I’ve been to Marquis a few times now and every time has been amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. They take the time to listen to what you’re looking for and always deliver. I highly recommend coming here for all your grooming needs!

After my last barber moved away I was slumming it at sports clips for a few months I finally found Marquis. The detail and time he takes to figure what best works with your hair is what sets him apart. I have now been going to him for the last few months and it is well worth it.

My husband had a wonderful experience at Marquis De’Von’s barber shop! His hair came out perfectly (the way I wanted it) and they took extra time to fix up his mustache and beard. We’re definitely going back no doubt about it.

This place is legit. Got my first haircut today with Mark the owner and man does he have skills. I got a fresh new cut and all lined up. This is my new go to spot for haircuts. It’s hard to find an excellent barber /​hair shop that as professional as this place. Keep up the fantastic work. Oh yeah I just told Mark make me look fresh and that’s what he did!

Marquis is a master of his craft. This place is my new go to for Barber services. They offer a slew is services along with even massages. Netflix, coffee, soda and beer in the front area? Yes please.

I had a great massage, with body scrub! The men’s spa was so relaxing, comfortable table, soothing ambience, and Marquis’s hands are strong and firm. He really knocked some kinks out of my back and legs. I would definitely schedule more work with him!

They really do an awesome job. Walked out feeling great! The haircut was well done and the beer while you wait is killer. Well worth the $.

Rachelle was awesome! After years of hair salons and barbers, I finally found someone who was willing to take a creative leap with me and not fear the cutting of my lady hair! My goal has been to achieve a 20s Bob mixed with a disconnected undercut that fades in length from my left side, around the back to my right side. She did it! I will be back in a few months for sure!

Today was my 2^nd visit to Marquis. His work is incredible. I tend to have trouble with razorbumps, and have avoided straight shaves my entire life. Not with Marquis. His technique is amazing and he works well within the appointment slots. I NEVER visit barber shops — however I’ll continue to utilize Marquis because of the quality of the shave plus his shop is very clean, friendly and I get in and out. Not to mention his prices are VERY reasonable. And he even threw in a recommended gift product just because he knew it would help me — rare.

Marquis is very good! I have gone to many places and this is the best. They even have free beer while you wait to get your hair cut. I recommend signing up for the membership to receive discounts etc. Again great place, do yourself a favor and book an appointment. You can call or do it online in less than 2 minutes!

Went looking for a new person to cut my hair and, of course, I checked Unilocal to see what you all thought about the locals. After reading the reviews, I decided to to try Marquis’ shop out. Have to say that everything was as reviewed. Very clean, well decorated and comfortable salon with complimentary refreshments and entertainment for the waiting room. I made an appointment and didn’t have to wait long at all. Marq asked all the right questions and listened when I tried to explain my wants. Overall the cut was excellent and I learned a few things about what to ask for in the future. The whole experience was comfortable and relaxing. I’m recommending that you give this young business a try. i think you’ll like it.

My first visit was today. Marquis was extremely professional and helpful. My wife and I had a great time. I received the royal treatment and left 100% completely satisfied. I’ll be returning for sure. By far the best cut I’ve had in my 7 years in LA. See you next time!

I went in to see Marquis a few days after getting an absolutely horrible beard trim at another barber. I was on the verge of shaving my entire beard off since the trim I had gotten was so bad. I decided to give it one more chance and Marquis did an incredible job! Literally saving my beard!
the overall feel of the studio is incredible with complimentary drinks and snacks. Within the first couple of minutes I knew Marquis was taking care and making sure he understood what I was looking for. the beard trim was thorough and the quality was unmatched. In fact, the prices at the studio are cheaper than the place i had gone to previously on top of being an incredible trim.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing a beard trim and likely even a haircut (I can’t speak to it personally but i imagine the haircuts are top notch as well). Also, make sure to get the membership which, with discounts, pays for itself if you plan to return even remotely often.
I plan to tell all of my friends about this place and be back at least once a month for a beard trim. The studio has all the benefits and feel of both a barber and salon. Can not say enough good things about the studio or Marquis. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Absolutely amazing spot — my second time now and it was better than the first! Do yourself a favor and buy the (very affordable) one time membership and save on all his services for life! Great quality cuts (free beer!) great prices (complimentary beer!!) and an amazing concept (did I mention a selection of complimentary beers, sodas and coffees?)

I have literally travelled all over the world, US, Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, Middle-​East, and all throughout Asia-​Pacific and have never had such an amazing haircut as performed by Marquis. Marquis is totally amazing! Today I stopped into his studio and he was able to fix my ‘butchered’ hair. I am so thankful that I have found my permanent hair stylist/​barber, Marquis, in Burbank.
