A girlfriend and I came here for a girl night out, and we were pretty disappointed. They offer a handful of white and red wines, ranging from about $ 10 – 15, and about a dozen options for food, but do not go there to eat if you are at all hungry. This place attempts to be fancy, with their overpriced dishes and tiny portions, but it comes off as pretentious. My friend ordered the salmon bruschetta and I ordered the wagyu beef, and we were both left unsatisfied; the bruschetta was on a small slice of bread with thin slivers of salmon, and the beef was easily eaten in 5 or so bites. While the flavor was decent, the cost for such small, unimpressive portions is absurd. The redeeming factor is that the décor is fun; I’m a sucker for Edison lightbulbs and they have them hanging along the back wall. However, I wouldn’t come back here unless we were in desperate need for a glass of wine and wanted to burn our money quick.

Luna Vine is a great place to meet a friend or the girls for a glass of wine and some amazing cheese! This place may be small but the décor & staff make it feel very cozy & welcoming. It’s nice that you receive great personalized wine choices from the knowledgeable staff. I haven’t had much of the food but the cheese plate is out of this world! Get the lavender goat cheese! My only complaint, if I had to voice one, would be that it is slightly pricy for what you get. Obviously that doesn’t stop me from wanting to go and enjoy myself here!

Still can’t believe this place exists in #Burbank. I say this because in my experience there are not many restaurants here that serve this caliber of food. The ingredients are very fresh and the combinations of flavors left me craving for more. Very much looking forward to my next visit. #burbank #winebar

Good layback local spot to bring your friends or colleagues to chat and enjoy a great selection of wine or beer and comfort food. I recommend zucchini fritters.

I’m excited to see what develops here at Luna Vine with new Som/Owner Teruya. He has plans on expanding the location’s offerings via it’s menu and bar and I can’t wait. I finally made the trek to this fine Burbank establishment and I’m glad I did; gives us locals and Burbank visitors a place to relax and truly enjoy a classy and unpretentious environment grounded on a solid line of spirits and food. Can’t wait to return.

Only giving it one star as Luna Wine has closed. It has reopened however they don’t have a new name yet.

We love this place! Good food, good wine and amazing staff! A dancer, an artist and a scientist walk in to a bar and… wait. They didn’t just walk in, they work here! Ariel, Lauren and Taylor are a trifecta of awesomeness. Super smart, super friendly and super helpful. Fun fact: Lauren is the artist behind all the artwork in the bar! Highly recommend the wagyu beef, lamb meatballs and tuna tataki.

How do these people not have wine flights?! Seems like a very basic necessity for a wine bar. The food was okay, service was okay but slow. Not really sure why the owners and management don’t understand the importance of flights for some folks. Just eh.

Excellent service, excellent selection of wines, excellent food, and a great atmosphere. This is the unpretentious delightful gem of Burbank. My wife and I will definitely be back. Great place that meet friends or a date or just a casual night out with people you like. Definitely try the Tuna, the Waygu, and the Mac N’ Cheese.

Popped in on Friday afternoon for the first time. What a great space! It’s warm and inviting! The bartender was wonderful, the zucchini fritters were so good that I foresee them becoming an addiction. I am so happy that I have discovered this little gem so close to home!

Such a cozy and adorable place! Would be great for a date night — super romantic and intimate. I was not drinking but was offered some awesome sounding non-alcoholic alternatives(and will definitely need to come back for the wine) but I loved the food. We got four cheeses and four meats — manchego, tartufo, purple haze and goat cheese; jamon, truffle salami, duck proscuitto, and chorizo. The accoutrements(honey, waluts, olives, pickels) were an excellent and delish complement! We also split a mac and cheese with bacon that they were kind enough to put two candles in for the birthdays we were celebrating. Though we arrived at 9:30 and the restaurant closes at 10, they gladly stayed open until almost 11 for us and were super sweet and accommodating! Must go back!

So, since my last post, I’ve been taking a few more trips back and gotta say that they’ve been turning it around here. Slowly, but surely. It’s been really mellow the last few leisurely times here and the bartenders have been fantastically friendly(the abrupt/antagonistic one may not work there anymore). I haven’t had any issues with service, the drinks have been great and it’s been overall relaxing. Keep it up.

This is such a cute little hidden place in Burbank. The workers are all very nice, and the ambience is very fitting to drinking wine and catching up with great people. I haven’t tried all of their wine, but they have a good old vine zinfandel that I like(my friend and I split the bottle). They don’t have the price of their wines per bottle, but you can order any of their wines by the bottle, and the price is the glass multiplied by 3.5. Happy hour is every day or every weekday from 5 – 7. If you come, order their cheese board. It is absolutely delicious. I will come here, and it will be often.

I loved this wine bar… We went there to start a bachelorette party/girls night out, with a couple glasses of wine and a cheese/charcuterie plate. It was the perfect atmosphere!!! The prosecco and pinot noir I tried were really delicious and the prices were fair, compared to other wine bars. It’s a really small place, so you may miss it if you’re not paying close attention… but, it’s worth looking for it and giving it a try. Great for couples, friends hang-out, etc. Didn’t try their tapas, so maybe I’ll just have to go again, soon ;)

