IHOP

Been a while since I’ve been at a IHOP. After a slight wait I was seated at one of their many booths. I’m sure I’m here earlier than their typical Saturday morning crowd as there were many open tables. My server was Renee (sp?) and always had a smile. Got the strawberry Rooty Tooty Fresh & Fruity pancakes with a side of eggs. Pancakes were as good as I remembered. Fluffy & light. Coffee is typical for the type of restaurant. Overall still a good value.

I love coming to this ihop! The staff is always super friendly! Especially Jason and Ruben! I’ve been there so much, I feel like I’ve known Ruben for a while. I used to go a lot during high school and me and my friend Connor be friended Ruben! Lol He just gave us such great service!:) And he’s always so happy! And the pancakes here are always great!:)

WAIT TIME IS UNREAL! Took over an hour for a 2 person meal when there was like nobody else in the restaurant. The waiter checked up on us once during that one hour wait, really? He was helping out some people next to us and when he was done helping them and started walking off and I said, «excuse me,» and he said very rudely, «wait.» uh… okay? He then walked off and came back 10 minutes later. When he did come back, all he did was tell us that our food will be ready soon and then said he would get me more water but didn’t return with water until about 10 minutes later. Very rude! ALSO DO NOT GET THE BURGERS. I don’t know what I was thinking getting a burger at a breakfast place. I made this mistake twice (two different burgers) and they were both terrible burgers! Nice breakfast though, very tasty but somewhat expensive.

It’s an IHOP. It’s always packed on weekends but has decent food. Once got old pancakes under a fresh one and once was asked by a busboy to return the hash browns my husband was eating because they didn’t come with his order.
It takes forever usually but when you’re craving pancakes it satisfies. Better to go down to Bea Bea’s by the hospital if you have the time.

Small IHOP, compared to others. Sweet ladies working here. The food is good and ones out quick.

I grew up in Burbank and have always dined-​in at this location. There’s friendly and attentive staff; the girl at the front even gave us a booth upon request. However, my mom ordered a Colorado Omelet and after trying to make it work, finally told me the meat tasted dull and unpleasant. The plate of food even looked unattractive so and i split my breakfast with her, thinking it wasn’t a big deal. Nevertheless, throughout the day, she was feeling ill and we had to stay home. She ended up with food poisoning. Never returning.

I felt rush yesterday morning around 11 am (01/​13/​2016) I went there for all you can eat pancakes and during the second plate I gave them my credit card because I felt they was watching me to make sure I didn’t walk out on the bill. I was only wearing a t shirt and jeans and most people was a little dress up. The manager asked me if that was it? I asked for a couple of more pancakes and ate most of it and then got up to use the bathroom and when I got back they cleaned off my so I left.
They need work on customer service…

Been here many times with the family. The service is always good and supremely nice. The food never fails to disappoint and never last long once it arrives at the table… lol. For those who complain about being busy maybe think twice before arriving on a weekend morning especially Sundays. It you cannot wait for good food and service then hit up Mcdonalds down the street!

This review is strictly about the service:
We just left the location after waiting ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. The hostess sat us right away but we waited and waited for anyone to say hello, drinks, I’ll be right with you… anything but we got nothing. Finally a waitress walked over didn’t even look our way, asked the table next to us if they needed anything else and walked away. That was the final straw. All the woman were walking around as if nothing mattered, no sense of urgency and no sense of their surroundings. We left, came to Lancers, sat down got coffee and ordered, all in 3mins. Completely lack of communication from the hostess to the waitresses.

Food was good tonight. BUT. There service was so damn slow! The place had a few patrons in here. They didn’t bother to check in on us. And when we wanted to pay. OMG. Salllooowwww

Terrible service… Not a very clean place overall… I can’t believe that in this day and age the focus on customer service and cleanliness is lacking to this extent. Also, how on earth is it possible for a breakfast place to not be able to serve soft-​boiled eggs? I have truly never even heard of such a thing. Shame on you guys. Will never be back.
Management, I understand that you see yourselves as a lower level restaurant, nonetheless, step up your game, teacher people all about customer service and cleanliness.

