Not a good place to work. The store manager in this location is not accommodating at all, her name is Laurie. she has this very strong personality which is a good quality for a manager but she is just abrasive and not accommodating at all. There are two younger assistants but the ones that they just hired is the same thing. The energy with co workers, especially the managers in this store is not a good vibe at all.(Theresa is nice). Managers be good to your associates, if you’re good with people under you, you will not have this kind of review. To Laurie B and your assistants read this quote from Richard Branson — «clients do not come first, employees come first, if you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients»

For career-minded, professional women who are shopping for quality clothing to wear at work that won’t break the bank, Ann Taylor is one of the best stores. Every single Ann Taylor store I have ever visited has been neat and well-organized, and the one at the Mall of Georgia is no exception. If there’s a sale going on, they’ll have a sign set up right outside the entrance to the store. To be completely honest, the sale prices at Ann Taylor are no longer all that cheap, especially when compared to the prices of similar merchandise at the Ann Taylor Factory Stores. For example, a lot of their blouses cost at least $ 40, and the sales don’t make them a whole lot cheaper. However, I can see how many women would still find the prices of the clothing reasonable because of their good quality. This particular Ann Taylor store is kind of small, but there’s still a Petites section for short women like myself. Although I appreciate the fact that Ann Taylor stores devote a section of their stores to Petite clothing, the quantity of each size is very limited. The employees here are generally indifferent. They’re not rude but they don’t go out of their way to be friendly, either. If you have questions or are looking for a particular size for something, you will get an answer/help, but not necessarily with a smile or enthusiasm. Overall, Ann Taylor in the Mall of Georgia gets 3.5 stars for their nice, professional women’s clothing and clean, organized store environment. Now that I no longer live super close to the Mall of Georgia, it will probably be a while before I return. Moreover, I prefer the Ann Taylor Factory Store at the North Georgia Premium Outlets and will definitely return to that store a lot sooner than this one. [Review 275 of 366]
