TJ MAXX

Located near Wegmans in Blasdel is this fairly large TJ Maxx. Parking was a disaster, but I was there on a Sat to be fair.
I came here only because I was passing by on my way somewhere else, but of course had to check out the TJs. It has a large women’s clothing section, a small shoe section, and an ok sized home section. I would not come out of my way to come here, but happy to visit if passing by again.

All small ledium and large, very little extra large. Selection is not great either. Try another TJ Maxx somewhere else or find out what day they get stock.

As another Unilocaler has stated NOT every TJ MAXX is the same. This one always seems to be picked over however sometimes you can find a gem on a rare occasion… which is why i always try again and have hope when I visit this particular store.
The organization of the store is a bit off. For example the house wares section is not apparent. (It’s off to the far right in another big warehouse room). And with lack of organization the store also lacks cleanliness compared to other TJ MAXX stores… in general everything feels outdated and kind of dirty.
Unilocalers who like a hunt for a gem and don’t mind bargain stores then this may be the store for you!

TJ Maxx, and Marshall’s stores are basically where I shop now for my modern clothes. This TJ Maxx is usually my haunt for outdoors and activewear. Think Columbia, Kyodan, Underarmour etc. brands for skiing, yogaing, hiking etc. This store seems to get more of this type of stuff than the other ones I haunt. Oops I gave my secret away!
I actually like the fact that this one isn’t renovated, it has a charm that I like!

Well — in case you didn’t know this — NOT every TJ MAXX is the same. This one has proven to disappoint time and time again.
From the organization of the store to how things are marked and displayed — this store fails me every time.
Clearance items aren’t marked down all that much compared to any other TJM and not all clearance items even have a sign indicating clearance. Why am I stuck on clearance — because I like a bargain!
Cleanliness of the store is ok, parking is great and like all stores your credit card is gladly accepted, this store doesn’t even push to get a TJM credit card!
Overall — I’m unsure why we keep stopping in at this place and why it’s still open!

When I worked in corporate America I was very particular about my attire. My clothing mainstays were Sym’s (RIP) and TJ’s. I now still toil daily however my clothing needs are of a lesser quality for the work part of my life.
I have not been to this TJ’s in about a year since I did not need to replenish or refresh my casual garb (read «I don’t have a social life» here). Stopped in this AM and blew serious cash on good quality clothing.
I am very pleased with the overall selection. Picked up some lovely Holiday gifts, a pair of Northface boots for my daughter ($ 70.00) and some high quality tops for very little money. I also scored a Columbia for my grand-​daughter for $ 13.00. Spent a small fortune but since I don’t do this often, it was money well spent.
I cut myself off because I know that a new shipment will soon be arriving for my perusal.
