Andy’s Frozen Custard

Quick Service. They’re new, so it’s so nice and clean! They did do a better job this time than the last. Keep it up.

Andys is the best. 100 stars. I love love love their Ozark Turtle. It is addictive and the employees are helpful and friendly. There is nothing to compare to Andys especially when I live in Plainfield and Oberweiss and Cold Stone are down the street. I only go to Andys. The trip is worth it.

I love a good zebra cone — Andy’s doesn’t do soft serve, only scoops. So I will get a simple cone with one scoop choc and one scoop vanilla. In it’s simplicity, it is so perfect. Creamy, wholesome, delicious flavor. Silky on your tongue. Satisfying. Yum. Andy’s has the best frozen custard.

Three times is a charm! I guess an Andy’s location near my house is the charm! I come here every once in a while. It’s a big treat! Andy’s itself might be small, but it’s clean and fantastic! The service here is great! The staff are nice!
I always get the Boot Daddy concrete. It’s named after a horse which is interesting. The toppings are vanilla custard, caramel, hot fudge, and Oreos. The ice cream has excellent richness in it. The toppings are a great choice for a concrete! I’m always getting my Boot Daddy!
I got another concrete to try as well. It’s called the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer. There are brownies and peanut butter in the middle. The custard is fantastic as always! The brownies are great, and the peanut butter was really good! The peanut butter is gooey (in a great way) and delicious!
All in all, fantastic custard and great service! That’s what I call a perfect ice cream place! You probably know from this review that I will be coming back!

I drive 50 min for this chocolate malt. Hands down its the best! The strawberry milkshake is great and tastes fresh as well as the banana and chocolate which has banana bits in it which my friend swears by

The ice cream creations here are very good. I have had 2 of the shakes and both were very good. Very clean and the staff is helpful.

Consistently delicious custard, staff is always friendly, they even gave my dog a little cone, made our day. I’m so happy they moved to Burbank.

I always loved Andy’s and I love this location as well. The service is amazing, the malts and custard are delicious (like usual) and it’s always a great time. Seriously go here instead of the Starbucks and DDONUTS neighboring it.

Seems like a really good custard joint. The options remind me a lot of Culver’s which is a good thing. They even call them «concretes» for some weird reason. Good stuff.

Ohhhh my God! Amazing sundaes and great flavor. I got the vanilla sundaes with banana topping and it’s just incredible. Smoooooooth and full of a flavor that will take you back in time. I didn’t try it in the 50’s but I heard it was so good and that’s how it was back then. This is the first time I try something so good. I have to say that this place really deserve the 5 stars and I’m sure all my Unilocal friends will read this review and to you guys I say this this place is amazing and you gotta try it if you live in Illinois, in fact it’s worth traveling to from Miami or Los Angeles! Will be back again tomorrow ;)

Here’s what you need to know: Andy’s ROCKS.
While I recently patronized this location for the first time, I am *not* new to the deliciousness that is Andy’s. I fell in love in Bolingbrook and later, latched on to the (closer) Oak Lawn spot. Burbank is even a hair closer! If we could get an Andy’s in Oak Forest? I’d probably eat my weight in frozen deliciousness in about a week’s time.

Let’s just call a spade a spade. There’s a well-​known Custard chain that boasts amazing cold confections… and falls rather short of that claim (consistently…blech). Andy’s always serves quality custard. You’re only eating super-​fresh frozen custard and that is not lost on anyone’s taste buds. The prices are reasonable (competitive, fair), and service is always amazing. I get the feeling that training is heavy on being personable. At our last visit a few days ago, a pleasant young woman greeted us at the drive thru with a smile & a «thanks for stopping by Andy’s; how are you today?». After a long morning, it really does make a difference.
We hit the drive thru but from what we could see, the establishment was clean (they stay on top of things at Andy’s). My husband ordered his favorite (the James Brownie – Vanilla custard blended with peanut butter and brownies & then filled with hot fudge) & said it was spot on perfect. The consistency is always amazing. Never too firm, but not liquidy, either. Andy is a man who knows what he’s doing. And his custard never fails to meet – and exceed – the mark.
Five stars, easy. Go get a James Brownie. It’s amazing & you deserve it. :)

So glad they opened this location! I had tried Andy’s many years ago so having it again was a treat. We visited twice in one week so that has to say something. The first visit I had the fresh black berry concrete and the second time I had a concrete with chocolate custard and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I was equally impressed both times. This is a great place to bring kids. The employees are very nice and super quick. The establishment itself is very clean. There are tables to sit down inside and benches to sit at outside. They also have a drive thru. I would definitely suggest it if you are in the area.

Great Custard! Clean as a whistle. Private parking lot. Outdoor seating. Indoor seating. Concretes, sundaes, cups, and frozen bars. If you are looking for a summer treat look no further! The line moves quick.
