Just got to LA and am staying in the hotel connected to the restaurant. The first night I ordered tomatoe soup and the Red Quinoa & Arugula salad. The mister got the Manhattan soup and ribs. Yesterday for breakfast I ordered… when we finally ordered… the bagels and lox, the mister had a steak, eggs, and potato breakfast. Twenty minutes after finally ordering the waiter came back to ask me again what I ordered. Sigh… I thought the first night was a fluke but after the second try, I’m convinced that the service here just sucks. It took forever to finally get our food which could have been okay but everytime you asked the waitstaff for something they either took forever or came back with one thing and forgot the rest. They even brought and charged me for a cocktail I didn’t order. By that time I figured we needed it. The mister’s steak had to be sent back for a tiny bit more cooking. It came back overcooked. I’d like to blame this entire experience on being understaffed or busy neither of which were true. I even tried to reason that perhaps it was just us but when I overheard another family at the register complaining about how long it was taking to even get their bill and just wanting to go. I knew it wasn’t just our thing. I don’t say this often but we won’t be back.

This place is great! One meal can always be made into 2 different portions at least. The quality of food is great. All the appetizers are wonderful. Naked wings are awesome! Fried to perfection! French fries are really good too. Prices are a little high but honestly its worth the cost. All the salads are great. Hoping to try a pasta dish next go round which I’ve heard great things about as well.

I have visited this location several times. In the last few months it has gone down hill. Ladies beware the bartender is a total scammer. Who is standing behind the bar drinking a Corona. BTW why does he keep running to the back for long intervals? Had a salad that was basically cabbage and onion. Think I will have to rethink dinners when I am in town.

We’ve been here multiple times for various conventions. Each time we forget how wicked the food is here! I always get the meatloaf and my wife gets the quesadilla. Amazing service each time we come. The drinks are strong and the food portions are huge. We always take half home. Last time here we had to do a double take as they had twin waitresses working :) Who was who, we had no idea :) We’ll be back in September!

They end breakfast service at 11 on Sundays. A real missed opportunity in my opinion. Brunch would be a nice option at 11 rather than forced chicken pot pie. Food is what you expect, but I want brunch!

Well let me tell you. I am here for a convention and normally avoid the«overpriced hotel restaurants«but this one, is neither over priced or sub par. I have now eaten three meals here(don’t judge me) 2 dinners and one lunch and everything I have had is awesome. I would definitely make two food recommendations. 1. MUSTTRY the Buffalo Blue Chips… and yes add the bacon. They are served in the bar, happy hour menu… not on the registration menu. So divine. Then the BLTA sandwich is deliccious. I skipped the egg on mine, but the bread is super fresh and the bacon was perfect. Now, if you eat in the bar, make sure you get Gohar as your server. Top notch, perfect amount of attention and great recommendations.

They didn’t have the blackberry porkchops which is what made me want to come here in the first place, but what I got was amazing. The Moroccan chicken. Chicken wasn’t overlooked and was juicy, full of flavor and has a tzatziki sauce. The lettuce comes with citrus juice all over it(not dressing) and it made it so good. The vegetables were perfect and there was even Pinocchio!!! Great choice. The brown rice had basil and almond slivers which made it a excellent compliment. — only downside is everything is extremely expensive. Moroccan comes out to 20.17. All the dishes are around 20 $ or more

We had the greatest service ever!!! My mother and I came on a Thursday night for happy hour. Both of us have experience in food service and NEVER have we received more courteous, efficient, and pleasant service than when Sida waited on us. I have food allergies and she went above and beyond to accommodate with not even a hint that it was an inconvenience. Once again, GREATESTSERVICEEVER!!!

Food was not that bad. We ordered fried calamari and chicken quesadilla as appetizers and they are very good. I went for the simply grilled salmon with asparagus simply because it was a safe choice. BF ordered blackened tilapia and he said it wasn’t blackened at all but it still tasted good. The mashed potato that came with the steak was massive. A little overpriced consider the food and the atmosphere.

