Aweful food… prices are high. They lost their way. Service is okay at best. Not like the old days growing up on Red Lobster

Food was pretty good. Not my first choice for seafood but it was filling! Great service until I got the check. She left a pencil in the book! Scratching my head like really? I just used my pen.

I was quite impressed with the décor and customer service. The crab legs and the rest of the meal was delicious. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I think the prices are too high for what you get. $ 28 for grouper? Hmmmm… Otherwise it was a great experience.

Ordered the new Wood-grilled shrimp tacos with grilled zucchini instead of rice and side of tomato mozzarella salad bowl for lunch. The tomato mozzarella caprese salad was cut in small bite sized bits and tasted very delicious. The«wood-grilled» tacos, however, the only visible grill marks were on the tortilla shells yet barely ANY on the shrimp itself. The shells had flavor while the shrimp tasted barely cooked and had no seasoning. I was told that the shrimps cook fast and has tendency to fall through the grate so that is why the shrimps didn’t get the wood-grill marks I was expecting. If you are not going to give the customer wood-grilled shrimp, then why have it listed on the menu? I had eaten grilled wooden skewered shrimp at Red Lobster before and these shrimp looked nothing like that. I ate one taco and some zucchinis and took the rest home for dinner later. *Got home and compared the menu from Red Lobster website to what I was served at the restaurant. Menu states: golden tortillas stuffed with either fresh tilapia or shrimp, then topped with slaw, jalapeño ranch, house-made pico de gallo and cilantro. Well, it was clear that Red Lobster had taken the short cut route as I didn’t get the pico de gallo either only diced tomatoes. Oh well. I’ll stick with Boneheads for my grilled seafood needs.

Wanted to bring my reviews updated and still have to say«my» experiences here have been quite good. I still come mostly with my son when we want a lobster fix. We generally splurge and its not that often as we don’t like hitting the mall area on weekend nights, but our trick is the same. If there is a wait, check the bar. If you can eat there an don’t mind the bar, there have always been 2 bartenders and great service, and we have plenty of room to sit and bring on the food. The appetizer are the rolls. Garlic cheese rolls, classic, watch how many you eat. Then as we are skipping the platters, we get the rock lobster tail and 1 ½ lbs of snow crab. Its not cheap, but a lot of meat and it has a potato or veggies to compliment and its just a true meaning of the flavors of the lobster and crab and enjoying both and seeing there really is a difference. I’ve always had good portions, good service, and good drinks from the bar. Since I’m flexible to sit at the bar, skip the crowd(I have left before when the bar was full and a 1 hr wait), but don’t complain as crowd is always unpredictable. The platters have a ton of food, a bit too much for me for a fried platter but I could eat through one. I believe strongly that Red Lobsters vary based on management and chefs. This one to me so far has good management, good chef, they build a good team of beertenders and servers. Servers can be hit and miss I know, but I’ve been lucky! I recommend this location. Don’t come at 7pm on Sat with no call in and you will enjoy it.

This location is always great. Took a bit longer than expected to get a table considering the amount of customers in store-but once we were seated the service was great. Waitress was attentive enough to keep our drinks refilled and ask questions without being over bearing or intrusive-like a drink refill ninja. Food was great, decent portion size for price. I have a shellfish allergy and requested my food be kept seperate from others in our party. Waitress and cooking staff clearly took it seriously which is always worth extra points in my opinion. Red Lobster at the Mall of Georgia is a great choice for both lunch and dinner.

So… I would never recommend coming here on my own because I just don’t like the restaurant in the few visits I had growing up. I always recall the taste and quality of the seafood being disappointing even though I always liked seafood. The cheese biscuits have always been good, but outside of that I have been pretty disappointing. Having come to this location a few times for meetings or gatherings which I had no say in locations. Salads with awful looking lettuce, over seasoned/salty fish and cold and then reheated shrimp. The bathrooms were dirty like a pub and the servers were pretty generic friendly. I would not return to this location and certainly not pick the chain as something I would ever pick to go to eat seafood or anything else.

I stopped there twice during my trip to Atlanta since my hotel was next door. I’ve never been a Red Lobster fan but since I started using Unilocal I figured I’d do my part in reporting. The first night(last night) I went there to have a couple of cocktails. I ordered the chips and lobster dip. Considering that this is a chain restaurant it was«okay». The female African American bartender was a complete joy. She was generous in her pours of my bourbon, polite and upbeat. I went there the next night(tonight) and there was a different bartender. A young 20 something white girl. She seemed to be uptight and full of attitude. She was quite rude to a polite African American man who walked in, sat at the bar and requested his pickup carry out order. Apparently he went to the wrong location. She was quite rude and sarcastic when saying«I didn’t receive any carry out request». I felt she made the patron feel like a jerk rather than being kind and apologetic for him. Clearly that Millennial needs a different job or a course in customer politeness. Would I come back here… Probably just by hotel stranded default.

