This used to be our go to place for a «nicer» dinner, but it has gone downhill. We had a reservation but it still took 15 minutes to get seated. Placed an appetizer order with our drink order. The drinks took a long time to get to the table. No sweetener on the table so I asked for splenda and never got it. Our appetizers took a LONG time to come and literally 2 minutes later our meals showed up. My husband had to ask 3 times for spicy chili paste. They used to do a presentation with sauces when they first came to the table, but not anymore. Everything just seemed to be SOSLOW, even getting to go boxes and the check. The food is fine, nothing special. Just be sure to be ready to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT for mediocre service.

My wife and I have been here numerous times. Last time we sat by the window and we had to tell them their was around an inch of dust all on the window seal. It looked like they hadn’t cleaned it in a few weeks. Love the food here but it’s not the cleanest place. Let’s look at the facts: 1. Bathrooms are always dirty. Literally, the last 5 times we’ve been their is either no tissue in the men’s room or paper towels are all on the floor. 2. On the weekend their is always long waits here. 30 min to 1 hour every Friday night. Call ahead. 3. Food is average at best. Not worth the price for average food. It’s the environment and fast service you pay for. 4. Usually good service and well trained staff. I give this place a solid 3⁄5. Good service but not that clean. When they get busy they tend to put cleaning on the back burner. Update: came here last night(2 – 1) and my wife found plastic in her food. A big piece of plastic that looked like it had been cooked with the food. The manager took care of our food but the experience was scary.

Ive been coming here for years now and finally writing a review. Still one of my favorites but over the past couple of years just can’t take the crowds at the mall, which is the only reason I don’t come more. But tonight my son and I went to see a movie so I called ahead and arrived a bit early to just get some appetizers before the movie. Pros. This is an upscale, pricey Chinese albeit at the mall. The service has most always been spot on, the table is clean, drinks are good, food is really good. Appetizers are great for sharing– the lettuce wraps are the best around; fried green beans addictive, and won tons on par with others. Nice weight to the chop sticks(I like real chop sticks). Desert shot glasses– as I call them are the bomb! Just a 3 bite snack with many choices finishes the meal and have booths and tables to accommodate those needing desired seating. Cons. Mostly the cons to me are first, its at the mall and parking is a bitch. Always! Then, Waiting. There is always a wait but hit and miss for me as if I have my elderly mom– I always call ahead and tell them I’m bringing an 80 yr old who can’t stand long and we time it right to usually get sat quick. So call ahead when you can. I think some nights are limited. Lastly, its quite pricey. I usually have coupons or gift cards from friends otherwise I go to China Bistro in Dacula for my Chinese fix. Food. I have never had sushi here– not a sushi place — but every dish has always been plentiful, tasty and good quality. The HUGE soup to share goes quick, appetizers are really good like those mentioned about but also the egg rolls and spring rolls are tasty as well. There is a plethora of options of dinners from chinese to tai to sushi. Been lucky on all but one visit for service having some top notch servers that are timely, efficient, and pleasant. Not in your face, not disappearing for 30 minutes or more. Although we often come and get around 5 appetizers and soup, the dining experience is nice, atmosphere is classy, and just a good place to sit and chill with a cold beer or Saki. Happy hour starts at 5(maybe at a bit earlier?) so that’s what got us hooked on apps since they are a great value. If you’re at the mall, and stop by, expect a wait. If you plan ahead, their call ahead with shave a lot of time off your wait. Well worth it.

have eaten at the PF changs mall of Georgia location a few times(mostly during very busy evenings). Appetizer: high recommend the crispy green beans. Bland w/o the sauce dip but a great appetizer to begin with. We’ve always been presented with good service and friendly servers.

We love this place. We have dined here about once a month for the last 6 years. VERY rarely do we leave unsatisfied.

Ask for Shane: He is the best! Personable, genuinely interested in the tables he was attending to. Perhaps being part of a rock band that travels as far as Buffalo is part of why he is who he is but I think perhaps he is just«nice» person. My wife and I will certainly be back when we come to visit Georgia. Thanks for the recommendation as well.