Had a great lunch here while attending a conference. Great food and EXCELLENT service for our party of 7. I believe our server was jenny and she was really great. A few of us had the BLTA and it was huge but delicious

What happened to the Daily Grill!?? We went for Mother’s Day buffet today. There was a cheap, measly corner of lukewarm food and they ran out of it. It was expensive, too. I’m embarrassed for you, DG. I could have had better at Tallyrand or Denny’s. What’s worse is it was a disappointment for my mom. :-(

We are giving this review on Mother’s Day where the only option was a TERRIBLE brunch. This was no better than an airport hotel buffet. Extremely DISAPPOINTING especially because their food is normally delicious. The food was cold. The selection was limited. They ran out of food and plates. The service was almost non-existent. For $ 40 each, this was a joke! The staff was nice, though, and knew it sucked.

I haven’t been back since the management was so awful awhile back. Her name was Linda. No clue if she still works there. Horrible woman, doesn’t care about customers. Overheard yelling at wait staff. Found was decent. Don’t try to send anything back!

This is our«go to» pre-flight restaurant for our usual flights out of Burbank. The food is good, the prices won’t kill you, and the service is very warm and engaging. They could be a TAD quicker, but they make up for it in being helpful. Katherine helped us this weekend. I recommend it!

Late post. Hate it when I forget to write a review. I love happy hour. The food is delicious. I’ve probably have every item on their happy hour menu plus martinis. Tried the Godiva Martina and it was good. Good parking, laid back scene with ppl enjoying after work snacks jr hotel guests from the Marriott that’s attached to restaurant.

Decided to try a new place for lunch that’s not to far from where I was working today. Came across the daily grill by the Burbank airport and thought I’d give it a try. I am very glad that I did! Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted, by two friendly individuals at the front desk. My party was escorted right away to a nice table with the view of the pool. Within what seemed like seconds we were greeted by a friendly, smiling waitress named Angela. She asked for our drink order and told us about the daily specials. Angela came back with our drinks rather quickly and we still hadn’t decided what we wanted to eat being our first time at the daily grill. Angela knew the menu very well and quickly made some recommendations on her favorite dishes(Jidori Chicken) as well as some of the more popular dishes on the menu(Chicken Pot Pie). I chose the Jidori and my friend selected the burger. Presentation on both plates was lovely and the food tasted great. After we finished our meal Angela asked if we would like to review the dessert menu. Their desserts are made from scratch and that’s what caused us to order dessert. Angela recommended the key lime pie and it was heavenly. In short, we will definitely be back to the daily grill and we will be asking for Angela again very soon!

I’ve been staying at the Burbank Marriott for years(over a hundred nights) and have been avoiding the restaurant attached to the hotel, The Daily Grill. After enduring poor service and mediocre food on several occupations in 2013, I decided to no longer subject myself to a subpar eating experience. On Valentines, Day 2016 we were in town for a music event. My 11-year-old daughter asked whether we could just stay in the hotel for breakfast. I suggested going across the street to a chain restaurant but she really wanted to go to the Daily Grill. As a Dad on Valentines Day, I unfortunately surrendered. When we arrived we were put in a booth with mirrors and low ceilings, the result is what can only be described as nothing less than an echo chamber, allowing us to hear in great volume and clarity every conversation on each side of our booth. We chose the buffet figuring«how badly can they screw up scrambled eggs, oatmeal and bacon.» Ah, but against all odds, they can. The eggs were cold, maybe left over from yesterday. The bacon was cold and the sausage was just downright disgusting. I made a really big mistake by adding fruit to my plate. While taking a bite of a berry, out came a bug… Pictures attached. I told the server about the cold food and bug and she was kind enough to take off my $ 21.95 buffet charge but charge my daughter $ 12.95 for muffin and a strip of bacon. It’s my fault, I knew the place was bad and I let an 11-year-old convince me that this time it might be good. Word to the wise, Denny’s across the street is way better and half the price… Update: February 16, 2016 After posting my review, I received an email from a Grill Concepts marketing Intern from(I guess they own The Daily Grill) asking if I would provide contact information so they could ask me about ways to improve their operation. I guess I wasn’t clear in my review… Let me recap, Fresh and hot food, bug free fruit and noise dampening roof tiles.

The Service: Our server, Maria, is wonderful! Super attentive and efficient. Great customer service! The Food: Ordered Chicken Pot Pie and Kale Salad Combo for $ 15.40. Very good deal~ Big portion of kale salad and big chicken pot pie(lots of chicken chucks). Definitely perfect to share. Fresh ingredient. They offer freshly made sourdough bread. The Parking: During lunch or dinner time, the parking lot gets crowded. They validate the parking. Overall, very pleasant dining experience. During lunch time, might be crowded, a little bit wait time.
