Once Upon a Child

Was there for the first time today and let me tell you… my experience was great! The girls working were so awesome and nice. We even got help carrying in our totes. The payout was good and the store is super organized and on top of that it smelled really nice. Will be back for sure.

This location is super clean and the staff is very friendly! They have a wide selection of very nice clothing and toys, accessories etc. the store was bright and fresh smelling and very organized! They have this awesome text club you can enter to get money off your first visit and then they send out VIP offers!

So this place buys your used clothing and then resells it. I took in a bunch of my daughters clothing she no long used. Included in this lot of clothing was 2 pairs of brand new shorts from penny’s with tags still on them. I bought them at the end of last summer for this summer thinking my daughter would be able to fit into them but she grew faster then I had thought. Anyhow after the worker went through my clothing she gave back what she didn’t want to purchase telling me that the items she didn’t purchased were overused. She gave me back the two pairs of shorts with tags the shorts were brand-​new how in the heck are they overused? If she didn’t think the shorts where right for her store she should have told me that! They have tons of baby items but very little in bigger kid clothing. I left with a little over $ 20 in my hand for a bag of clothing they did want. Sad that they didn’t buy items that where perfect, I have them on ebay now. Guess this place is hit or miss.

I seriously cannot believe I had not heard about this place until the other day! I cannot begin to tell you how many times I’ve been in this plaza and not visited «Once Upon a Child». This store is truly amazing! It’s like the high end thrift store shopping at amazing prices!
When you first start looking around this store — you might think everything is new, but it’s not. I have never seen this many perfect children’s clothing at these prices in my entire lifetime and trust me — I shop a lot!
If you have a limited budget or you are just plain smart and need some children’s clothing — size new born to 16 — this is a place you need to check out. Though the larger the sizes the less selection — it’s a must stop from baby to perhaps size 6 — though I found plenty for my grandson size 8!
From books, to games to clothing and furniture — I couldn’t believe the prices and how clean and organized everything was.
My DIL has told my wife and I that we can’t buy more clothes because my grandson already has too many, but this store puts an end to that. Not only do they sell slightly used children’s clothing at extremely low prices — I’m talking Yard Sale prices and sometimes less — they also will buy slightly used children’s clothing, toys, books, footwear and baby gear — giving you some CASH back in your hand!
This is a win win for everyone and I’m sure it will become one of our normal stops on the shopping trips — I will probably be the «Duke» of «Once Upon a Child»!
Clean, friendly, organized, priced right store — you just can’t beat it!
