Meh. Pastrami Reuben Deluxe was not bad but not good either. They didn’t have several things on the menu the day I came in. BTW There are no cupcakes. I was told the cupcakes had to be ordered ahead of time. Service was ok. Overall experience was disappointing.

This place is nothing less of amazing! There isn’t a single thing on the menu that I haven’t enjoyed. I’ve pretty much tried everything and not one disappointed. My favorites are the cheesesteak, famous grilled chicken, and the pastrami(And im usually not a fan of pastrami). It was recommended so many times though that i had to try is and boy am I glad I did. It literally melts in your mouth! Also, don’t get me started on the cupcakes they also sell there. It’s their partner store called cupcake kissis so both are working from the same location! Uh hello?! Who doesn’t want amazing dessert to follow their meal? These little things are so small, yet so darn delicious. I could probably eat two dozen of them! The atmosphere is very chill and laid back too so don’t be afraid to bring in that laptop of yours and get some work done. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Seriously if you haven’t given this place a try I don’t know what you’re waiting for. Get to it! You won’t regret it.

I really like this place for lunch. I work close by so i always end up here. I like all their food. Spicy bad boy sandwich/wrap is my fav and the humus salad is really yummy, all their salads are yummy actually! The place is small and more of a to go atmosphere.

NOTWORTHTHE2HOURWAIT!!! i’m super bummed with my experience. about 40 mins AFTER i placed the order, they called to tell me that they ran out of avocado for the Tuna Avocado sandwich. i asked if there was a price deduction since i wasn’t going to get avocado but… nope. don’t most places up-charge for avocado? i thought it was a valid question. they must be out of cheese as well, b/c that was missing from my sandwich too. anyway, i literally just forced myself to eat half the tuna sandwich and threw the rest away. perhaps i had high expectations b/c of the 2 hour wait for delivery, but the food was just not good. the tuna tasted rotten but i was starving so as i mentioned, i forced myself to eat half of it. i also ordered a salad with balsamic dressing but received italian. cool. i could have gotten a better meal fro subway.

They need to rename that cheesesteak the mayosteak. There was more mayonnaise than cheese. It was almost comical the way it squeezed out when you bit into it. It was a shame, too, because aside from the mayo and surprising lack of cheese, the filling was alright. I’m sure the rest of their menu is alright, given that they’re reviewed so favorably on here — but just going by the cheesesteak, I would never want to order from here again. If I do, I’ll make sure to ask them to hold the mayo. Also, the fries, though tasty, were incredibly soggy, limp and greasy. It was weird.

Do not order the Pauly’s Cheesesteak quite possibly the second worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had. In addition to it being overpriced at $ 13 it’s a tiny little sandwich and takes over 20 minutes to make. The thing is 80% bread and hard as a rock. There was one customer waiting for his order when I walked in and ordered, 15 minutes later two other customers came in ordered and received their food before me. Then 5 minutes after that I got my sandwich. There’s no one else in here! I wish I could turn back time and never ordered here. Now I have to go to another restaurant and get more food because I’m still hungry.

This place is good sandwich spot. Lots of choices. Triple play is a favorite. I hear the cupcakes rock. Revised: I have had really good sandwiches here. It’s a little to inconsistent. My company orders for us. Most of the time the food is good and filling. Today was not that. Turkey sandwich drenched in mayo and no avocado to boast. The order was placed online with clear instructions no mayo add avocado. Wish there was something I could do. No time to get something else. Lunch fail today.

I usually don’t rate a place on customer service but this place automatically loses a star for their service. I placed a phone order for 6 burritos and they said 30 – 45 minutes. I was ok with that thinking they were busy. When I got there, there were 0 customers there and nothing on the grill. I waited there for about 40 minutes and not one customer walked in. Why the long wait? I have no idea especially since there were 3 people behind the counter. When I called to ask what was in the breakfast burrito, the girl told me the ingredients which also included hot sauce/salsa. When I was paying for my order, I asked for extra hot sauce/salsa and they bought out packets of tapatio. I asked if that was what they used in the burrito and she said there is no hot sauce/salsa in the burrito. I told them, when I called, they told me it included it. The girl in the back got defensive and told me she never said it was in the Burrito. Since I am a mature adult, I told her I probably heard her wrong because I wasnt there to argue. Just an FYI, a burrito is not a burrito if it doesn’t have some sort of hot sauce/salsa. Tapatio isn’t going to cut it. Chop some serrano peppers, onions, cilantro, garlic, and tomato. The basturma and soujux burritos were very good. They would be excellent if there was salsa in it. I will go back for the burrito but won’t be looking forward to their service.

Yum! My husband and I both ordered large turkey with bacon sandwiches and the bacon was perfectly crispy! Just a good, all around sandwich and very nice service. Would recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a quick, light lunch.

First time here and won’t be the last. Staff is great and friendly. Pastrami to die for. Wife said the Italian was good. If you’re gonna order the pastrami, ask the gentleman to make it the way he makes it. It’s BOOOMB!!! Nice place for lunch. But I would call and order before you go. Good sandwiches take time to make.

4 stars I only came to get cupcakes for my family. Cute and tasty lil guys totally overpriced but it’s the novelty you pay for. $ 10 for a dozen they are the size of a quarter. I do love the menu as they have loads of healthy options. But I have not had a chance to try anything because they are closed at random times. Hope to change that and grab some dinner soon.

