I loved the food and the environment! The back room is filled with drawings of nickelodeon and Cartoon Network characters. I had the French toast and a sample of the corn beef hash. Savory, sweet, soft, and delicious this place deserves five stars!

My needs are simple: Tofu scramble. And some coffee. Curiously, given that California and LA in particular are generally veggie/vegan friendly areas, I couldn’t find a tofu scramble in downtown Burbank to save my life.(The only other one I know of is at Bea Bea’s, way on the other side of town.) Every few months I do the«tofu scramble» search on Unilocal!,and finally got a hit on Moore’s this morning. It did not disappoint! Low-key yet hipsterish place where you order at the counter and they bring food to you. Very friendly folk. The back room(doubtless due to proximity to stones-throw-away Cartoon Network HQ) is filled with graffiti featuring your favorite cartoon and animé characters, beautifully rendered. The tofu scramble normally comes with eggs, but order it without for a perfectly vegan meal. Really tasty blend of seasoned(soy/tamari) tofu cubes with spinach, brown crimini mushrooms, and red bell pepper. Healthy but not grotesque portion, plus toast. Fantastic clean & healthy breakfast. I’ll be back!

Finally had a chance to check this place out. Don’t know what took me so long. Anyways came in for lunch and since it was saturday i got to order breakfast items. Got the classic breakfast combo. Sunny side up eggs, home fries, toast, and bacon. Simple and perfect just how i like it. Home fries were decent. Liked that it was spicy. The eggs cooked to perfection as well as the bacon. Overall the meal was fantastic as nothing tasted bad. One of the best places to eat in burbank tbh.

This restaurant is located right by the BPD and in the downtown area just off the main strip. The menu is huge and since I’ve only been there twice I haven’t tried a lot of their stuff but here’s what I thought about the couple of hot sandwiches I did try. I had the corned beef Rouben and another time the Cuban sandwich. Sandwiches are decent sized but they don’t come with fries. I didn’t like the way the Cuban was made because of the amount of mayo they put on. I’m not a picky eater but I had to remove about a table spoon full to be able to eat it but the taste was just fine. The Rouben was just ok and nothing to write home about. There are definitely many better deli style restaurants out there but if you’re in the area and super hungry why not Location 7⁄10 Service 3⁄10 Food 4⁄10

Moore’s Delicatessen is right down the street from my office, and I already know I will be frequenting this joint. Note: Street parking only, but there is normally plenty around Burbank. When you walk in you feel as though you’re in a classic yet trendy mom and pop diner. There is an extensive menu of sandwiches, salads, and soup, and a lot of different tea and drink choices. You order at the counter, and then take a seat because they bring the food to you. The service was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I requested my own revised version of a sandwich on the menu and they were happy to deliver. I ordered the Turkey Sandwich off the Cold Sandwiches section, but requested they add brie and toast it. Once we ordered we took a seat. There is both indoor and patio seating, and we opted for patio. The sandwich came out in a timely manner and was delicious! I love anything and everything brie so I was happy they had that on the menu. The potato salad that comes with the sandwiches was only okay, I didn’t eat much of it. It would be nice if they offered a different type of side with the sandwiches. Overall, it’s a great lunch stop if you’re in the area and looking for a healthy option, or if you work somewhere on this block. I definitely recommend!

This place is a dump. Crappy parking. Weird seating. You have to pay before you eat. There is no wait service. Even coffee is a hassle. The food was mediocre. The back room had a a bunch of men having a Bible study class there, talking loudly and glibly about religion. They put a bunch of tables together leaving only a few for people who were actually eating. The workers didn’t seem to mind.

Let me start by saying, my father used to make the BEST breakfast when I was a kid(bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, peppers, onions, potatoes). I’ve never come close to anything tasting so like home than Moore’s Delicatessen! It’s a cozy café with enough seating for the business they get as well as a patio outside. You order up at the counter and take your seat. They bring the food out to you, if you want water you can serve it up yourself at the water dispenser on the counter. They have an expresso machine, they do coffee for the mornings and serve beer at night. I have only ever seen the same few people working and they are all friendly and welcoming. I have breakfast here a few times a week and I only come for the Meat Breakfast Burrito! It’s the perfect filling size and comes with a side of Pico de Gallo. I never leave here feeling overstuffed or hungry, a perfect medium of a satisfied appetite. I have only been here for breakfast although they serve lunch and dinner as well; and I’ll definitely be back to try out the whole menu(which is huge by the way). There are so many choices it’s almost hard to decide. I’m honestly not sure what the person the left the one star review about the breakfast burrito was complaining about. 8 dollars is pretty standard at any restaurant for a burrito of this quality unless your at McDonald’s or Jack in the Box. And«limited» menu? Next time I’ll take a picture of it and post it here because the menu has lots of variety.

