I visited this location on 12÷29÷15. Every table/booth was packed so I decided to sit at the bar… which was very busy also. Chris took my order in a reasonable amount of time. He noticed it was taking too long for me to receive my app. so he kept begging other workers to check on it. I ended up getting my entrée before my app. Chris said he would take care of it. When my meal was almost finished, I was given my check. I noticed the price of the app. had been taken off. I informed Chris that I had a coupon for $ 10 off of a $ 30 purchase. After speaking with a manager, my coupon was honored. I only had to pay $ 7 for the meal I ordered. And that isn’t the end of it. While I was drinking my tea and watching CFB games, Chris gave me a complementary bowl of ice cream. I definitely got my money’s worth that night. I’ll probably start sitting at the bar more often now… whether the restaurant is packed or not.

I am so disappointed. I just left. I was seated for fifteen minutes. During that time I watched three servers stand in he back and talk to the two chefs. One server stood at the entrance talking to the host. There were two other occupied tables when I was seated(without a word from the host, he just pointed). There was one man seated at the bar taking to the bartender. No employee spoke to me. I didn’t even get a glass of water. The food may be good — not that I would know — but the service made this a horrible experience.

Stopped in last night before going to the movies. Sat at the bar. Chris and Josh took great care of us. We had wine and cocktails, truffle fries and the shrimp and grits. I didn’t read the description of the shrimp and grits so I was surprised to see it was grits cakes. They were so good! I would definitely get that again. And I plan to! The place was packed on a Friday evening, so be prepared to wait.

I’ve been back to the same Marlow’s location several times since my first review. And I must say, the food was more and more bland with each visit. There are soooo many places to eat in ATL and surrounding areas that it just doesn’t make sense to waste money on a «blah» dinning experience. I can’t say for sure that I’ll be back.

The service is slow, the bartender isn’t knowledgeable, the food took forever to come out. The worst part is, they weren’t understaffed or busy.

So disappointing. Mainly because the potential is there. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it was 100% inedible. The wrap its self was rock hard, and on top of that it came out cold. Also got the j. t’s chips as an app and it was also barely edible. They put so much cheese on it. Sometimes less is more. I sent my main meal back and didn’t end up re ordering because of time restraints and how long it took to get the food in the first place. Do yourself a favor and check out PF chang’s next door.

I always enjoy going to Marlow’s Tavern, and this is probably the third location I’ve been to. I think their menu changed about a year ago, and there were some items I LOVED from the previous menu that I was sad to see go… but I’m never disappointed by Marlow’s. I generally get the tavern burger with chick pea fries or shrimp & grits, but this time I tried the black and blue burger with applewood bacon and gorgonzola on the side as a spread. Delish! I definitely had leftovers from the meal and still enjoyed them when i ate them at home later. I also came with a friend who got the chicken salad sandwich which she raved about, so I might have to try that next time I go.

First and last time ever eating here. The ribs were terrible and made all of us sick!

Go on a Sunday. Their chicken and waffles are awesome! We wanted to get a Bloody Mary but forgot that they don’t serve alcohol till 12:30. They also have this crab nacho appetizer thing that is amazing!

My wife and I have eaten here 3 times in the last two weeks. Every time the food was awesome. Truffle Fries are incredible as is the prime rib french dip. Calamari is unique and delicious. Save room for the crème brûlée for desert. Great service and friendly staff. By far the best restaurant at the mall. Also, excellent margaritas.

Fun to try for the first time but not something deserving of a return. Positive — Calamari appetizer was great, different flavor from the standard. Negative — 1. French fries are stale and soggy because they make a large batch, place them in a bowl and the servers fill orders with FF sides from this bowl. Easy fix if they want to improve. 2. Drink menu is weak. They were out of a special and overall the cocktail selection is lacking. If you don’t drink, ignore and refer to French fry problem. $ 70 for two: $ 20 in two sad drinks, $ 11 in tip… remaining was for average burgers and the good calamari app.

We have always enjoyed this place. Very good food, and decent beer selection. The Bartenders really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and have a good time. Our last visit i believe their names were Josh and Chris — fantastic service from them. Only down side is it is a bit pricey for a long night of hanging out.

Good food and service unfortunately the freshness of the food is questionable due to the fact that my burger came served wrapped in paper. The manager explained that it is frozen that way. But the menu says fresh ingredients. Fresh shouldn’t come pre packaged in paper.

