Bread is amazing! All products are so fresh and the best quality and ingredients. Absolutely must try their sweets and breads and stock up if ever at their Los Angeles location. Great company — bible verses on recycled packaging. Eco smart and honest good hearted company. 5 stars!

Avo’s brings back childhood memories. They have consistent foods. It always tastes the same, they have the formula down! I love that I can walk into any middle eastern market and find their pastries. The cheese bourges are my favorite

Special Thanks to Avo’s bakery for their continues support to Nataline Sarkisyan Foundation. July 12, 2014 Fashion Legacy #7 held on the rooftop of Mercedes-Benz of Calabasas was a success and everyone enjoyed your delicious food. You are amazing, GOD Bless your family.

I bought an Avo’s Bakery baklava pack from Valley Produce in Valencia, $ 7 for 10 oz. This is the most useless baklava I have ever tasted. It is bland, cheaply made, not fresh, as the phillo dough lump to each other. Hardly any honest and real stuff: no walnuts, nuts, syrup, honey. It is a shame compared to the Trader Joes Baklava Ensemble pack(1 lb. for $ 5). Nothing honest about this product that I know is cheap, tasteless, and made just for profit. Seriously, nothing sweet about it, fillers, instead of real nuts, no honey drizzled on it. It’s a bad, bad representation of baklava, which I know to be a great dessert worthy of a world treasure if properly made. So Avo’s, do it right, or do not even put your name on such a product. You insult me. And this is the first time I felt so strongly about baklava.

Lahmajuhn — $ 5 for a bag(6 pieces). I’ve had Zaatar Factory’s lahmajuhn and Avo’s is just as good and cheaper. Its close, convenient and a no fuss place with a veritable, cornucopia of snacks galore. If you like the foo in foo foo, this ain’t for you. I’m all about high class flavors and cheap eats.

Avo’s Bakery is easily the best bakery in Los Angeles. The cheese turnovers are simply phenomenal. They remind me of the cheese bread I used to eat as a child in Milan. I would walk to the bakery in town, fantasizing about the fresh baked breads of that local bakery. Avo’s cheese turnovers are better than those cheese breads! And don’t even think of leaving without picking up some manaesh(oregano and thyme). I dream about this manaesh, and sometimes, if I’m having a bad day at work, I think about that manaesh, and the day suddenly doesn’t seem as bad. My mother just loves their bread sticks, the perfect complement to her afternoon teas with the ladies.

Avo’s is incredible!!! This is where I go when I am craving some yummy Armenian baked goods… the lahmajun is amazing, and they have this Mediterranean cheese bread that you’ll dream about. I love to come here when I’m going to a supper party and need to bring something to eat, on a picnic, or to the beach. The prices are wayyyyyy cheaper than Tarzana Armenian Deli,(which has great baked goods, but not as good as Avo’s). Avo’s charges $ 5 or $ 6 for a package of lahmajun, whereas it’s about $ 10 at TA Deli. Try this place out if you’re in the mood for some Mediterranean staples.
