This Vons has the best flowers at a great price. The lady who works in that department was above and beyond helpful with my floral arrangement!
They have long term employees and often will great you with a big smile and staff like Brenda and Roy know their customers by name.
This Vons is clean has the best customer service and now and then you will see a movie star shopping.

2 stars for missing items and produce specifically spinach having slimy translucent stems & will require use right away.
2 for customer service disconnect and time required to be on the call. Must be a more efficient way.
This mornings delivery was short a few items. I believe there was also a issue with my prior order thus the long time span before trying their delivery again. Like most people I like to pick my own fruit and vegetables.
I am a little concerned over the funky freezer smell of the frozen food items delivered today. Maybe the paper bags absorbs the smell. It also could be from the truck. It’s the smell of freezer cases that haven’t been cleaned. Oder was very strong. Once I open one I can tell if it’s old stock that has freezer burn or not.
Very nice guy delivered the groceries. As well as the driver from my prior delivery.
The missing items are No big deal, mistakes happen. However one of the items was flowers for tomorrow. It was on my delivery list, no note they were out, or due to Mother’s Day they were not available. I was charged for them. I had forgotten I ordered them as I ordered late last night.
At delivery my fur babies were barking and staying under foot and I didn’t think about the flowers I called ASAP when noticing the issue unpacking the frozen food, two frozen items were missing. Looking at the delivery list I realized the flowers were also missing.
I had hoped the driver would be in the area and could still bring them by or offer on his way back in after his deliveries were completed, since I am 5 blocks away from the store. Each truck loads at your local store.
Advise by the call center only items worth $ 25 or more get re-​routed to deliver if the items are on the truck.
Two calls and 45 minutes later after playing transfer, drop her call, disconnect. I will get a credit on my card in two days. I just bet there is a bag with those two things and the flowers in the truck.
(Thinking, Maybe the drivers girl friend or mom will get all the missing flowers that were forgotten). Shaking head to self. Stop that! Sorry!
Delivery is great way to reduce pain levels for those of us with issues. Today’s packing and unpacking my freezer to find what specific two were missing removed that benefit. I had to turn on the computer, print my order to be able to locate which two were missing as their packing list or pick list is too generic to tell anything besides the brand. What is odd is these items were all one brand some indicate specifically other did not, very inconsistent. I find that confusing and to me is not practicable. Maybe something to update. I am sure it would help in other areas of their business as the call center couldn’t tell either.
Most likely I will order again but I think I will not order produce this way. Although I was unhappy with the quality of two items from the produce spinach and lettuce.

Not sure what the deli personnel think, maybe side work, talking to each other, etc., is more important than customers but obviously UNION RULES forbid good customer service! Went to get a sandwich today at lunch time, no one in line, I thought great I can get in and out and have time to enjoy my lunch… not today! There was this short lady behind the counter, making fries, picking bad looking stuff out of the hot foods, but never once acknowledged me nor assisted me, I finally went and purchased a pre made sandwich. This is not the first time, the deli is usually understaffed and with people that move at the speed of «day off». I know better than to complain to management, they either are afraid of the union or just don’t give a damn. The GM Tom, is arrogant and smug and if you say that you will post on social media, he goes off saying he won’t be blackmailed. Blackmailed? I wasn’t asking for anything. Maybe he should take a serious look at his store and how it is run, rather than putting in the time before retirement it seems to me.

This store has the worst customer service. I bought two pints of Ben n Jerry’s ice cream and brought it home and put in freezer right away. About an hour later I opened one to eat it and it was all crystallized and icy, which happens when it was previously melted and then refrozen. I opened the second pint and it was the same thing. I called the store and spoke with Bob at customer service he advised me to bring them back and he would be there till 7pm. I rushed over there and got there around 540 – 6 and they said he had left early, but I could speak to the manager. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he was rude and insinuated I melted and refroze them even after I showed him the receipt showing I just bought them. I told him this was the third time I have gotten ice cream at this store and had the same problem, but first time I reported it and suggested they check their freezer. He did admit during the summer they did have a problem. His answer was «maybe I should buy my ice cream somewhere else». This came from the manager. Who says that? Rude and unprofessional. I will no longer buy anything from Pavilions if that’s how they treat customers. Did he ever hear of customer service?

