Bonefish Grill

2 star service.. .the day before Valentines me and my lady had reservations at 6:45pm.. .It was now 7:20 and we stopped to ask the manager what time we would be seated. He said it shows you have 12 minutes to seating. So we continued to stand there waiting. About after 20 minutes of standing the we stopped him again to see and this time he said a 2 hour wait. We was enraged and to say the least people were getting seated who had reservations after we did… Finally we were about to walk out and he said we are going to find you a seat. After seating us we waited for our service… After ordering our drinks we had calamari for an appetizer which was great, and I had grilled pecan trout with parmesian sauce.. .I got my plate and was not happy. The trout was crusty as it had been deep fried and it was drizzling grease. To say the least if I had ordered a deep fried trout that would have been fine, but to disappoint my taste buds with this and no hint of pecans or parmesian made my meal so undelightful. I know you had a rush that night but at least get the orders right..

Finally no wait and was able to see what Bone Fish was all about. Nice place food was good I said good because maybe I should not have tried steak. Bang Bang Shrimp and Calamari was on point. Crab Cake was delicious even though it was a dollop. And the mixed drinks were delicious. Sharif provided top notch service and will ask for him on our next visit.

Three stars for service, and the excessive use of truffle. Service first:
Waitress was delayed because she «working on some dishes»; that’s fine. She was very nice and answered a few questions, but didn’t seem as knowledgeable. When asked about some of the menu items, she could only respond with «I like that one». Drinks came right away, and then her friends sat down at one of the high tops next our table. While her friends were there, she was attentive and still very nice, however, when I’m out to dinner or on a date, I don’t want to hear about how my waitress was responsible for a horrible night of drinking and causing her friend to kiss some guy, who from the sounds of it, «would have been great if he was any good». Thanks for sharing! Once her friends left, she disappeared until it was time to clear the table. Which, leads me to the truffle.
I ordered one of the specials that was supposed to be topped with feta, onion, and truffle. Thankfully, the swordfish came un topped. When I asked the waitress, she promptly brought out the toppings. I put a little on a piece I cut off and was sorry that I did… I’ve had truffle before, and this was bitter, sour, and left the worst after taste. I also got the truffle Mac and cheese, and it was worse! You could smell the bitter/​sour truffle before you took a bite, and no amount of cheese or pasta could save it. After only two bites each, the boyfriend and I put it to the side.
Bonefish is a random and rare visit, and now I remember why… not going to say I won’t be back, but it won’t be soon.

Decent place for a drink or apps but the service is somewhere between lousy and ok and the entrees are small and WAY overpriced for what you receive. I ordered the sea bass and chose the large portion in an attempt to avoid a few carbs. The piece of fish was flavorless and no more than 2 – 3 ounces. Small enough that I questioned the order and was told that it was in fact the large portion. So I guess that’s the key to profit here, don’t raise your prices, shrink your portions. The manager immediately offered to bring me another piece but if this is your offer that’s what matters. I just wanted to know if I continue to eat at bonefish or not, the answer for me is no. Never again. I hate to feel like I was taken advantage of and that’s how this felt. Later.

Service was slow. The table next to us turned 3 times while we were there. That’s obnoxious and very stressful to notice when paying a premium price. I wish we had the server that cared tonight. First dinner out for my wife since her double mastectomy 3 weeks ago. Wanted special. Got stressful.

I went here for the office Christmas party and we were greeted and seated right away on a Saturday night. The staff was very attentive and helpful in our service and choices. The boom boom shrimp was awesome and I would definitely recommend it. I enjoyed my meal but the high point of the night were the appetizers and drinks. Overall a great experience.

Nice quaint seafood restaurant with nice workers. We were over 1 HR late for reserved dinner. Although we were late, we were told wait would be 20 – 25 minutes, but it was like 10 minutes. Manager seated us. My order contained shrimps & scampi. It had the nice grill taste but minus the garlic and salt. Hope to go back to Alexandria, VA where the food is seasoned in garlic, oil and salt. My blueberry smash was fine too. The crab cakes were fine. I didn’t like the sauce. My friend enjoyed the other crab cake and devoured it. I’m waiting for Wednesday or the $ 6 bang bang shrimp. I didn’t look at the special until 5 minutes ago. Next time I will check for location specials. Bathroom was cleaned. We were there less than 2 hours. Nice spot to meet up with old friend.

My son’s homecoming group ate dinner here Saturday 10/​25/​2015, and several of us parents ate dinner here as well. WOW! The food was spectacular. The Bang Bang Shrimp are incredible! Every couple at our table ordered one and loved it. I had the Steak and Crab cake dinner with Au Gratin Potatoes and it was fantastic. Service was very prompt even for a large group on a Saturday night in a high traffic area like this one. We’ll be back!