The Famous Grilled Chicken sandwich was okay. The chicken was a bit dry and bland. There was a sauce or mayo on it but it lacked flavor. The mozzarella cheese didn’t quite give it any more taste and the bread was chewy in certain parts. Also tried the pastrami sandwich and it was slightly better but nothing very special. However, I was especially disappointed with the grilled, vegetables. They were pre grilled, soft and were just heated for my order. I realize its hard to grill veggies on the spot but microwaved tasting veggies are just not the same, even though they’re grilled at some point. Perhaps there’s better things on the menu, but to be honest, having to read through the lengthy list of items is way too much effort just to come out with an okay meal.

I love this place! I can’t get enough of the pastrami. I have almost tried everything and I still haven’t found something I don’t like. If you don’t find something you like on the menu they will make something custom, I just tell the guy what I’m in the mood for and it’s a done deal. And for dessert they got mini cup cakes which I can eat a dozen. They are sandwich whisperers. And the fries are BOMB!

They get 2 stars cuz the burritos weren’t bad… But damn, these people need to learn something about service. Like, don’t leave a old Coffee Bean cup on the counter where your putting my food… Or don’t come out dressed in gym shorts and a raggy t-shirt and then not acknowledge the only 2 people in the restaurant who been waiting 30 minutes for coffee. Okay so, we went in, and they had been open for several hours, but nothing was prepped. NOTHING. We ordered coffee and burritos, and waited 45 minutes for the burritos to be ready. I figured that’s okay, I can sip on my coffee in the meantime, but no, the coffee was not ready, and it took them half an hour to figure out how to make coffee in the coffee machine. Finally we get our burritos, put on the counter for us, next to an old Coffee Bean cup, and there is no «sorry about the wait» or «enjoy» or anything. They put the burritos on the counter yell, «here» and then walk away. And the next moment they are watching(really loud) youtube videos. So I guess I would like to apologize to them for walking in and ordering stuff and ruining their youtube watching time. Oh by the way, my coffee had grinds in it! 30 minutes late and I couldn’t even get a decent cup of coffee.

Pauly’s Place is a wonderful new alternative to the same old food spots in Glendale. No need to go to Taco Bell, Subway, or McDonald’s anymore. Why waste your money on something that’s been sitting under a hot lamp for hours, maybe days, when you can have a quality meal made right when you order it? This deli offers numerous gourmet, yet reasonably priced wraps, salads, sandwiches, pastas, and kebab plates to satisfy any appetite. I’ve been to the deli a few times and tried out several dishes. So far, I’ve had the Turkey Pesto, Italian Grinder, BLT, Spicy Bad Boy, Pauly’s Cheesesteak(NEW) and Bacon Wedge Salad. What’s great about this deli is they use really good quality ingredients, so everything tastes really delicious. You could go into this place every day and try something new. Keep an open mind because everything is really delicious. After talking with the owner a few times, I found out he has several years of cooking experience, all learned while honing his skills back in Cranston, Rhode Island. His passion for food has brought a new gem to Glendale and it’s surrounding areas. You will always get service with a smile from Aram coming into the deli, and the other hosts and cooks are extremely friendly and informative as well. I hope this deli can open another location in surrounding cities like North Hollywood and Burbank. Go out and try Pauly’s Place soon, you wont be sorry!!! PS. They also sell great cupcakes!!!

I stumbled upon this place a few weeks ago and was blown away at not only the variety of options they had available but also at how welcoming everyone was. I decided to go with Pauly’s Cheesestake, and LETMETELLYOU! It was melted cheesy steaky heaveny goodness. I mean, seriously, you need this sandwich in your life. I was obviously hooked and needed to go back to try the other items. I’ve had other sandwiches from their Spicey Bad Boy(it’s illegal how good this sandwich is) to their salads which are very refreshing. All in all, I would totally recommend this place for their awesome breakfast burritos, to their sandwiches for lunch, and even their light healthy salads for dinner.

This place is having it’s grand opening end of July and I already have heard that the breakfast burrito is the best in town! All the ingredients are very fresh and the people behind the counter are extremely friendly. They helped me pick out what to get and more than satisfied my needs! I am definitely going to come back here with an even bigger appetite and try the spicy bad boy! That’s next on the menu! But back to the burrito! The flavors are just right and you can smell how fresh the ingredients are! The salsa is amazing! Just the right amount of spice!(It is a tinyyyyyy bit spicy, but that’s why it’s so good!) If I could come and eat here every morning before work, I will!!! See you soon Paulys Place! So far holding up to it’s name of gourmet! Thank you!!!

There’s a new spot in town and it’s already a five star! I ordered My Big Fat Greek Salad and added chicken for only $ 1 extra! This is a flavorful salad that has everything you want! It came with feta cheese, red onions, marinated red peppers, black olives and romaine lettuce. The added chicken was a generous amount and perfect for lunch. The have one of those new Coca Cola fountain machines that offers hundreds of flavor options that you never see like Diet Vanilla Coke. The menu is very comprehensive and has something for everyone. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner but I didn’t see any delivery. Catering is available too. They are still in the opening phase so you might see some equipment being installed or new employees being trained but I expect some good things out of this place. Highly recommend it for a quick lunch.
