I freaking love gigantic build-it-yourself salads, so Chop Stop is a no-brainer. Affordable, super healthy, and delicious food. As you may have guessed, I built my own salad, and am happy that it was a substantial amount, I could hardly finish it(but I did hehe). They also have wraps, burrito bowls, and«healthy» cookies. It’s a bit cramped inside and the bright lights make it look a bit sterile, so would definitely recommend this place more for take-out than dine-in. I only wish they had a location closer to Pasadena or Glendale.

Solid salad eatery. I visited Chop Stop for the first time last weekend, and I’m definitely happy I did. I wouldn’t even say I’m a huge salad person, but that’s the best part about this joint — they’ve got wraps and burritos too! Major points on the Health scale, and the menu lends itself to a bevy of creative control. You can build your own, and create a salad perfectly catered to your every whim. The seating area is minimal, and Chop Stop is definitely more of a takeout establishment/fast casual restaurant than anything. Parking is plentiful, as it sits in a shopping center with multiple businesses next door. Chop Stop features decent variety, healthful food that tastes great, all for a fair price. I would absolutely recommend it.

How could I possibly live without this place? Everyone here is always very sweet and helpful. My favorite order is the Vegan Chopurrito bowl, but I usually add a TON of other veggies! I would recommend definitely adding jalapeños and ordering all spinach. They now have cilantro lime brown rice, which bumps the flavor up to another level! My meal always leaves me feeling GREAT! Their chopurrito bowls are a wonderful way to satiate a craving for Chipotle: No guilt, but LOTS of flavor!

I am in love with the choice of salads at this place. What’s great is that the prices are not too expensive and most importantly you can build your own salad from scratch. One bad thing about this place is that they don’t have a lot of locations.

This is a great place to stop to pick up a quick lunch for work. Nothing fancy, nothing overly special, but solid salad to-go when you want something lighter.

You’re biggest profit margin will always be selling salads but yet this place portions act like it’s not. I got the biggest salad they make and it was weak!!! WEAK!!! I thought to myself as I watched them make it «tell me that’s not it please tell me that’s not it» and guess what it was small. People who worked there were nice but I was really disappointed on what cost to lettuce ratio was in my salad. Jesus a head of Iceberg lettuce is 99cents! I won’t be going back, the salad was good, just too damn small for a man to eat. I think the owner is just a cheap asshole?

Customer service was great– the cashier explained how the entire process works however I feel like my chicken was toooooo chopped up. I could barely taste the protein. I love a good chopped salad but I would change chopping up the avocado(if ordered) and the protein. That’s my .02 cents.

I honestly don’t even know what to complain about. As a vegetarian, everyone told me to come try this place. Well I wish I didn’t. First at foremost this place is very overpriced!!! The parking sucks. I ordered a wrap because I didn’t feel like a salad. She charged me extra for protein, and my wrap had maybe 10 beans in it. The wrap was very sad looking. Over filled and heavy the whole thing ripped and I had to eat it with a fork. It was very cold and didn’t taste in anyway. The only good thing here was the gatorade. Service was ok.

Food here is good. What’s bad is the staff. I call 15 minutes ahead of time so I can pick-up my order and don’t have to wait in line. I get there and my order is not ready. What I’ve noticed is that it doesn’t matter how in advance you call your order in, because they only start making your food only when you arrive physically at the store… which is really annoying when you’re in a rush and you call and order ahead of time specifically to avoid waiting! On top of it, tonight I went to the pick-up counter and all the staff ignored me, while other people were attended. I’m pretty sure other people who had ordered after me, got their food first. Again decent salads, but don’t waste your time calling in to order over the phone. Also, they’ve messed up my orders twice in two different occasions.

Hungry for a great salad, but short on time? Try this place… Fast, friendly, clean. Great employees trained right; very hard working and efficient. Nice variety of salads. I’m working on trying them all. I think my favs so far are the Santa Fe and BBQ. This is a great concept that really works well in an increasingly health conscious society. Very much enjoy and appreciate the freshness and the quality of the ingredients. The food is tasty and satisfying and you feel good after your meal. I also really like the fact that they give you the choice of how you want things prepared… I personally opt for heavy dressing in salads, especially when they have so much flavor; that’s how I like them, but get yours regular or on the side… They’ll make them how you want them! BTW, you can do wraps and bowls too.

If you are in the area and looking for a healthy option under $ 10, you can’t beat this spot. Salads are totally customize-able if you don’t want one of the pre-formulated ones. The ingredients are fresh, portions are a good size and staff is nice and friendly so you can’t go wrong. They even have a rewards card for frequent trips so you can get a free salad after 10. If you are a frequent salad eater, you may want to load up their Green Card($ 100 minimum to load) — then you get 15% off every salad and a free salad after you buy 7! Woohoo! Small place, I always take my salad to go. They are packed basically to go anyways!

Hands down best service ever, I had two salads made incorrectly but then again it could of been miscommunication because I sent someone else to pick it up but long story short I called and told them the problem and I think her name was Lori(she had green eyes) took care of me so nicely and so fast with no hassle ! Gotta love that girl THANKS!!!

