I can’t wait to NEVER go back to this place. Should have known it was not the place to be when it’s dead on father’s day. The greeter didn’t even give a hint of a smile, our order was completely wrong(literally they had to take all 5 plates back and redo it and STILL got stuff wrong), food is overpriced and not even good. Just all around awful. I can’t wait for a new business to replace it.

I got the shrimp skillet. Delicious! The rice it came with was well seasoned. I would definitely return!

The chips were wonderful. I had a hard time finding anything else that even sounded appetizing. It is very non-traditional food. I finally ordered the Southern Comfort skillet and could hardly eat it. I don’t really understand BBQ sauce in Mexican style food. I’m from Texas, so I’m accustomed to traditional Tex-Mex. The service was very good. I will probably not eat here again.

Visited on Friday night 4⁄29 around 9:00. The 2 stars are for the waitress. She was in a horrible mood. I understand ppl can have bad days but she really needed to take a personal day. Her long face does not make a good impression. I do not remember what she said her name was. Our ticket said Kitkat. I guess she doesn’t want her real name on there because she knows ppl are gonna complain about her long face. I hated that we got such a horrible waitress because this was my friend’s first time there.

This is my spot after today. The chips were the right thickness powered with seasoning. The guacamole was fresh but queso could have been thicker. The service was great as well. I will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo at the Tin Lizzy. You should too!

I visited this restaurant during the holiday season while visiting my family and was very disappointed. The atmosphere is great but the food is terrible. I ordered BBQ nachos and they were incredibly salty and the BBQ was very dry. The women’s restroom was also terrible. Every single lock was broken. A traditional hole in the wall non chain Mexican restaurant would have been better.

I am an AVID fan of Tin Lizzys however this location is terrible! The staff show no motivation to want to help you and it is dirty. I have been a couple times because yes, I believe restaurants have an «off» night or two. Well every time I go to this location it is always«off». I love Tin Lizzys queso/chips/salsa. I just go to the other locations now instead of this one. Save your self and keep driving to a better location.

Started off well, appetizers came out hot drinks were decent. Customer service was good up until it was time to get the entrees took them way too long to bring them. I won’t be dining here again.

Really interesting fusion food options here. Virtually every ethnic food fused with a Mexican dish. My favorite is the Southern fusions: low country boil taco and Southern comfort taco. They also have margarita pitchers at a decent price and the service is generally well delivered – sometimes great and other times just okay. It is a good spot to catch up with friends and enjoy live music(sometimes).

Bartender is the worse! Here on a Saturday night and now I know why it’s empty. Our food for a party of 8 came b4 the simple margaritas we ordered. David the waiter is cool and the live music guy was awesome. Drinks were too strong with sour mix… yuck

Had a lovely lunch here with my friend this weekend. It was a nice little place to sit down and get comfy.(Though it is a little hard to be comfy on the wood bench seats.) We were seated near the bard against the wall. It was quick seating on Saturday lunch time. It was a delay for the server to get over to our table and get our drinks. I feel like he and two others may have been the only ones on the floor.(Speaking of which could use a cleaning. My flip flops were sticking so bad I lost one when going to the restroom at one point. The rest of the restaurants is pretty well kept and clean.) After getting our drinks we were able to place an order for an appetizer and our meal at the same time. The queso and fresco salsa were nice start. The chips had a season salt on them that went well when mixed with the salsa. It was a little to salty when mixed with the queso. My main dish was the cantina skillet with steak and black beans added. The steak was cooked nicely and came out soft and juicy.(They didn’t ask me how I wanted it cooked however, I think it may be a preset on preparation. I would have said the steak was cuts of flank steak cooked to medium.) The beans were not overcooked, which is a nice change. The skillet itself contained a large amount of complimentary flavors as well. Grilled onions, peppers, tomatoes, rice, cheese, and my extras all cooked over tortilla chips. It is served with two flour tortilla, I was able to eat both of these and take left overs home with a content stomach. My friend wiped out her cantina quesadilla. So I’m gonna say the prep on that dish was pretty tasty as well.(Sheee didn’t share even though I did with mine. LOL.) The prices are decent on some of the dishes. I would look a little closer at the tacos when you order. It looks like some of them are 4 – 5 dollars(steak or shrimp) for just one. The Skillet was a better purchase to me. It is an establishment that I would revisit, since it is a chain. I wouldn’t mind stopping back in here if I was in the area.

Food came out cold! Drinks weren’t made properly and the waitress was the absolute worst! Do not go to this location it’s awful! It took our waitress 35 minutes to bring waters to the table. Then she gave us the wrong drinks and refused to switch it out because the bartender said that’s how they are made? It was an awful experience overall… Will not return here.

