Went there Saturday night… says they close at 10pm. We got there at 845pm and they were already stacking up all the chairs and tables as if they were closing and all outside tables and chairs were already put away. After we ordered they even started to put away the food but more and more people started to come in so they had to take everything out again. You could tell the staff had a little attitude. Its like hello you guys are open till 10pm wth!!!

The staff is friendly. The service is quick and the place is clean. I like the table and chair set up. The food is amazing and I like that I can put as much unlimited ingredients I want on my pizza. My pizza is so pretty.

toppings unlimited, so many possibilities, I made mine with artichokes, pineapple, bell peppers, mushrooms, chicken sausage, etc, etc… on thin crust(i think it was the whome grain flax seed)… oh soo yummy! I didn’t have to wait too long. Price was 7.99 for personal size pizza which came with salad of your own choice, I had ceasar’s salad. Customer service was great, surroundings were clean. I’m planning my next visit already.

My 4 year old is of the rare because she doesn’t favor pizza of any kind. We were looking for a place to eat on a Saturday for lunch, we came across this place in Magnolia Park. Parking is street parking and in the rear, I think that back lot you can park in, but I didn’t because I was afraid of getting towed, so we parked on the street near the front of the business. Build your own pizza, they don’t have a ton of toppings. My daughter devoured this pizza, she loved it, and has asked if we can go back, so that’s really good coming from her. $ 7.00 for one pizza, I really felt that the pizzas were pretty small. I do understand that they are somewhat new there, but the guy that helped me really didn’t know what the heck he was doing. My side salad was literally just salad greens with nothing on it. I had spoken to a gentleman that seemed like the manager because he was incredibly knowledgeable, he made the salad the way it was supposed to be. We ended up ordering two pizzas because the pizzas were pretty small for two large adults and a 4 year old. I do like that they have frequency cards, which is actually why I’d go back.

The GF option was a gross gritty frozen pizza. The topping selection was okay but not worth it for the price. The other build your own places have way better GF options.

Convenient for lunch. Not quite a Midici or a Pizza Rev, but not bad. Surely not as many toppings. Very nice staff who cares if you are satisfied until your finished dining. Hard once you’ve had pizza from some of the better places in the category of make your own to come to Pizza Studio and render rave reviews… but they try. A very clean dining area. Parking could be tight, there’s some but it’s located in a busy area and on a corner. I enjoyed a change up on the beverage options. Passed on the dessert option, but there’s at least one. Crust is a little thicker than PizzaRev which won a point since I’m an East Coaster who lives for a hearty and well made crust. Prices aren’t much different either. Bathrooms were nice and clean, always a plus. A real live vibrant ambiance… pretty bright. There IS a gluten free crust alternative… enough options not to give it a thumbs down but the local competition these days is fierce.

James R is full of $!&&. The manager in question was very clear to everyone in line an hour ago that they will be closing the doors at 9:00 promptly. You may not make it in tonight. I was the second to the last person in line at that point. This dork comes up after the fact and is all pissy now that he didn’t make the cut off. JAMES R was the one who was rude and threatened bad reviews on Unilocal unless he got his way. Grow up! Even my 8 year old knew James R was in the wrong.

Make your own pizza! Dough options!!! I love the flaxseed! Good selection of toppings, however they are very stingy!!! If you want more you’ll have to ask for it! Their cookies are bomb!

Josiah is an awesome manager!!! My wife met him 2 weeks ago and made her smile with his awesome smile and personality. Then I met the gentlemen today first with greeting you at the door. Then as I walked to the line he asked if it was ok if he finished with him first customers first. I said of course it’s ok. Then he took my order which he had to get another gluten free crust in the back since they’re fresh. He loaded up the crust with as much as we wanted and didn’t judge me on my order. So that was very sweet. Then I showed him my wife’s coupon for half off. As we clicked on it, it said it was expired which wasn’t true. Instead of arguing and taking the companies side on this he took the customers side and honored it. Which in return made me buy a second pizza just to support the local business. He then on top of all that, found out it was my birthday a couple of days ago. I had the Flu so didn’t want to get anyone sick that day and Josiah gave me a free pizza next time I come in. What a manager. If your company is listening, you have a great manager here along with maybe looking into giving him a area of his own since he is what I would call the example every manager should follow. I really suggest you do everything you can to keep Josiah working for your company.

This pizza is so good and healthier than your regular pizza spots. I recommend it, very clean and friendly staff. You can make your own pizza from picking the dough to your last ingredient! I will be returning for sure!

I was skeptical of this pizza place because of how much I love blaze pizza and felt that nothing could top it. As soon as I walked in and saw that they had different flavored crusts I already knew this pizza would be delicious. So I chose the Rosemary crust and made my own pizza. The amount of toppings they had were significantly less than the amount blaze has which was a downside. Also, I put about 5 different toppings on but my pizza still looked so empty. So they aren’t as generous with toppings here but that’s fine. I was still really excited to try it. Another thing was that someone else mentioned that they ask you what seasonings you’d like after they make your pizza but no one asked me if I’d like any on mine. Had I known that was an option I would’ve asked for some on the pizza. So the pizza comes out and looks so amazing. I couldn’t wait to dive in. I’m happy to say that it was just as delicious as it looked. The crust made it so incredibly flavorful! I’m surprised more pizza places aren’t using flavored crusts. It’s a wonderful idea! But yeah… if I’m in the area I’d definitely go again!