Just tried to have lunch with my premature son who can not sit at hi chair and has to stay within his stroller have eaten at countless restaurants and everyone has been more then welcoming and accommodating, ebter PF Changs. At a not very busy time the hostess asked how many, I responded 2 she asked hi chair I said no, she asked booster chair I said no, she stated«you can not have a stroller at the table«we stated that we have had no problems elsewhere and asked could they not accommodate it at this time, which the reply was no we can not have strollers at the table. Sadly speaking with the manager was even less help then the hostess as I can only assume the training both to hostess and management is a class in talking down to customers and being condescending. So moral of the story is PF Changs is anti premature children.

Salty – everything at PF Changs is SALTY. Like burn the back of your throat salty. I’ve been to this PF Changs in Buford a couple times and to a handful of others over the years and the saltiness has been the lasting impression. The food quality is definitely a step above your local chinese take-out(and 3x the cost) but who the heck seasons this stuff? I want to taste the food – as it is the salt covers up everything. Service is good. Atmosphere ok. Crowded on weekends(why, I’ll never understand), though not as crowded as it used to be. Cheesecake Factory across the street has definitely taken away some business.

My dear hubby and I visited this location for lunch. He ordered the Korean bbq chicken while I fancied Kung Pao. We both enjoyed our meals with fried rice and a spring roll. The flavor for both of the meals was good, although the Kung Pao seemed slightly salty. The spring roll was more crispy than any spring roll I’d ever had. That’s not a negative. It and the dipping sauce that accompanied it was delicious! It was good Chinese food with a little more crispness rather than the soggy, oversauced and overbreaded meals you may have received from traditional strip mall Chinese eateries. It didn’t wow me, but I’d visit again if we were in the area.

Walked out. Service slow a the bar where there was only 1 party. We sat at bar to avoid the wait. After 10 minutes, another lady sat down. Bar tender took her order and continued to ignore us. Ate nothing. Maybe the restaurant business is better than it seems but I can eat gourmet food at home. What I am willing to pay extra for is service.

A short and sweet review this time. I had the lunch special of mixed salad(it was OK… not enough dressing and didn’t like the cut of the greens). I had the Kung Pao with scallops and paid the additional $ 2 for Quinoa instead of rice. It was SO good! I usually get Kung Pao with shrimp or chicken. I love scallops, but it is typically not an option. I think I found a new favorite for my P.F. Chang’s future visits.

I had been to other PF Changs locations over the years and always had a good experience until I visited here. My grandmother took me out to lunch on July 3rd. I had shrimp fried rice and the peach ginger tea. Six hours later horror came when I was trapped in the bathroom with food poisoning, off and on for the next twelve hours. Without getting to graphic, let me just say it completely ruined my Fourth of July in every way you can imagine, not to mention I lost time with family! I’d avoid anything seafood from this location at all costs. The service staff seemed to be in a huge rush. I’m not sure that they wee really cleaning or doing a good job at all. I’m sad because their food tastes so good, but not six for a day good!

One of the better Asian places in the town. Obviously this is going to be pricier and less authentic than your neighborhood Asian restaurant. They specialize in many Asian cuisines instead of just one, so it’s going to be different than what most people are used to. It’s definitely one of the best options in the MOG area. I had Hunan chicken with mushrooms and it was incredible! The staff is very friendly and seems like they have it put together. Would definitely go again if I am ever OTP.

Great Chinese food, fresh sushi and the entrees were great. Service was great also. The only downside it is a little pricey so be prepared to spend a lot of money. But all in all my wife had a great birthday dinner.

Went for a quick lunch with wifey after shopping at the mall. I think it was my 5th visit and for me, the food is «OK» nothing special and no complains… I ordered Mongolian beef and she ordered some fish… Beef was too tough; seemed like over fried. Fish was better :-) Location, price, ambiance, service, cleanliness, friendliness and all other things were great. I have been coming here and will continue to do so. I can definitely recommend it.