This place is great! I came here with my hubby on a date night and we really enjoyed it. The ambiance is very warm, cozy, romantic yet posh. The pino was great! The Cab was amazing and the cheese and meat plate was delicious. We ended up ordering two of them. The ladies behind the bar were very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I must confess, when I first found out there’s a wine bar combined with tapas located in the lovely city of Burbank I was ecstatic. I just couldn’t conceal the joy and excitement of knowing there’s a cute little place where my boyfriend and I can go, enjoy good wines, great food, and cheese/charcuterie plate. Needless to say, when the opportunity presented itself, I immediately asked my boyfriend to take me here for our date night. And perhaps, the fault was mine, simply due to my own hype and expectation, but Luna Vine Wine Bar was just mediocre and unexceptional. Since it’s located on Magnolia, there’s ample street parking to be found on a week night. The place itself is small but cute nevertheless. It’s got a bar where you can actually sit down while talking to the bartender and the wine aficionados left and right. BF and I decided to sit at a high table where we can enjoy each other’s company. Due to our previous enjoyment at another wine bar, we decided to go for pinot noir and a glass of cab. I don’t consider either one of us an oenophile, however, the pinot noir was tasty even being a bit on the dark side while the cabernet sauvignon was to light and a little bland. And as for our cheese/charcuterie board: despite its fabulous presentation, I honestly thought it was just okay… The charcuterie was overly greasy while the cheeses were rather bland. Lamb Meatballs: Though it’s flavorful, nonetheless, my first thought after the taste was, «I think this is something I can easily make at home.» Burrata Caprese: Wonderful presentation(see my pic,) came with basil pesto, grape balsamic reduction with poached pair on top. I must say, the burrata is just as bland as the cheese plate, though the pair does bring out the flavors a little bit more. Honestly, perhaps it’s because we didn’t order enough food or pick the right cheese/charcuterie. But Luna Vine Wine Bar just did not wow me the way I had anticipated. With that being said, my BF did have a good time and he said he would go back again, and simply because of that, I gave it an extra star.

This place was a great choice. Fellow Unilocaler and best friend, Lina V. and I came here for delicious wine($ 3 off during happy hour) and tapas. It’s a narrow space decorated with dark woods and paintings by local artists. I have never been to Spain but I felt like I was in Spain because of the interior. I desired a crisp and tart white wine so I was recommended the ’13 Verdicchio which was fantastic. Absolutely tart and crisp and refreshing. For food, we ordered: — the sweet zucchini fritters(honey, pistachio, crème fraiche), which were absolutely delicious and the crème fraîche that came with it was perfectly complimentary — the imperial wagyu beef(cooked perfectly, the right amount of tenderness and absolutely delicious with the chimichurri sauce and the spicy orange sauce that came with it) — a plate of thinly sliced manchego and a fatty, smoky tasting jamon serrano(came with two different types of bread — a white bread and a nutty grainy bread with raisins, honey, walnuts, delicious pickled peppers, cornichons and a grainy mustard). This was a huge hit and we both loved it. We both preferred the nutty grainy bread, piled with the cheese, mustard, ham, a drizzle of honey and a walnut — just an ordeal of flavors that worked so well together! — the arugula salad(lemon, sea salt, topped with freshly shaved pecorino) — this was a perfectly light and tasty salad, the pecorino cheese was a really nice touch We ended our meal with their epic cappuccino bread pudding — a warm, heavy and sinfully rich bread with dark chocolate on the plate. Just absolutely fantastic and divine. I am now in love with this place and I want to take everyone here. Top notch food, top notch wine, great service and a beautiful ambience.

I was dropping a friend off at the Burbank airport and wanted a place we could have a drink and a quite bite to eat that was close. Found this place on Unilocal with it’s fantastic ratings and navigated to it. We found parking right away(at around 6pm on a weeknight). The strip of street it’s on is very quaint. There a bunch of shops that would be fun to wander in so I can see Luna Vine being part of a evening out. We walked in and were immediately impressed. The ambiance is intimate, beautiful and very New York/European. There were only women in here and I thought, sure, this is the kind of place that appeals to women(Men, take note!) We were attended by a beautiful and elegant woman who seemed very knowledgeable. We ordered wine by the glass. They pour your wine ATTHETABLE. Show you the bottle, give you a glass that suits your wine perfectly and pour you a taste. Once you approve, you get the full glass. So classy! It’s not a gigantic glass of wine but this place is about savoring and tasting, it’s about an experience, not volume. Of course, we ended up getting another glass because the first was not enough! Thankfully we came at happy hour. We ordered four small dishes to share. They actually DON’T SERVEDINNER here. It’s just tapas. And we were quite hungry so we got an arugula salad, a flat bread with halloumi cheese, meatballs and a roasted pepper with cheese dish. The presentation of everything is nice but the flavors were so intense. They served each dish separately as well which was a bit strange. The arugula salad didn’t have anything on it except lemon, olive oil and salt and pepper. It would have been nice to eat it with the meatballs for example. The flat bread came like a pizza but the cheese was more like a tangy cream cheese with tons of pickled red onion. Very vinegary. The meatballs were salty and the pepper dish was in this very sweet sauce. It was like raw/dehydrated food. Very concentrated flavors but not a lot of actual food. We had a nice time but if I come back it will be for wine and a cheese plate.

This wine bar just opens beginning of this year. Love the ambiance & the decoration. Small but very cozy. Besides bar seating area, there are 8 tables and comfortable couch. The Service: FANTASTIC! Our server, Michelle, is super attentive. She is very friendly and warm. We felt very welcomed. She gives great recommendation on the food & wine choices. The service is definitely more than 5 Stars! The Food: The food was served pretty quickly. Good presentation as well. The grilled cheese sandwich… OMG! 4 different kind of cheese(both inside & outside of sour dough bread) Stuffed Piquillo Pepper — Herbed queso de cabra, pepper purée(3 pieces of pepper stuffed with creamy cheese). Just melted in my mouth. $ 8 Great wine & bear list too. Perfect place to have a glass of wine and try some tapa style dishes. The Parking: Store front street parking(free, 2 hours) & side streets residential parking(free, no limit)