Easily my favorite seafood restaurant. The fried shrimp appetizer was outrageously good. I got the shrimp and scallops and have been dying to eat them again ever since we came. The scallops were melt in your mouth deliciousness :)

I can’t believe there are good reviews about this place. Steak wasn’t chewable, dry overcooked, flat and mashed potatoes were instant, not fresh, my husbands fish dry overcooked. The only thing good here is the bang bang shrimp which you can get at Olive Garden or Bahama breeze by a different name. I would prefer those places or Cheesecake Factory over this place any day. Service is good, food awful!
DO NOT ORDER STEAK! Order fish at least you can chew it, sure it’s dry.

What a terrible meal. Bonefish Grill used to be so much better. Last night our waitress had an attitude and it was obvious she wanted to be somewhere else, the food came out cold and after we sent it back it came out colder! Seriously!!! The draft beer was not ice cold and since when does a «regular» margarita have orange juice in it? Just an overall bad meal and experience. Would not go back. Way to many other good seafood restaurants in North Atlanta!

Food was great. Server was Eric, he was wonderful. Restaurant was clean and employees appeared happy with their jobs. I WILL BE BACK!

First of all, reservations were 25 minutes late. The manager came out and apologized and offered complimentary appetizers. «They will be waiting for you by the time you are seated.» After 35 minutes they finally arrived. The server ignored my request for separate checks. Drink order took extra time to get. Order in. Let’s see how long it takes to get food. Stay tuned… it is now 8:40 and food finally arrives, but wait, there’s no place to place it because appetizer dishes haven’t been removed. So far, service has been sub-​par. The entrees were artfully presented. My wife had the grilled shrimp and scallops, I had the spicy ahi tuna bowl. She complained the scallops were overlooked and rubbery. Oddly the server didn’t ask me how I wanted my tuna cooked. I prefer rare, but was served medium. I expected more skilled and attentive service, but alas, it didn’t exist this visit.

Food was excellent. My husband and I enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, then he had the tilapia, and I had the cilantro lime shrimp salad. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. We had Jenna F as a server, she was impeccably rude. Started by interrupting our conversation by talking above us with an attitude. Sorry honey, you are not the most important part of our day/​evening. My husband was ready to get up and leave after her introduction. I do hope management reviews this. Not a terrible restaurant, I like much of their food and I LOVE their Bang Bang shrimp (worth going there alone). I have had a few bad experiences with food being served at room temperature and waited incredibly long times without notice. I keep wanting to go back for Bang Bang but it’s hard to convince my wife to go there and wait that long when there are so many other good choices in the area.

This is a great standby. No matter who I take here, they will find something to eat and have a good time. Safe for a dinner outing with customers you are not familiar with. I have never been disappointed with BF. I always get the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer, and I never get tired of it. Lots of choices for entrees. Fish is always a good choice. Surprisingly, a good wine selection and a few good wine from which to choose. Bön appetite!

Sat at the bar on a Tuesday night, bartender was so slow and had an attitude, I don’t think there was any Vodka in my martini, not sure what her name was but was transferred from St. Pete, FL bad taste in my mouth after waiting to use my Mothers Day gift card

This was my first time here. I came with my bf and his parents who have been here before. My bf hadn’t been here in a very long time. The décor, atmosphere, and service were great.
I will go straight into talking about the food. As raved by previous reviewers, the bang bang shrimp was great along with the bread. My bf did mention that the shrimps seem A LOT smaller than he had years ago.
The bf’s mother got the seared ahi tuna sashimi appetizer as her entrée. she loved it.
The bf’s dad got one of the new specials; the shrimp and scallop firepot which is spicy Latin flavored grilled shrimp and scallops over vegetables and potatoes. He was not a fan of it because of how it was sold to him versus how it actually came out.
The bf had the lamb chops special which were terrible. They were supposed to be medium rare and came out medium. Luckily it was still tender. The downfall were the two sides. Their in season veggies; sugar snap peas were raw and they had some kind of small fried baked potatoes that were hard and bland.
I had ordered the pecan Parmesan crusted rainbow trout with the same raw sugar snap peas and dry undercooked rice. The fish was very bland and much needed salt.

I really like Bonefish Grill! Today is Wednesday, an excellent day to go to Bonefish since today is Bang Bang Wednesday. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer is easily Bonefish’s most popular dish. This dish is delicious!!! The shrimp is crunchy and the sauce is tangy and spicy! The flatbread is delicious too!
A new item for fall is the Fresh AppleTini! This drink is delicious. It is made by soaking apples in Vodka for 3 days! It also has a cinnamon rim. Overall, it’s a nice, strong drink.