Very good food at a reasonable price. The crab and shrimp nachos were delicious! I had the Chicken panini and it was good. Too bad there wasn’t enough chicken to fill the bread.

Came here on Valentine’s Day to sit at the empty bar for some quick food(since we were the only ones at the bar besides 1 other couple). Ordered a glass of wine and a beer. The lady never gave us the beer that was in her site as she helped new customers… i know guiness has to sit, but not for 10+mins… After my wine was almost gone, she asked what we wanted to eat… I said«We are just going to go somewhere else.» She said«Are you sure? I hope it wasn’t something I did.» I said«You didn’t even bring him his beer»… So, we went to Tin Lizzy’s and had a great time with awesome service! Do not come here… Extremely expensive for fancy bar food and you will probably have bad service.

Awesome place! My cousin who is a Unilocaler and I were shopping at Mall of Georgia. We were on the way to our car and I start opening up my Unilocal,my scoutmob, all the apps I use to figure out where we want lunch and we walk by Marlow’s and she says«wanna go?» I’m like«Sure!» That was way too easy. This Marlow’s Tavern is conveniently located right at the back entrance to Mall of Georgia next to Cheesecake Factory and across from PF Changs/Barnes and Noble/and Tin Lizzy’s. We sat at the bar and the bartender, I think her name was Claudia, was super above-and-beyond friendly and welcoming. We got some bubbly wine and beer and both were great and started off with some Ahi Tuna Poke. Awesome dish! The fish was fresh and the wonton chips were crisp and flavoful. Then we shared fish tacos with chickpea fries. The chickpea fries are amazing! I’ve never tried something quite like them! The breading on the outside has the perfect amount of flavor and the texture is soft and fun to eat. Try them with the dipping sauce that comes with the fish tacos which were also amazing! The fish was warm and perfectly spicy and was perfect with the vegetables that come in the taco. The food here is great. As we were checking out, the bartender offered us waters to-go and the manager also came by and spoke with us and made us feel welcome. Five stars for sure from start to finish.

I’ve been to the other locations off of Druid Hills and Sugarloaf Parkway, and was very disappointed with their food and service. The Mall of GA location, however, was AMAZING! Our server was great, and very attentive. It’s also refreshing to actually see a manager. He was super friendly and made more than just the one courtesy table visit to check on us. The size of this location is the same as the others, but plenty of outdoor seating — can’t wait for the spring/summer! The food here was much better than the other locations as well. We had the calamari — amazing sweet and sour flavors with the perfect seasoned breading, classic buffalo wings — they come not breaded with more of a buffalo seasoning instead of swimming in sauce, and the heat is prefect, and the kettle chips — how can you go wrong with house made smothered in Gorgonzola(could eat that with a spoon), bacon, and tomatoes? We will for sure be making this a regular for date night ;)

I ate lunch here today with a friend and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was nice and the lighting and music were perfect. We were able to sit in a cozy booth. The fire shrimp and buffalo chicken wrap were amazing and my fries were piping hot! I also liked that all of the wine was available by the glass or by the bottle. Service was friendly and on point as well. Fair and affordable prices as well! I will definitely be back.

The wife and I were expecting just another bar and grill when we went into the Mall of GA location. This place blew those expectations away! We started with JT kettle chips which are kettle chips with scallions, tomatoes, bacon, and Gorgonzola cheese crumbles/sauce. My wife is super picky and wouldn’t try stuff like Gorgonzola usually but she did and loved them. But the goodness kept coming. I had the french dip, hands down best french dip i ever had. Made with shaved prime rib and provolone cheese. Ask for asparagus fries(not listed on the menu). They are asparagus spears(healthy), battered(not too thick) and fried(to balance out the healthy part) and are absolutely fantastic. The service was also excellent. Seated quickly, server was really friendly and on the spot with refills. The place has a great atmosphere too. We left and literally said«we gotta go back» to each other in a strange jinx moment. Highly recommend a stop if you have one by you.

Ok, first visit and was expecting the worst. Just opened, Mall of Georgia, has to be packed! Nope! We timed it perfectly right before the after church rush, Julie was our waitperson, very good. Establishment was clean and organized just like the Duluth location. My Marlow’s staple, the black bean burger was perfect just as the jalapeño corn grits were perfect. My wife enjoyed the Marlo’s salad which she enjoyed. Marlow’s Mall of Georgia is a hit!
