Very authentic and cute place so have a quick lunch with a friend. Parking and seating may be a problem but other than that the owner, Lily, is extremely nice and will make sure your order is out quickly and it is made right. I recommend the tuna salad! Has a lot going on but it is very filling and delicious. Will need to try the soup when I go again.

Cute café with healthy, fresh food and good ingredients! Haven’t been here since high school but I was searching for soup to help with my sickness and remembered this place. Glad I came back, I’m hooked again! FOOD: Broccoli Soup(3.5 stars): Good soup but there is literally only broccoli in this so make sure you love broccoli. You can tell it’s healthy and fresh, I just needed another flavor to balance it out. Chicken Noodle Soup(4 stars): When you are sick, this hits the spot! Love the thinner noodles in this. And the chicken meat was good. Very flavorful. Split Pea Soup(5 stars): So Good! Lots of flavor. Turkey Chili(5 stars): Really good chili. Get your protein fix in. All soups come with 2 pieces of bread. The types of bread changed each time but they are all really good. DESSERT: Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie(3 stars): The cookie was okay. Will still satisfy you if you need a quick cookie fix. Carrot Zucchini Bread(4 stars): I’d recommend this over the cookie. Very flavorful, lots of stuff in here, like nuts and raisins. Carrot Cake(3.5 stars): Good cake but not the typical carrot cake. I usually love carrot cake for the cream cheese frosting. This has more of a white chocolate frosting. Wish the desserts were labeled with ingredients. Be careful with them if you have allergies! I guess just ask Lily what’s in them before buying it. ATMOSPHERE: Cute little café. Very clean. I have come after 1:30PM and it wasn’t too busy. I’m sure around noon it’s packed. There are a couple of tables and a bar area to sit at inside. Cash only. SERVICE(5 stars) Lily is so personable. You can tell she cares about her customers. You can call in your pick up orders if you’re in a rush. PARKING Street parking. Wasn’t hard to find after 1PM.

My family and I have been coming here for 10+ years. Lily’s Café is right down our street so we’ve definitely taken advantage of it. I love that everything is made fresh(no packaged stuff), and her jello and home-made lemonade are to die for! If you’re ever looking to eat a delicious, homey meal, Lily’s Café is the place to go.

Have not tried anything else from here besides the amazing carrot cake!!! If you are a carrot cake fan, this is definitely the place to pick up a slice! The owner here here is very sweet and comforting. I will be back here soon to try the food menu.

Cash only. Ok the most important thing has been said. Besides payment method being a little behind the times that doesn’t stop people from patronizing this business. The food keeps people coming back. Very simple dishes that are fresh and delicious, filling and reasonably priced.

No parking, no credit or debit cards, but AMAZING and simple food. Lunch, dessert, and coffee were all delish! Definitely will go again! Went at 11:30 and there was plenty of seating, but by noon it was packed. Service is a bit slower when they’re busy too, so probably not the place to go if you’re in a hurry.

The service here is great, the price is reasonable. I always get the Max 2, and it is meets my standards. The only suggestion I would have for Lily is to get better coffee(it’s ehhh). This being a diner-like place, that might be a tall order.

5 stars for such a friendly and welcoming experience. Lily’s is a small spot near Cartoon Network in downtown Burbank. The sign is hard to read, which is a shame, because it might divert people away from this cute little shop. It’s a very small place, and they only take cash, but it’s got a charming feel and the garden-style décor conjures up a quaint, rustic vibe. I really enjoyed my experience here in large part because the woman who runs it was very friendly. From the moment I walked in this tiny spot, I was noticed and welcomed. The woman asked me about my day, asked if I worked in the area, and even asked if I wanted water after I had already settled down, drink-less. A simple gesture that I appreciated after I had forgotten to order a drink. As an added bonus to the the food is pretty tasty. I got a smoked turkey sandwich on ciabatta and it was very tasty. Nothing too fancy, but everything was fresh and freshly prepared. I also found the tart mustard – maybe a Dijon or something – to accent the sandwich quite nicely. Altogether, I’m very glad I came here. I think you will be, too, if you come here.

I love Lily’s Caprese Salad. I get it every time. She only takes cash and the place is pretty small and gets crowded during the lunch rush. We always ordered at least 30 minutes prior to picking up.

Amazing, nice and very clean. A very good way to start the afternoon. First time here and will be back. My lovely lady got the house salad with chilly on the side and for me Pastrami sandwiches with ice tea to wash the meal down

The food is pretty tasty and have tried several items from their lunch menu. The turkey chili, pastrami sandwich(which can’t be halved in soup/sandwich combo), smoked turkey sandwich, red lentil soup and wild grain & rice salad. Everything is fresh. The layout is small which can offer seating challenges at lunch and its a cash only business. The owner is quirky but entertaining. My co-worker and I go there periodically for some soup.

Last time I went I had the minestrone soup. I wasn’t felling very good because I had a cold. I felt a lot better after having this warm homemade soup. It was really good and I would recommend it!

My boyfriend and I always like to try out new places to eat. We stumbled upon this café after typing in «healthy food» in Unilocal’s search bar. The café has a really cozy feel to it. I thought it was really cute! The menu is rather small. They have soups, salads, sandwiches, and some deserts. I got the Black Forest ham sandwich and my boyfriend got the smoked turkey sandwich. All the ingredients were very fresh! We were both pleased with our lunch. Besides the food, the service was amazing! Everyone was very nice to us. Lily was so sweet even though we kind of came last minute because we didn’t know they closed at 4:30. Overall: Cute place, friendly people, good food.

Small. Tiny. Cash only. and parking can be quite a pickle. Lily’s got some requirements but given the fresh food and excellent customer service she puts forward, I don’t mind jumping through these small hoops. Ordered to go the other day and food was ready in less than 10 mins. Lily herself walked our order over and chatted with us for a few mins. She bid us farewell with a big smile and handshake. Turkey sandwich was delicious and fresh. Sure, I could have made it myself but would gladly fork over $ 8 when I’m feeling lazy/don’t have the ingredients myself. The turkey chili was BOMB!!! Very flavorful! Totally recommend this, yum! Sadly can’t say the same for the pasta salad. While the ingredients were fresh it was lacking that Italian-zesty flavor. I’m accustomed to more pizazz so this item fell short on expectations. Overall though, Lily’s is on my list of places to frequent. Can’t wait to try their beet salad, supposedly Thursdays & Fridays.
