THEBESTSPOTINTOWNYOSUPPORTYOURLOCALRECORDSTORE! Real good vibes. Always playing awesome music. There’s always good finds in the vinyl crates! A1 dollar records and cassettes. There’s also soul assassins radio show recorded there every Thursday night where there are usually cool guests such as schoolboy Q logic and fredo Santana plus so much more etc… The clothes are also very rare!!!

Yeeee! This the spot to be and has been around for years, definitely a solid landmark that has found a great way to keep refreshing stock. Even if you ain’t a hip-hop head, they carry a solid amount of streetwear along with wallets, backpacks, phone cases, even consignment on AJ Kicks for a period of time. No complaints!

This store has been the spot to get fresh gear and mixtapes since forever. And the atmosphere is great and welcoming. I always try to stop by when I’m in the Burbank area!!! Keep up the great customer service!

This used to be a cool little record shop that would buy and sell records &DVDS. I’m not sure what happened, but now it’s just another clothing store with a tiny record section in the back. I used to be so excited to bring new people here, but it’s not anything special now. So if you want socks with little marijuana leaves printed all over them for $ 26 then this is the place for you.

This place has an odd selection of records ranging from basic music listening level, to completely obscure cheap crap people have dumped there. The clothes are overpriced but they do have a great selection of local clothing lines. They also do a lot to support local music which I like as a musician myself. I understand the struggling local music store thing, but their prices really kill it for me. I’m intrigued by or drawn to what they sell, until I see the price tag. The staff are helpful and knowledgable to talk to.

Would have gone in, but it was closed at 1:15pm despite the hours saying they opened at 11am and there was even someone inside. Their sign said, «You blew it, we’re closed.» Well they blew it, a paying customer went somewhere else.”

Went to the backside today to see if they can consign my sneakers and they were more than helpful. Never been to the store and was a bit confused when the sign said backside records but I went inside and they literally have everything I need to keep my closet nice and fresh. definitely check them out if you’re looking to upgrade the wardrobe.

Been getting my clothes here for over 10 years, the best in LA for me. I always find really dope shirts, the kick selection has increased with a good selection. Thanks for always stocking good merch.

WARNINGWARNINGWARNING. This business offers Unilocalers who leave a 5 star review a 5% discount. I suspect that that is against Unilocal’s policy, and rightly so. Come to think about it, a 5% discount is a pretty cheap bribe. Should be more like 50%. However, be that as it may. Anyway, you have been warned.

Just purchased some records for a very good price. They have clothes, shoes, bags, shirts, skateboards, etc. You can find it all here. Definitely recommend it.

Only record store that carries vinyl from bands I like.(pop punk, hardcore, post hardcore, etc) Prices are fair and they give a lot of ways to get a discount. Parking is easy. Only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because last time I visited they were closed and it was 8. Their posted store hours state they are open until 9. I live about 25 minutes away and had to face LA traffic on the way there so it was pretty annoying that they were closed before their posted store hours.

This place has dope clothing, music, and accessories. The variety of clothing is legit, it’s really convenient to be able to pick up some acrylick shirts or tanks instead of online ordering. Check em out!

This place has a really nostalgic hip hop vibe. The clothing has a lot of variety and it’s hard to find a store with the brands backside has all under one roof. The music playing was great and there was a lot of selection in terms of vinyls and CDs

Backside is a cool shop, but I do wish they had a bigger record selection. The front of the shop is dominated by apparel, mainly t-shirts, and the records have been relegated to the back, all sort of squished together with a few CDs and audio tapes. I LOVE the variety in music media – I just wish there was more.

This place brings me back to the times when it was normal to spend your time hanging out in record stores to actually buy music. Remember those days? They seem fuzzy to me too. But I’m old enough to recall the joy of picking up a new CD, along with maybe a sticker, poster, or T-shirt, and all in person. Those were the days! This place seems to be keeping the tradition alive, and they’ve also brought in a hefty selection of clothing and accessories to help fund the place. I was most intrigued by their record selection — they seem to have a great range of genres and collectors’ items, too. But the clothing selection was pretty fun, too, especially for guys. Lots of fun T-shirts and hats you might not be able to find easily in other stores in the area. The store also hosts live music on some nights which I think is a great idea because people wandering the street after dinner or before a movie seem to like to pop in and check out the acts — a great way to promote local bands. Most of all, I just love that places like this still exist, and I hope that Burbank residents will continue to patronize it and support local biz and legit music!