Food was pretty good! I gave it 3 stars due to our waiter. They were under staffed and our waiter truly sucked! He could have cared less about working that day and it was hotter in the restaurant than outside.

They have good margaritas here. Also the tacos are good as well with excellent servers. I like the atmosphere it’s a good place to come after work to eat and drink and hang out.

My husband and I visited this location on a Sunday evening we stood and waited to be seated and we waited until we decided to seat ourselves. We sat near the bar and a server passed by on his way to the kitchen and said he would be right back. He returned a few minutes later and was very polite. He apologized for the wait and that we had to seat ourselves. The server was very pleasant and offered several different food suggestions! We tried the Crispy Southwest Spring Rolls for an appetizer which were very good! Had it not been for my husbands patient personality I would not have enjoyed this little Tavern nestled on the back side of the Mall of Georgia! I’ll definitely go back for their build your own quesadillas! Yep you heard that right… start with a Cantina and you go from there! Psst… they’re also the home of the $ 4.00 House Margarita

The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Bar tenders were great and attentive. The Skinny Margarita’s were not bad at all. I tried a trio of Tacos. I will say, not my favorite. I didn’t finish one of them. Fried Fish — Too much mayo Spicy Tilapia — Really SWEET Southern Comfort — Soggy friend pickles Again, the service, atmosphere and drinks were great. Just didn’t pick the best tacos to have that day. I have gone back since for drinks with friends and still had the same inviting experience. Other coworkers and friends have gone and had better luck with their food picks. So keep that in mind.

Had the quesadilla with the chicken, bacon and ranch. It’s pretty simple but good. We ordered the guacamole with the chips but it was bland. We added salt and lime to it because it was so bland! Not very tasty. Just stick to salsa. Also had the skinny margarita and it was good! Had a good kick, not too sweet. Perfect for my taste.

I have given this place two chances, and it has disappointed me both times. I ordered a «skillet» on the first visit, 6 small shrimp on a pile of rice for $ 14… Rip off. Today my wife and I decided to give it another try, ordered 4 different tacos(shrimp, steak, fried chicken, grilled chicken), and there was hardy any meat on either of them(and they were between 3 – 4 dollars each). Again, a rip off. This place charges a high amount for what you get, and then skimps on the meat in every dish. We also ordered some chips and salsa, the salsa was good but the chips were cold. If they are going to charge you between 3 and 12 dollars for salsa or cheese dips, at least the chips should be fresh and warm. We will not be back, and it’s sad, because this could be a great place. If a manager stepped up and tweaked just a couple of things(like putting a realistic amount of meat in the dishes, and better service), this wouldn’t be a bad place.

On a Sunday late afternoon, in a mostly empty restaurant, we were told it’d be a 20 – 30 minute wait. I was extremely surprised and even asked the hostess, «why?» as I looked around the open tables. She said«We don’t want to overwhelm our staff.» Luckily a manager walked by and reassured us it’d be a 15 minute wait but for a restaurant with plenty of space available, I was baffled at why we even had to wait. I’d much rather wait sitting down than having to find something else to do for the time being. We finally sat and our waiter came around. I ordered a frozen mango margarita, but was told that frozen margaritas only have 2 flavors, strawberry and original. Again, I found it bizarre considering most places can just mix flavors into the original TO create more and I’ve had many other flavors at other Tin Lizzy’s before. After our waiter realized the confused look on my face, he said«nevermind we can do it» My margarita was good per usual and then our order came out. My food was what I expected– I had my favorite Southern Comfort taco and a side of guac. However, my boyfriend’s tacos were all wrong and it took him hunting down another waiter to get it swapped out. As much as I love Tin Lizzy’s, this location has been disappointing on each visit. I still enjoy the food and atmosphere but the service has got to get it together! Why would you be understaffed on a weekend afternoon in a big restaurant and for 2 people having rather simple orders, I was surprised they got it wrong.

Great spot to catch a game in their bar, and awesome patio location for people watching at the Mall of Georgia. The service the two times I’ve went has been average. Seat in the dining area and the bar. The time I was at the bar, there was only one bartender for the entire crowd during one of the Hawks games… so I don’t blame her completely. Maybe a manager could have stepped in and helped her out a bit. The food is very average, nothing to rave about. Out of the dishes we’ve ordered as a group on the times that I have been, it seems that the protein to everything else ratio on all their dishes is off… where’s the chicken? where’s the meat? I guess it’s good that they don’t serve ground beef, but sometimes nachos deserve ground beef!