We ate in the backroom, where all the wall art is! Awesome place, nice people and good food. I highly recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes!

$ 8 for a breakfast burrito. It was served with a side of diced tomato, onion, and jalapeño in a small condiment container. The burrito was standard eggs, cheese and potato wrapped in a tortilla. As others have mentioned the food was unexceptionally standard and tasted standard. They’re overpriced for what they serve on their limited menu. I only ate here because my friend insisted on having breakfast here. It feels almost like they price their food to attract a particular type of customer. Classism? I’m on the hunt for a good breakfast place nearby that’s friendly to my wallet. They’re out there I know it.

What a nice surprise! Popped in here for breakfast on a whim. We’ve walked by 1000s of times and never went in. Very very pleased and happy. Great vibe. Friendly service. And excellent breakfast. I had the beet hash which was very good, and my husband had the fried egg sandwich that reminded him of the type you can get back in NY. Coffee was good, music playing was all from the 80s. We may have found our go to breakfast spot

Came here for the first time today. Ordered a tuna melt and pastrami sandwich. Everything was de – licious! Fresh food & great service. A must try, if you’re in the area. The location is really cute. They have inside and outside seating, a nice view to people watch and good tunes. They also have a coffee bar, pastries, and serve beer.

I really wanted to like this place because Moore is my family name, but I was highly disappointed. My mom and I came here one Thursday night a few months ago, because it’s the only night it’s open after we get off of work. We had no idea that they do trivia nights, so the whole time there was someone talking into a microphone asking questions customers would answer in teams on paper. Their speaker system for this place is really not good so it the whole event was annoying and unexpected. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich and my mom went with Corned Beef. The meat for both sandwiches were good but the bread was SUPER disappointing. I’d read other reviews that said Moore’s doesn’t use«real rye bread» and I wasn’t sure what that meant. I get it now. They basically use some type of white bread that ends up falling apart from the mustard. They don’t even toast it! Then the sandwiches came with a «side of potato salad.» And by a side of potato salad it’s a minuscule scoop into a tiny plastic cup. It also wasn’t anything to write home about. For what we paid for I was expecting a lot more. Overall this place is okay. If you’re not looking for a loud crowd, don’t come on Thursday nights. If they used better quality bread and weren’t so stingy about the sides, I’d have given a better review.

Meet friends here most Thursday nights here for trivia night. First time here a few weeks ago. Ordered a tuna melt. Delicious. As was the side of potato salad. Family run deli with an old school vibe. Bake fresh chocolate chip cookies, warm from the oven. Delicious coffee. Love this place!

AREYOUKIDDINGME??? I just paid $ 9 for a sub with nothing but meat, cheese, and mayo. «All subs served with romaine lettuce, red onion, tomato, olive oil and vinegar, pepper and oregano on an Italian roll. Italian — ham, salami, mortadella, provolone, roast beef and provolone or turkey and Swiss.» I feel like this place just stole from me. I haven’t been this disappointed since they canceled Quantum Leap. Never again. I’d give them zero stars if I could.

I remember riding down to Moore’s on my skateboard about 6 years ago. This place has gone through some tremendous change(in a good way), and continues to get better each year. It would be hard to recommend any one meal and drink because they’re all so good. If I had to choose though, I’d say my «go to» is the breakfast burrito(unlimited extra toppings for no extra charge), and a black coffee(from intelligentsia). In addition to the amazing work they do in the kitchen, the atmosphere of Moore’s is freaking awesome. Two large rooms seperated by a long stretch of hallway and a nice open patio. Without going into too much detail, just come in and give this place a shot. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and it’s a great place to enjoy the company of friends.

I had the breakfast burrito and coffee. Both were good! And decent price $ 9 I’ll be definitely be back for lunch and a tasty brew! Menu looks good. They are dog friendly, but you can’t take them inside. It was just me and my dog, so the lady was nice enough to take my order outside.

Moore’s Deli is off to a great start with a great selection of typical deli selections to choose from. I had The Cuban sandwich with a Barq’s Root and sat outside on a comfortable dining area. The sandwich was done in a simple fashion with a homemade pickle. The meat was cooked just right as to keep it tender with just a light crust for the crunch. The staff was quick with the order being brought to my table and did it with a genuine smile. They even checked up on me to see if I needed anything. Their attention to detail was wonderful and refreshing for a local(non chain) deli. I would most definitely be coming here again when I’m in town on business.