I try to avoid this place because they have indifferent and/​or incompetent staff, but today was the last straw. I work down the street, so I stopped in to pick up some fruit and dinner at the hot deli. I picked rotisserie chicken with potatoes and kale salad. The drumstick was so tough and burnt to be barely edible, but the thigh was infinitely worse. See the pic.

Beware of the grumpy betchface floral department manager. The safeway customer service policy hasn’t sank into her yet and she’s an old hag already there!

The 1 star is just for the shrimp I just got. Smells and tastes like antibiotics. Spent all that time cleaning and cooking only to trash the whole thing

I love this store I can find almost everything organic. It is not the cheapest but good quality food

Been shopping here for a decade and I think I have finally had enough. Produce is constantly rung up as more expensive similar items (most expensive potatoes, etc., organic prices when I’ve purchased non-​organic) and the selection is usually vastly over or under-​ripe, and frequently moldy (hello, grapes). The rewards program has become increasingly terrible over the years, and now I get less than 10% back on the average trip even though I try to shop the deals and use the app. With a very big Ralphs, Sprouts, and Trader Joe’s close by, I give Pavilions the edge for only the pleasant demeanor of their employees, which I appreciate even if they are draining my bank account at the same time.

Antoinette at the deli is the best! Not the fastest but she is kind and helpful! She made me a great breakfast burrito! Everytime im in town i stop by for lunch!

Tonight I went into Pavilions to pick up a few things, I have always loved this market but tonight was special, I met Raquel! Wow what an awesome lady! She works in the deli and she was amazing! I don’t even eat Deli but she recommended the best salads and we had such a nice conversation. I will definitely be back! She made my evening

I like Pavilions. The atmosphere is pleasant, the employees are always friendly and they call you by your name from your club card, which is a plus. Some say Pavillions is too expensive a supermarket to shop at. But I find that if you follow their sales flyer every week, use their digital coupons and Just For U deals, shop on $ 5 Fridays, you can save a lot. If i thought they were too expensive I wouldn’t even shop there.
I really enjoy shopping there.

I tried calling the store today and got hung up on 5 times so I am not thrilled about that but nontheless… I went to this store last Tuesday and could not find a wine I was looking for. I told a few different associates but they did not help me but they called someone who did. Joseph F. came and walked with me to the wines and helped me find it. After he even walked back with me again to get another one and told me the 2^nd bottle was on sale for 10 cents! He was very positive, upbeat, and very helpful. He was an exceptional worker. All of pavillions workers should be so great!

Sure, I miss the old, old days when this was the site of a drive-​in movie theater… and I have happy childhood memories of that… but modern life moves on…
A great grocery store that always has whatever I need when I’m in the area.

Market: 1-​star (open more check stands, it’s the weekend… this is when lots of folks shop)

Pretty well kept together and quick transaction at the register. Plenty of parking. Got all the typical food I can find at an american store that I needed like cucumbers and flour tortillas lol.
I enjoy to see what I need to buy happens to be on sale as well. Double awesome when that happens.
They have food that are ready to eat and warm as well. Panda Express and Jamba Juice is in here too.
They also got a deli going on. It’s close and convenient from my house and on the way home from work so yay me. Happy grocery shopping

Great selection of fresh produce and usually well stocked. One of my favorite pavilions to go to. I usually only go in late at night when there isn’t a lot of people and I can avoid the long cashier lines. The best part of this store is the self service check out area.
Inside the store you’ll find a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and Panda Express. The parking lot is reasonable and I’ve never spent no more than a min finding a spot.
