An actual wonderland! My jaw was on the floor as soon as I walked in, the games, the tea, the atmosphere is perfect :) Donna is an incredibly knowledgeable person when it comes to all things geeky. This place is a staple that holds part of my life together

This place is so adorable! Its a little hard to find as its tucked away from the roadway but you should make the effort to check it out. They have a great selection of lose leaf teas all with quirky geeky names and descriptions. The woman at the front desk was kind enough to make up some bags of tea for me that I wanted but were currently out of stock on the shelf, thanks! I have tried the Green Potion Tea, Goblin King, and Neverending StroTEA; All super yummy. Next time I’m in the area I will stop in and grab some more to try. Oh and the amount of tea in each bag is great, it takes a while to go through!

A cool, laid back place to hang out. A complimentary self serve pot of tea for guests is a nice extra. I purchased some tea, and the store was nice enough to offer me a tea pouch so i could have a cup right away. Store has a large selection of fandom inspired teas with tea pots and cups to match! Dr. Who, Harry Potter, steampunk, video games; whatever your flavor may be, you will find it here. Plenty of free street parking!

Tea Room, Nerd Media Store, Cat Rescue, Gaming Source, Confectionery Shop, place of wonder… how does one even begin to review Geeky Teas? From the moment you walk along the entryway and see the screen accurate TARDIS you know you are in for something truly special. You can find a great number of tasty custom crafted teas here in all sorts of flavors. Be it iced or hot, you’ll no doubt find more than a few flavors that you’ll want to take home. They also have a number of candies and treats from overseas that are better than what you’ll find in nearly any supermarket. My coworkers ask me to pick up candies and biscuits every time I head to Burbank. There are loads of games in the shop library which you can check out as well as a decent selection of games for purchase. I’ve built up quite a collection from them over the past year or so. They have a few nights of the week with a gaming focus so keep an eye on the calendar. The environment/atmosphere is very positive & welcoming, something that isn’t always the case in gaming environments. The ownership does a great job of keeping things family friendly and female friendly. Odds are strong there are also a few cats here up for adoption at any given time. The owner and her team have adopted out an incredible number of cats(and other animals) over the past few years. I adopted a wonderful kitten from them and feel so thankful for it. It’s extremely tough to write a review for Geeky Teas without sounding like a shill or paid reviewer because it’s a place very close to my heart. To try to qualify that, the owner and her team put genuine thought and care into what they sell in their store. They have various events throughout the week such as game nights, screenings, writing classes, guitar classes, costuming classes, and other events. Larger events like the Art of the TARDIS craft faire bring in dozens of vendors and hundreds of attendees, all their to share in their love of Doctor Who. I’ve made friends at these events I never would’ve met elsewhere. I’ve had my picture taken with a TARDIS. On any given day of the week I can stop by and meet interesting people and have a good conversation. Geeky Teas has created an atmosphere that is extremely positive and welcoming; the type of place that I’m happy to shop at.

If you love loose leaf teas, board games, British import snacks and other assorted geekery … well then you’ll be happy you stopped by. Seriously so many teas to choose from, I had no idea where to start, ended up with a Sir Hammerlock, it’s like an Earl Gray but with more flavor. There was even a game room where you can play board games(there are more games than I knew existed) and sip a featured tea too. I was impressed with their British food section, they had Irn Bru, I hadn’t seen that soda since I visited Scotland, and the real deal for UK chocolates. This place is delightfully dangerous, games, food, chocolate, geeky goods. Oh and did I mention there’s a Tardis out front and a full size dalek inside, wonder if that’s their security system?
