sliced deli turkey, with some barely melted cheese, a couple pieces of sliced tomato on somewhat warm bread w/chipotle mayo. Should barely be able to call this food let alone a panini. Then seriously how do people like their coffee so much? I don’t understand the lines in the morning around Tim Horton’s on my commute to work. There are 3 in less than 1.5 miles from each other on Bailey at Seneca, then Clinton then William St. they always slow down traffic with people turning in and out and for what, basically a lousy cup of coffee, hidden by the flavor of fake dairy creamer and some sugar? I’m finishing my cup(black) and really its no better than any Gas station coffee I had over my lifetime. I guess they still have some value in producing average bagels and doughnuts, but I barely eat either as just way to much simple carbs. I used to like Timmy Ho’s back in the day but as they keep expanding quality seems to have gone down and as of now I don’t understand Buffalo’s fascination with the place.
