Came in with my friends last week a heavyset fellow with glasses was working a friend of mine asked about a sword that he had seen in store just a week or two prior though I understand it might have gotten a little annoying with my friend asking about it twice because he was sure her seen it there the worker appeared to get irritated with him having an attitude when speaking to him. They have punchcards if no one knew I didn’t they’re face down on the counter I picked it up thinking it was a business card while I was checking out and flipped it over to find my the punch side. I warmed the worker«Oh cool is this a punch-» before I got the word out he had snatched it from my hands saying«Yep. Name?» I thought that was very rude not sure he wanted to give me one or wanted me to find it maybe?

I was so excited when I visited the area to see this store. There is a whole section of just Hello Kitty stuff and they even have a small selection of super hero items and cute trinkets in general. If you’re an avid animé/manga fan, they do sell a nice little variety of keychains, dolls, shirts, bags, wall scrolls, and the cheap kind of figures you get in blind boxes. The merch. I have taken note of so far are Naruto, One Piece, SnK, Free!, Sailor Moon, Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater. ya know, some basic stuff. But they do sneak in some random, more«intense» merch. from shows like Eden of the East, NGE, Durarara!!, Samurai Champloo and such. There is also Gundum builds here if you are into that sort of thing! I was really disappointed to find this Black Butler figure there and it was such low quality that for $ 60, it was not worth it. I also purchased some Snk Capsule Q’s(small detailed toy figures that come in a ball) and they ended up being knock offs(all the colors were different, specifically the Mikasa one had a GREEN not RED scarf!) Unfortunately, I have seen a lot of the merch for cheaper in other stores, and definitely have seen better quality«toy» and figures around Atlanta, but they do price reasonably on key chains, shirts and wall scrolls so I can’t be too picky. But the staff is super friendly and it’s a great place to check out. I do recommend it regardless of the flaws!

This place is great! I was asking around for some items that I wanted but didn’t know if they existed… Well the guy, David, took my number and a week later my dreams came true. It is not for everyone but we enjoy the pop culture stuff and some of the Animé stuff is pretty cool

Walking around the mall, we stopped in because I was looking for something specific to buy for my roomie for Christmas. We were greeted as soon as we entered the store and the girl didn’t hover over our shoulder, which is nice. The store is kind of cluttered because of such high volume in inventory and it makes it kind of difficult if you’re looking for something in particular. However, the staff seems very helpful. I overheard the girl calling a co-worker because another customer was looking for something and the other guy knew more about Animé than her lol.

The Character World inside the Mall of Georgia on the second floor right across from the Apple Store have various toys, art materials, animé t-shirts, bags, beverages and candies. Anyways, this place has almost every animé notebooks, t-shirts, hats, little accessories and bags you can think of! The owner/manager is a very nice lady. She always gives everyone a warm welcome to her store and helps out customers(including me as much as she can to her knowledge). When the store gets really busy, I noticed that there are two people(at most) who work behind the cash register. They look so cramped behind the cash wrap, though. Not a lot of space, ya know? There are a good amount of Hello Kitty backpacks, purses, notebooks, pencils, colored pencils, erasers, stickers, plushies and hats. the list goes on forever! They also sell Hi-Chew(chewy candy) for 99 cents each. They have many different Hi-Chew flavors such as strawberry, melon, peach, mango, banana and grape. My favorite is the grape. It used to be the mango. but after awhile it begins to have a funky taste(have you ever had durin? it tastes somewhat like a durin fruit also known as the ‘stinky fruit’). There’s also a carbonated soft drink called ‘Ramune’(product of Japan). It’s in a glass bottle with a glass marble inside of it. There are four different flavors: strawberry(not recommended because it tastes like cough syrup), melon(highly recommended), regular/plain(never had it) and orange(tastes like a ‘light’ fanta orange. so it’s not too sweet). They are a bit pricey but worth it!($ 1.99 each) ***I also came here for the holidays(Last Christmas) and they were having a HUGESALE and you could find everything for under $ 15.00!!! They had awesome deals on their animé plushie bags and t-shirts!*** I know that they sell Naruto shirts, Hunger Game shirts and Bleach shirts. There are other animé shirts with cute animé girls on them. but I’m not too familiar with which animé they’re from. They have a large collection of Ugly Dolls and Angry Birds(mostly plushies). This place gets 3 stars. The staff here are friendly and very helpful! But I wish they had Fruits Basket(the animé) shirts and more animé shirts for females(more XS and S sizes)!! I like coming to this store whenever I’m off from work or at the mall with my friend. (Note: You can only use a credit card if you spend more than $ 5.00. I don’t know why, but that’s their policy. Also, they don’t allow people to take pictures inside the store. I did this one time and I got in trouble from the one of the staff people. now they have a sign that reads ‘Please do not take any pictures with your camera’.)
