I recently took my computer to Computer Geeks and Edward is the man ! He brought my 2007 Gateway back to life! He had the patience and the knowledge to fix what was wrong with it. Any time i have a question or problems with my laptop, i go to Edward because he knows what he is doing and also is very helpful. Thank you Edward for your work!

So my laptop got infected with a whole lot of malware and viruses and what not, so it was pretty much useless. I came across this place in burbank, yeah yeah i know it is a hole in the wall but it got the job done. They charged me a fair price, the guy behind the counter was really chill and cool, i think his name is ed, but they know what they are doing, fast, easy, and cheap. Most definitely i will always be coming back to them for any of my computer issues.

I just wanted to thank Edward @Computer Geeks in Burbank for the best service I have had dealing with my computer problems. He was very patient in explaining what had happened when my computer was starting to run very slow and had lots of pop ups. He also took the time in explaining how to use the anti-virus tool he left in my computer for future protection. I would recommend Computer Geeks to my friends and family for all their computer problem needs. Thanks again Edward!!!

Funny story,(maybe),… My comp. went on the fritz when i let a Dell person take it over. So when i decided to take it to Best Buy, i was THRILLED when the guy said he would work the«miracle» to «fix» it. He sold me a new cord. Why mine had two seperate splices in it, escaped my thot that that was the problem. DUH! So, i just noticed that Edward @ Computer Geeks(on Verdugo n Burbank) has received 5 stars from 1 guy, &1, from another. I completely understand that. He is inconsistent & maybe in over his head for serious fixes. I wanted to reduce my favoribility rating as well, but come to think of it, this comp. of mine, Dell Inspiron 1720, is more than«I» can handle, on its last legs, i’m a novice at best, so many factors go into evaluating«service» doesn’t it? To me, it’s all a crap shoot. Am moving on to that tablet? something«3». Wish me luck! hahah

I’d like to thank Eddie for wonderful customer service! I had taken my laptop to three different places including best buy and frys which offered no solution for an unreasonable amount of money let alone time they wanted to keep my computer!!! I traveled a good distance and got everything taken care within the time and price I wanted! Thank you Edward and Steven for running an excellent business!

If I could give Edward zero stars, I absolutely would. I brought my laptop in because I was getting this blue screen of death(as I called it) I told Edward that 2 years ago, someone else attempted to fix it and removed my Windows 7 among other things and I just wanted it back the way it was. Edward informed me that it could be fixed. He skimmed the surface of what needed to be done and I now realize that was a huge mistake, including my own misguided judgement that it would all be so simple. He cleared everything off of my laptop. I lost my I-Tunes(and now I will lose everything that was on my phone as well since it’s no longer configured to my computer) I lost all my photos, videos, shows, movies, documents… everything. He only asked me if my laptop was backed up. I had a separate data drive on there, so that’s what I thought he meant. He failed to mention anything more about it. My laptop now runs slower, I get an insane amount of pop ups and when I received my computer back, my power button was BROKEN. And Edward claimed I brought it in that way. Now, I ask you this… if I knew my power button was sticking and NOTTURNINGON, wouldn’t I have asked for that to be fixed as well? What’s worse is that he NEVERFESSEDUPTOHISMISTAKE. I called the owner Steven and brought my laptop back the next day and Edward fixed my power button at no additional cost. The lack of integrity as well as customer service was on a level of truly disgusting. The owner Steven was kind and I could tell he genuinely felt bad over my loss of EVERYTHING. But in the end, business is business to him and I could tell that I would not get the answer or resolution that I wanted. BEWAREOFTHISBUSINESS. I paid $ 85 for shitty customer service.

We’ve used Computer Geeks at our business several times. They’ve always been great. They’re a small company, so sometimes they can’t get out to us right away, but it’s usually the next day or so. It’s quicker if you can bring the computer in to them. But regardless, they provide a fairly fast turnaround, and they’ve always fixed whatever problem the computers were having.

BEWARE! DONOTTRUSTTHISBUSINESS! I brought my laptop to Computer Geeks Inc. to get the firewire jack replaced. After paying $ 249, I got the computer back and nothing was fixed; so I brought it back to them. After literally 2 months of calls and waiting, they finally told me that while replacing the jack the motherboard was accidentally broken, and that it needed to be replaced. Weeks later, they then told me that such a motherboard is no longer manufactured, so I asked for reimbursement for my now useless computer. They said that it was not their responsibility. After several long argument sessions with them, I asked them to reimbursed only the money I paid for the initial repair. They then told me that they would reimburse $ 164 of the $ 249, but not the remaining $ 85 because it was a «diagnostic fee». I BASICALLYPAIDTHEM $ 85TOBREAKMYCOMPUTER. I could have easily done that at home for much less money. THISBUSINESSTAKESNORESPONSIBILITYFORTHEIRACTIONSANDAS A CUSTOMER I WASTREATEDLIKEDIRT. I have never had a worse interaction with any business or employee. DONOTTRUSTTHISBUSINESS!