I want to Thank IHOP. We came here on Veterans Day and management came over and said that he would cover our meal for my service in the military. I appreciate the kindness. Thank you !!!

Coming with 13 people at 2 am in the morning, our server Aldo, while serving many other customers, did a very good job at keeping up with everything. The food was great, as I expected! Pretty good visit, definitely a loyal supporter of IHOP.

If it’s busy, be prepared to wait forever and get really bad service. We weren’t even offered drinks for the first 15 minutes of sitting down. The food took forever and the service non existent. I think we were helped by every other server than our own.
Our server was Abel.
We have had great service when it’s busy before and love this place otherwise. This left a bad taste for the service in our mouth.

Plus to get my check our waiter passed us more thant 6 times and did not attend us when we needed him. He mest up our checks and we asked for seprate checks but instead gave us a 1 shole check. Very bad service!

I love coming to IHOP after a wild night out with my friends. I’ve been coming to this location for years. First with my family and now with my friends. We used to come early morning on the weekends, but they’re always so packed, we’d rather go before the brunch rush or after.
Their omelets are my favorite, I know they use pancake batter which makes them so fluffy, but they are so good. I really like the seafood one they used to serve for a while, don’t know if they do anymore. The colorado was my 2^nd favorite, but since I don’t eat meat and i’m a little more conscious of what goes on in my body (blah blah) my go-​to lately is the fit fare egg white veggie omelete. My ‘cheat’ on the meal though, has got to be the pancakes. I haven’t been to many breakfast ‘restaurants’ before, but trust me on this, ihop serves the best pancakes. Ugh! so fluffy and moist, yes, i used the word moist (sorry)
Besides their breakfast options, other items served here can be hit or miss. I’ve gotten fish that’s been waaay overcooked. Burnt to a crisp and steak that is so dry, you’d need to shower it in a1 sauce.
Other than that, plenty of seating inside, even on a busy day, no longer than a 10 minute wait. The service is pretty good around here, refilling coffee cups when they notice it might be getting empty. Good location, clean.

I’ve been going to this IHOP for years so I’m going to try and keep this review as honest and unbiased as possible.
I absolutely love this IHOP. The pancakes and service are equally amazing, and that’s all that really matters. Unfortunately the other food and dinner options can be hit or miss, but who cares. Their classic buttermilk pancakes are fluffy and beautiful in every way.
I made the mistake of getting pancakes at Denny’s once. Never again.

The Service: My server, Alfredo, is fantastic! He is the only server during that time. He is very efficient and totally takes care every table. Not being ignored at anytime.

When I lived in Burbank, I use to come here once in a while. During the week, there’s usually no wait but weekends can be pretty busy. I remember breakfasts here being pretty good.
Few weeks ago, my mom wanted me to bring her here for lunch. She ended up ordering breakfast and I ordered a fish sandwich that came with fries.
She had no complains about her food and actually enjoyed it. My sandwich was pretty gross. The bottom part had the tartar sauce with very wet lettuce and tomato slice. Let’s just say that the bottom of the sandwich was uneatable slime. The fish batter would have been great if it wasn’t burnt.
Since I was in a good mood, I didn’t feel like complaining. I removed the burnt batter and ate what ever part of the fish I could salvage.
Not sure if I’ll be back. But if I do come back, I will only order breakfast.

Wait time: Half an hour.
Food: Delicious and reasonable time.
Service: Very nice.
Environment: Good.
Would come again? YES.
My family and I have had a little too much of Norms so we tried something new. My goodness, that wait time was just terrible BUT take the time and interact with your family or with yourself… Appropriately. There’s also a large booth you can sit on while waiting. My waiter was very nice and checked on us very often. The place feels clean and very homey. My whole family had a very good experience and so did I. It’s tremendously close to the Burbank mall, Ikea, Burbank High School and so many more food places and entertainment so pop in for the wait time and if it’s not your cup of tea, head somewhere nearby but give it a try!!!