I normally like Red Lobster, but the one on Buford drive I was totally dissatisfied. The salad was very small and salad dress was very watery. The cheddar bay biscuits where hard and old.

I tend to only go to Red Lobster when the all you can eat shrimp so 1 or 2 times a year, but we always come to this location. Service is always good and friendly, and the food is alway consistant and today was no different. It was a wonderful lunch and all the shrimp selections for endless shrimp are good. Cheddar bay biscuits as always awsome.

I recently moved to New York and I used to live in Georgia. My family and I would go to Red Lobster very often and it was my favorite restaurant. I absolutely loved the food and the service they provided. It is one of the things I will miss most.

Our food was cold, never got a kids menu(i had too look it up online), had to ask for a steak knife and crab leg crackers twice… our waitress never bussed our table at all… we where offered a free desert to make up for a very cold entrée… wasn’t worth it. When you pay 25 $ a plate for crappy cold food you should at least get good service. Tipped 12%… should have tipped nothing. WILLNEVERRETURN.

I believe over the years, I’ve built up this chain restaurant something it’s not. I have always wanted to go eat at Red Lobster and my boyfriend decided to take me after being stuck in the Mall of Georgia traffic near Christmas time. I was excited however, felt very disappointed in the truth of the food here. The bread was too dry and plain and I couldn’t find a reason to eat more than one. My boyfriend ordered a piña colada and the lobster dip and chip appetizer. We did the pick 3 combo, with the coconut shrimp, Alfredo shrimp, and the salmon. The lobster dip and piña colada was the best part. With the piña colada, you can barely taste the alcohol and it was just a refreshing taste. The lobster dip was divine to the point my boyfriend and I were fighting over it. When our main course came out, I was disappointed to find my salmon was just a tiny little piece that almost got lost in the coconut shrimp. It was also too dry for my tastes, has to drown it in Alfredo to eat it. For the shrimp Alfredo, good but nothing special there. Just your typical dish you could get anywhere or make at home honestly. The coconut shrimp was too sweet for me. I didn’t find anything spectacular with it. After one bite, I gave it back to my boyfriend. I would not return because I didn’t enjoy the food and I didn’t find much on their menu to like to begin with. However, I will point out that they have one of the best customer services I’ve seen in a while. Our server was Valencia and probably one of the sweetest I’ve seen. It was her I can say I was brought into the holiday spirit. Though she was busy, another server,(ruby her name I believe) was just as nice in bringing out our food and helping us.

No complaints here! Recieved our buzzer for a 30 min wait. It lit up about 25min in… It was packed Busy staff working all around us. Our server Will was awesome! Carter seated us in a spot near the bar. Food was hot, biscuits kinda dry. Came for lobster fest, those dang commercials! Enjoyed our Friday night dinner at Red lobsta!

This is a delayed review but my feelings are still the same. I had one of the best experiences at Red Lobster EVER!!! Both Orin T. and I went to this location for a special Lobsterfest promotion event. The customer service was beyond incredible. I mean every single person went over and above to ensure we had an amazing time. I would return to Red Lobster just for the staff. Seriously, they are knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing, and make wonderful recommendations. We were able to try so many dishes but some of my favorites were the lobster pizza and the sweet chili shrimp. The next time I return to Red Lobster, please order these two items and you will leave the restaurant happy. Other surprising items were some of the side dishes: I really enjoyed the vegetables and the rice that was served with the lobster. Last but not least, the drinks were amazing as well! Once again, please visit this Red Lobster and support this amazing business. Make a day trip out of it and visit the Mall of GA and have lunch or dinner at Red Lobster. Its totally worth it! I can’t wait to return and have another amazing meal there. This location has definitely earned all 5 stars and I would give it 6 stars if there was an option to do so!

