Found Nazareth here on Unilocal.He is a kind gentleman. I went in for a new bridge and he set it up quickly! He also adjusted the sound post which was too far off. Now my violin plays louder than ever. He even fixed my tuning pegs on the house. He knows exactly what he doing. The atmosphere is incredibly homey. The shop is on his property.
See this guy! Don’t go anywhere else!
Sure you could take your instrument to some local retail shop. But, don’t you want attention to detail on you and your instrument? If so, go to Nazareth. Remember you get what you pay for. Pay for the best and come see Nazareth.
He has strings, rosin, bows, and many other accessories for the string player. Beautiful, quiet shop. GO SEE NAZARETH!

I have known Nazareth Gevorkian for approximately twenty five years, first as a professional violinist and then as a luthier. He is my first choice for violin repair and for bow rehairing. Many of my students have purchased or are renting beautiful, well set up instruments from him. We all enjoy the personal service (by appointment) and old world craftsmanship he embodies. He works quickly, his prices are fair, and he has even opened his shop on Christmas Eve to do an emergency repair for me!

Some of the best service I’ve ever had. I’ve been playing for over 5 years now and he’s by far the best Ive ever taken my violin to. He truly knows what he’s doing. He is very meticulous in his work and makes sure everything is taken care of… Everything!