I usually hate giving bad reviews, but I must give Moore’s only 2 stars, and that’s being kind of generous. I’ve always wanted to come here, and I finally dragged my friend here for breakfast. Parking is easy(in the morning, weekday), sooo many spaces all around. I chose this place also because they have outdoor seating, which was lucky because it was soooo hot inside, we weren’t able to stay in there for long. My friend ordered a custom omelette and I ordered the one with smoked salmon. Both were gross. Everything was a little cold, though the meals were made quickly and served to us within 10 minutes of us ordering. No clue how it got cold. Everything lacked flavor. Believe it or not, my favorite things were the wheat toast and the coffee. There was a small hair on my toast, sorry to say. I picked it off easily enough because it was just on the toast, but it was less than appetizing. Service was friendly, I’ll give them that. Our 2 omelettes + coffee came out to $ 24 exactly, which was way more than I thought it was worth. Selection is somewhat limited, yes, but if they really nailed everything, that would be ok with me. Unfortunately, they dropped the ball on breakfast, and I felt guilty for picking out this place for us to try. I’m only writing this review in the name of constructive criticism, as I feel that they could improve and hopefully will.

Moore coffee please! What turned me on to turn the corner and stop for a quick breakfast was their advertisement for Intelligentsia Coffee! My colleague and I came for a quick bite and I ordered the Tofu Scramble and he had the Breakfast Plate. Both breakfast included toast and we ordered coffee. My Tofu Scramble was just right. It wasn’t spectacular, but it was good. It had fresh spinach, fresh mushrooms and the tofu was firm and cubed. The staff are friendly and came by often to see if all was going well. They have patio seating and facility is kept clean. Would I come back? Heck yeah!

I am on a continual quest for a few«best» items. Best Carne Asada soft tacos, best hot pastrami sandwich, that sort of thing. Today was my first trip to this spot. It is close to my home which made things pretty easy. Parking was easy. I checked in on Unilocal as I generally do and there was a check in perk for a free fountain drink which I used. I posted a shot on Instagram(as is pretty typical of me as well) which finds it’s way to my facebook, twitter and other social media pages. My first comment on the Instagram post: So far so good. The bread is soft and fresh, the #pastrami looks good, two pickles and potato salad included and less than half the price of my favorite place for pastrami, @langersdeli. Time to eat it for #lunch My final comment: The verdict. OK but not high on my list. The rye lacked the crunch crust. The pastrami was industrial stuff reheated. Decent but not great. The quantity was nice for the money but Langer’s at twice the money is five times the meal and experience. @langersdeli is still number one in my book. Bottom line. The place was nice inside and comfortable. The staff and service were top notch. The sandwich was quite good, just just in the same caliber as my favorite pastrami folks. This is a nice place and I will return as they run a nice place and there are other items on the menu worth a try. So, as things stand after this visit for«My current personal list» for best pastrami is(1) Langer’s Deli in #DTLA,(2) Canter’s Deli on Fairfax in Los Angeles and(3) Carnegie Deli in Las Vegas 2÷19÷15 Update: I had another pastrami sandwich here this evening. This was my third pastrami sandwich at this establishment. I was going to try their corned beef which I had been told was exceptional but the owner suggested I try the pastrami as he had made some changes. Bottom line … a bit of a rethink on my part was indicated. A restaurant is more than just the food. I am sure there are many one star reviews on Unilocal where the food was very good but the service was horrid. I had given Langer’s Deli five stars and the pastrami here moved up on the scale, enough that my top three are now(1) Langer’s,(2) Moore’s Deli,(3) Canter’s. I still prefer the rye at Langer’s with that very hard and crispy crust but that is a personal preference and some folks may not agree with me. If I give Langer’s five stars, this place deserves five stars as well. The pastrami is exceptional but … it is also half the price of Langer’s which is pretty sweet. The service at Moore’s is exceptional. All of the staff are great. The place is a nice environment where folks also drink coffee and just hang out. The place has a cool vibe, indoor and outside seating too. I don’t think you would go to Langer’s to hang and talk. There is ample street parking and two lots. No parking problems here. So … I have updated my review to five stars. I guess Moore means«more» to me on a number of fronts. Moore Sailboats in Santa Cruz built my favorite boat, Spitfire. Moore N Moore Sporting Clays is my favorite shotgun facility in SoCal. Moore’s Deli continues the Moore tradition it seems ;)
