Great first impression! This will definitely be my go-​to florist for sending flowers/​plants to my son and his wife who just moved to Georgia. I went through another florist first and wasn’t notified until the day of delivery that they couldn’t get the plant I had ordered (I had placed the order several days prior to that). I immediately began looking for another local florist and saw the great reviews for Design House of Flowers. They did not disappoint. Not only did I save money from my original order placed, but the plant basket was beautiful! Even nicer than the online pic. Keep up the good work, and you’ll have many return customers!

Oh geez. I meant to write a review for this place so long ago and I just constantly pushed it off.
I found this location based on the Google reviews, which is weird because the reviews on Google are great compared to these Unilocal reviews. I came here for my mother’s birthday wanting to spare no expenses, told the lady that I was fine with an arrangement that was over $ 100. The immature child in me always wants to outdo my stepfather and it always works. You should’ve seen his face when he walked in with a poorly done arrangement of roses that he was going to place in the kitchen table and saw that I beat him to it. In a defeated voice, he mumbled something and took his flowers to place elsewhere. Sad, because the kitchen is such a prime location for flowers!
My experience here was very pleasant and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I didn’t like any of the arrangements that were placed all around the store, so the lady told me to browse around on their website and let me use their computer to pick whichever one I liked. I didn’t have to wait long, because she started working on it as soon as I told her which one I preferred. When she was done, she also asked me if I wanted the arrangement to be a little «rustic» and after I agreed, she graciously added long, thin, branch-​looking things that stuck out of the flowers. I knew I made the right choice because my mother has lots of fake plants that had similar decorative branches.
What really shocked me was when they put my arrangement into a huge five-​gallon bucket so it wouldn’t tip over in my car. Seriously, every man knows that when they buy flowers with vases, driving with it in a car is a nightmare waiting to happen, especially since my arrangement was about three feet tall. Sure, I could’ve gotten it delivered, but my mother’s house was two minutes away. She even told me that I could keep the bucket! Yes!

I ordered a wrist corsage for my son’s prom date, it was beautiful. However, after 15 min of pictures, the flowers popped off and the decorative beads came undone. After reporting it to the owner, and offering to email photos of it, the owner told me to refer to their policy posted on their web site that I needed to report it within 48 hrs. I went into their shop to order it, and I picked it up… it is not posted on the receipt or in the shop. She said if I went to Publix or Target, it’s not posted there. She didn’t even apologies until I pointed out that was all I was looking for, and thought they should know. She became so defensive and argumentative when I said I was going to make sure I made it known to many, that their product ($ 40.00) falls apart and they do not care. Horrible customer service when the owner says to a customer «now you listen to me…» Buyer beware, this place is not worth the attitude of the owner, you can get better somewhere else. FYI to the owners-​post your policy on your receipt or in the store and quit being an idiot by saying its on your website to someone who walked in your door and made a purchase… unless you are using this lack of responsibility to deceive and deflect several complaint of inadequate products.

I live in Texas but ordered an arrangement on their website for a funeral in a town nearby. It came on time but was not as full as it was on their site. It still looked nice, though, so I can’t complain too much. Maybe they picture a more expensive option on their site?

If you’re looking for a wedding florist, this is NOT the place to go! I met with Pam, the owner of this place last week for a wedding consultation and my whole experience was just horrible. Pam was very condescending and not helpful at all! I’m totally clueless when it comes to flowers so I thought she would be able to help me come up with some ideas for my wedding but instead she made me feel stupid. Every time I asked her a question, her response was that everything would be explained in her proposal. She also told me that it would take her a few days to come up with a proposal. It is now 1.5 wks later and still no proposal.