Normally chain restaurants will not get a 5 star review but this particular Red Lobster does! This was for an Elite event. The customer service at this location it the best of the best. I have never seen the entire staff, from the cook, to the server, to the hostess, to the manager all work in harmony. They were just so attentive and came over to assist even we even LOOKED like we had a question. Tanya was the server for us and she always helped us with any questions and concerns. She was AMAZING! Now, I know what you’re thinking. It was an Elite event, they are going to pull out all the stops. Not true! Believe it or not, even at Elite events, servers are never this much in sync and working 100% as a team. This Red Lobster does! I’m going to start off by saying LobsterFest is amazing and worth every penny. If you havent tried LobsterFest before. DOIT! FORGETREADINGTHERESTOFTHEREVIEW! GONOW! Ok, so you decided to read the rest of the review. sure sure I’ll give you the details. Let’s start with drinks. The LobsterRita is HUGE. It’s the size of 3? margaritas and DELICIOUS. Highly recommended. Any flavor is great. Caramel Appletini and a Bahama Mama Daiquiri which were both verrrrrrrrrrry tasty. We started off with the Stuffed Mushrooms, Sweet Chili Shrimp, and Lobster Pizza as appetizers. The Sweet Chili Shrimp definitely had a kick. Has a bit of spice to it — if you like spicy and sweet then this is for you. Lobster Pizza was not too bad. Not the best dish but still worth a shot There were so many good entrees that we were able to taste. I would say my favorite was the Dueling Lobster Tails. One had crab and seafood stuffing, the other was topped with shrimp and garlic sauce. Both very flavorful and very delicious. Check out the #BestLobsterFest while you can!

Lobster fest is absolutely amazing! I went to Red Lobster this week for a Unilocal Elite event and it was the best Unilocal event I have ever been to so far! From the food to the service, the entire night was simply spectacular! I honestly haven’t been to a Red Lobster in about 6 months and didn’t have the best impression at that time because I just saw it as another chain restaurant. This experience completely changed my mind! We started off with the Stuffed Mushrooms, Sweet Chili Shrimp, and Lobster Pizza as appetizers. The Sweet Chili Shrimp definitely had a kick and the Lobster Pizza was a little bland but I knew the main course would be 100x better. I must admit they were pretty good but I had to save room for the main course! I also had a Caramel Appletini and a Bahama Mama Daiquiri which were both extremely flavorful and out of this world! Of course, with their big Lobsterfest promotion I had to try a little bit of everything! Honestly the best part of the experience was the Customer Service! We were served by 4 – 5 servers and I seriously thought they must have pulled the best servers in the region just for this Elite event but turns out they all worked in the same restaurant in Buford! I was shocked! Tanya was the one helping us the most and she was amazing! She suggested the best drinks and they really were the best drinks! Props to Tanya for sure! So the 1st entrée came out which was Lobster in Paradise — Lobster tail with a skewer of Shrimp. YUM! The Surf and Turf was sooooo good! I like my Steak well done and the waiter actually got one made just for me! Yes, I felt special! My favorite was the Dueling Lobster Tails in a garlic sauce with little shrimps! It was my favorite! The Bar Harbor Lobster bake was just ok since I don’t really like mussels and it had a load of pasta but I recommend it for people looking for a steamed seafood-type dish. Everything was absolutely amazing! Definitely check out Lobster fest at Red Lobster! You will not be disappointed!

DOYOUUNDERSTANDTHEWORDSTHATARECOMINGOUTOFMYMOUTH?!? –In my Chris Tucker(Rush Hour) voice. My mouth is watering as I type up this review and think back to the experience I had yesterday. I went to this Red Lobster for their Lobster fest kick off and when I tell you… First I have to start by talking about the customer service. Everyone there from the hostess to the servers to the chef was welcoming and friendly. They were just so attentive and came over to assist even we even LOOKED like we had a question. Matt was our main server and he was on point! He gave great drink recommendations and I am glad I trusted him because it worked out for both drinks I tasted. I had a peach Lobsterita and it was very tasty. The flavor was tasty and there was just the right amount of alcohol. The Malibu hurricane was great too! Now onto the food: The Dueling Lobster tails were sooo delicious. There was a battle between each side of the tails and I think I liked the one with the crab and seafood stuffing better. The other side was topped with shrimp and garlic sauce. They were both very flavorful though. We also had the Lobster in Paradise. I think that was one of my favorites. It had a lobster tail fried in their coconut batter(I assume it’s the same one as their coconut shrimp batter. I gave some to my co-worker the next day and she LOVEDIT). There was also some tasty grilled shrimp on a skewer and lobster and shrimp bake. YUMMM. One of my favorite treats of the evening was the sweet and spicy shrimp. It started off sweet and then the spicy side snuck out and karate chopped me in the neck, just like I like it. Right up my alley. I’m not a big steak fan but the surf and turf was enjoyable! Overall, everything on the menu that we tried was amazing! I will definitely be back. I don’t live in the area but I will return the next time I go up north to the outlets or the mall of GA. I definitely recommend you check out #bestLobsterFest while it’s happening. You will not be disappointed.
