Went to sell items on Sunday before 5 and the employee told me she had some big orders that came in and you’ll need to come back tomorrow. Sorry! Why do you have selling hours posted on your door if you don’t stick to them?!

Clean, organized, friendly staff. I trade and buy here all the time. My daughter loves the toy section. Great for boys clothes too. I love this store.

I had Abercrombie and Ralph Lauren boys 10 – 12 and they wouldn’t take it because, they have too many stained shirts and with holes with that are not selling, so I gave them to a customer that had 3 boys, they should be more selective on what they take so they have room for the nicer brands not Walmart brand

I love kids to kids at Buford. I have visited many others but they do not have the selection like here. They do have an amazing selection but I feel like I am almost insulted by the things they turn away that I bring in. My daughter just turned one and has hardly worn some things that are not picked because they are«not in style anymore» I feel like if I had someone else sorting things it would be a different amount. Over all I still give them a 5 star rating because the selection is amazing!

Not worth the time or effort. Like previous reviewers have stated, some of the workers are rude. As their website states, I expected to be able to drop off my items and come back a bit later after I checked in. The workers told me I couldn’t leave until they«pre-sorted» my items which would take approximately 10 – 15 minutes. The lady even commented, «You have to stay, especially since we’re just buying from you.» That turned into 30 minutes and caused me to be late to a scheduled appointment. Once the girl gave me permission to leave, not even five minutes later I received a call with their payment offer. I had my one year old daughter with me and not one worker offered to hold the door, help, or roll the cart out for me. The store was not busy either. The payment I received for my items was not worth the trouble. I will now sell somewhere else or donate to a charity.

This is not the first time I have left the store feeling very disappointed and incredibly frustrated. I brought in a play pen in excellent t condition, a like new Moby wrap still in bag, and over 20 outfits freshly laundered with little to no stains. They took the play pen and 3 outfits and offered me $ 20 cash and said the rest had too many stains or signs of wear. I was not insulted I was in disbelief because I had spent over 30 min. picking through clothes on the racks that either had stains holes or smelled like smoke. Also I was informed that the playpen retailed for $ 90 they could sell for $ 40 but could only give me $ 20. Also, the many times I have been in there the customer service and general attitudes make me wonder why I keep going in there. Suggestion, post general amounts you would buy particular products, brands and pieces for.

Most times, the quality of the merchandise is good. But you have to be careful, especially with the clothes.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Fair amount given for the clothes I consigned. I will definitely shop and consign here again!

Today I tried to resell a few boxes of gently used infant and toddler girl clothing, plus some kids toys. For one I arrived at the store to resell at 3:00 p.m. and was second on the list. The clerk stated that although they were busy come back in 2 hours and my stuff should be done. I said that was fine. I called 3 hours later they were just starting and I was a little confused. I drove back to the store to find that no one seem to be working on anything or acknowledged me when I walked in the store. After being in the store 15 mins. I approached the counter and asked the 3 talking girls about my stuff. They said they tried to call me but my cell and home phone weren’t working. Does that make sense! They had rejected all my stuff. I was totally ticked off and wanted to know why. Their excuse was that it was old and looked wore and dirty. They wouldn’t take the 2009 Graco baby swing, Boppy, or Fisher Price Play Door. They claimed that they were dirty after I explain that my daughter drew on them with a pen in the car. And that they had too much girls stuff and they weren’t excepting anymore seasons girl clothes. I told the girl how is that so, I called yesterday, and that morning and you didn’t say that. In the end the offered me $ 21 for my stuff they would take. You tell me is this the kind of place you want to do business with? What a rip off!

I used Kid To Kid for the first time with my summer and winter outgrown clothing for my little girl. I chose the shop(instead of my usual) because we have moved and the location was closer to my home. Another advantage is that they take clothing that is not in season which makes it easier if you have leftover clothes that were outgrown last year. My name brand clothing is always in immaculate condition and includes hairbows and socks to match. I always check closely for any stains or tears. However, I seldom have those issues because as the baby(my closest other child is 19) I usually purchase way too much clothing for her and she seldom wears an outfit more than a couple times. One major difference between Kid to Kid and the other consignment shop is that they really don’t give you a choice as to whether you want to sell at the price they offer. The check was already cut and my clothes were already being placed on the racks when I returned. The price they offered was approximately one-third of the amount I was used to getting from Sweet Repeats. For three large laundry baskets full of name brand clothing they gave me barely over $ 100.00. I truly wish I had donated the clothing to charity. That is the last time I will either shop or sell at Kid to Kid. It was a simply a waste of my time and effort and at their prices I much would have rather donated my daughter’s clothes to a little girl who needed them. I will either donate to charity or go back to the shop I have used for years. Their pricing(both purchasing and selling) is a JOKE.

If your looking for inexpensive used clothing for your child this is not the place. I think they forgot its USED. I thought the over pricing was maybe bc they pay good for there stuff. Wrong again. I felt better donating my stuff to a charitable cause. Dont waist your time here… And to top it off there staff have better than you attitudes.

You can tell the quality of a business by the way they handle problems. I purchased skates for my daughter back in oct and gave them to her for Christmas, it wasn’t until then that I realized that they were missing the needed buckles. Kid to kid had no problem with the return and even apologized for the missing buckles. Thanks for the excellent customer service and handling it so well. Heather