I was heading from an appointment in Burbank and decided that I wanted to eat a salad. I looked up this place and so glad that I did. The parking was horrible but after about 5 min I found parking near Sprouts which was a few feet away. Ambiance : The location is visible and surrounded by Robek, Starbucks and a chicken grill place. There was seating outside that was open for anyone that had ordered from any of the food places. When entering into the restaurant it was a bit crammed and I felt sorry for the people that were eating at their tables and had folks standing around in front or in the back of them waiting for their food orders. Salad: Never the less, I had quite a few choices of salads that had ingredients pre-chosen but you had the benefit of swapping whatever you didn’t want for another topping. There is also a menu in the middle that will give you whatever base you want like(iceberg, kale and spinach), they divided into veggies, meats, cheeses and dressings. I ended up with the Sante Fe swapping the meat for tortillas. I got the creamy chipotle versus the lime vinegarette. The salad came in a bowl and also requested that it was tossed. The salad was really good though I didn’t expect the chipotle dressing to be that mild, maybe just a hint of mildness but still yummy. If you want extra dressing that will cost you .50 cents each. I ended up eating the entire salad. I had it at about 1:30 and was still quite fool when dinner approached opting out for some fruit for dinner. I will go back based on the freshness, quality and quantity of the salad for the price that you pay. I can’t see myself dining here unless they open up more space but since that will not happen I will just stop, grab and go. It’s fits there name perfectly Chop stop!

I would consider this to be a lower quality Chop’t. I came here with a friend after shopping at the nearby IKEA and I wasn’t entirely satisfied with my salad. I ordered the kale salad with tofu instead of chicken and I had high hopes, since prices were low and the staff was extremely fast– they had my friends order ready before she had even finished paying. However, the salad itself was lacking in toppings and could have used more chopping. The lack of toppings stood out since all I tasted was kale, really. It may be better to order your salad in wrap form, which I know they can do for you. However, I wasn’t satiated with my salad, nor were my taste buds satisfied to the max. Very average.

Good food at a good price, I only wish there was one of these near me. I had the Santa Fe Salad and for less than $ 10 I had a very large salad full of goodies, though they did kind of skimp on the chicken, but at that price I was fully expecting it. I’d recommend ordering light dressing since I ordered it and still ended up with quite a bit of dressing. Don’t bring a big group here since there isn’t much space to sit down, also you’ll usually have a wait in line from what I can tell so prepare for that. PS: Come in to the Parking lot from the main road or risk getting stuck behind the Starbucks drive thru line.

Incredibly convenient and simple. There’s nothing that really stands out at this location/type-of-store. The service was fast and fun, and the ingredients were fresh. No bitterness in their kale, and the perfect amount of oil and vinegar in my bowl. I created my own salad, so I can’t attest to their signatures. I suppose that the only thing I really can say is $ 11 for the type of salad I got is a little extravagant, but again, this type of store is convenient, quick, and fresh. Not a bad go-to lunch or dinner choice.

Salad. As a vegetarian and produce-lover; that one word makes my heart pitter-patter. There is really no better food(in my opinion) than a bowl of crisp, colorful vegetables topped with a bit of acidity(that’s the dressing or vinegar, folks). However, we all know the major flaw of salads: the unequal ratio of ingredients leaving you with bites that are just vegetable or simply the leafy greens. Chop Stop eliminates that problem with their chopped salad concept. Chop Stop is a quick-serve eatery serving salads, soups, wraps, and«chopurrito bowls» of every combination your mind can fathom. The establishment is somewhat small in square footage with an order counter and a few tables so not really best-suited for eating-in. Regardless, it is clean, modern, and has Ikea-esque esthetics. Immediately upon stepping foot into the Chop Stop, we were greeted by a young male employee while the female order taker asked if we are first-timers(yes) to which she proceeded to explain the process and menu. I am HUGE on customer service and it is a bigger resonating point with me than the actual food. You win with customer service and you may have my vote even if your food isn’t that great. Chop Stop was impressive with their manner and instantaneous welcome. The menu at Chop Stop offers pre-imagined salads at approximately $ 9(and everything can be made into a wrap) or a create-your-own salad where one can pick a lettuce(or combo of two), 6 toppings(veggies, cheeses, beans and grains, crunchies, and proteins), and a dressing. This gives you the liberty to up the calories and carbs(and fat) or go the super lean route. I chose to create a salad with a combo of kale and spinach, broccoli, carrots, egg whites, cucumbers, tomatoes, apples, and a fat-free raspberry vinaigrette to go. Now, Chop Stop isn’t like Subway or Chipotle where you can see the ingredients behind the counter so it is a little tricky having to keep count of your 6 toppings. Despite this, don’t worry that the employees missed any because the order taker read it back like a pro. The preparation of the salad didn’t take too long and was presented with a smile. My instant reaction? Whoa baby, these are large! This is no side salad! This is a never-ending bowl of salad! I actually consumed my salad the next day and being that I asked for dressing on the side, it was not wilted or discolored. I would say that the little cup of dressing is not enough for the gigantic salad(this baby will be enough for you just as dinner). The great thing is that the chopped itty-bitty pieces solves the problem of eating one ingredient more than the other so each bite is satisfying and you genuinely can eat this salad with a spoon. It is very fresh, filling, and hearty even though it is just vegetables. A downside to Chop Stop is aside from fountain drinks(the machine is behind the counter); they sell some soft drink and water bottles but these are not that chilled and they don’t offer a cup of ice. An upside, though? Chop Stop is open until 10pm which is great for HEALTHY late-night munchies. There really is no reason to not try Chop Stop(I hear they can get pretty busy though). It’s healthy, has great customer service, and is a huge, filling quantity well-worth the price. Thanks to Chop Stop, the dilemma of being left with one ingredient in a salad bowl is solved. That makes this salad-lover sigh with relief…

If you’re looking for a healthy lunch, this is your spot. They’re known for their tossed salads and build your own burritos. All of their ingredients are extremely fresh. They have a set menu as far as salads go, such as Kale Chop, BBQ Chop, Viva Mexican Chop, etc. I usually order the BBQ Chop or the Viva Mexican Chop, and I get the dressing tossed in. But you can order the dressing on the side. They also have a variety of healthy beverages that go perfectly with their healthy menu. Chop Stop shares a huge parking lot with Starbucks, Sprouts, a nail salon and other small businesses. So finding a parking shouldn’t be a problem.