When my boyfriend suggested we go to a make your own pizza place I was like NO. NOOOONONONO. My experience at a make your own pizza place in the past has been sad and sicktastic. Every time we went to Pizza Rev, I’d end up feeling really sick the next day. The first time I thought was a fluke, but the second didn’t go very well either. I suspect maybe something in their dough? But I gave this place the benefit of the doubt. And it was AMAZING. Toppings taste fresh, pizza dough is crispy but not too crispy, the pepperoni gets that awesome crispness, the people here are SUPER nice, and even if you come in 5 minutes before they close, you never get a sigh and a sassy look, which I was totally surprised we didn’t get when we came here last time we did just that. This place is bomb. And now I want pizza.

Great pizza chain, I am so glad to see them doing well and expand all over! I love the service here, everyone working is super nice and made my pizza perfectly and it was ready by the time I paid and sat down! More crust and topping options than any other chain, makes them stand out most. I am partial to the whole grain flax seed which adds a nice crunch and bite to the thin crust pizza. Rosemary herb would be my second fav, followed by the firecracker crust. $ 8 for a nice size pizza along with one of their tasty side salads makes a fantastic meal and I usually have a bit left over for later. Can’t beat the value and having it just as you like it makes it a perfect place to go to with picky eaters or kids.

These types of pizza spots have been poppin’ up everywhere around my hood. Pizza Studio is a franchise I haven’t heard of yet but I was craving pizza and wasn’t in the mood for good ol’ fashioned Domino’s so there I went. For $ 5.99 you can get a «Starving Artist Original» which is a preset pizza. But that’s never fun now is it? So for $ 8.99 you can create your own pizza. It’s almost like playing with play-doh again! Almost. Ok, not at all. There are two stations to keep the line moving. FYI. I got the Flax & Wheat crusted dough — Just so I can pretend to add some health and fiber to my pizza. Nearly cracked for the Firecracker dough, but I think I did me good. Then added some marinara sauce and some mozzarella. Then the debate came whether to OVERload my pizza or keep it light. But as human nature goes, UNLIMITED means you’ll take it to your limit… Sooo I add garlic, jalapenos, mushrooms, red onions, zucchini, broccoli, pork spicy sausage, ham, bacon bits, and some truffle salt. That pie looked bomb going in, and even better coming out. But thank goodness I tried that truffle salt. It saved the pizza. The pizza dough was too soft(except for the crust) and it just tasted really … cheap. This is the second time I came to a pizza spot like this(the other being pizza rev) and though the concept is great, the ingredients are really what you pay for. Next time, I’ll give it up to domino’s. You know what you’re gonna get there atleast.

Pizza Studio falls squarely in between 800 degrees and Pizza Rev in terms of quality. Pricing is similar to Pizza Rev w/all you can eat toppings. Standouts: Multiple choices of crust outside of gluten free. I tried the rosemary and herb which was very tasty and my guest requested the firecracker which is gave the crust a little bit of a kick. The have sauces and additional seasonings to top your pizza, one notable being truffle salt which made my pizza THAT much better. Services was a little slow, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. They also bring the pizza to you rather than have you pick it up, unlike Pizza Rev and 800 Degrees. They also sell cookies here for 99cents, that are worth it. They currently have 4 flavors offered: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, White Choco Macademia Nut, and Triple Chocolate. Parking is only available on the street, but since it is near a residential area, this is not a big deal.

Living in Los Angeles means we inevitably fall victim to the countless number of food trends: cupcakes, macarons, gourmet burgers and hot dogs, kale, novelty food trucks, artisan ice cream, etc. One of the trends which has climbed up the ladder in the past couple years are the create-your-own pizza joints which combine the elements of Subway and Chipotle creation with pizza instead of sammies and burritos. Add Pizza Studio to this list; Burbank’s newest pizza eatery. Pizza Studio is located across the street from Porto’s in Burbank, experiencing a high level of daily foot traffic. The interior is airy, bright, spacious and mimics other create-your-own pizza places; as they all have the urban loft look. Pizza Studio kicks it up a notch by incorporating a «Starving Artist» wall filled with art for sale from local artists. This gives Pizza Studio a café feel plus shows its respect for the surrounding community. The only issue with the restaurant dining area is that both times I have patroned the establishment I have noticed dirty tables, messy floors, an untidy fountain drink area, etc. Someone needs to clean up! In terms of food, Pizza Studio hovers around the typical protocol for create-your-own pizza. For $ 7.99, one can create an unlimited topping pizza on a regular, rosemary, fire(red pepper flake), or gluten-free crust. It should be noted that the gluten-free crust is an additional $ 2 and is usually free at other pizza joints. Choice of sauce includes red, BBQ, or pesto(no white sauce at Pizza Studio). While the toppings are standard and not as extensive and unique as the other similar restaurants; Pizza Studio does have some goodies like goat cheese, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, and sweet chicken sausage. Plus, Pizza Studio offers choices of the sprinkling of herbs or truffle salts or douses of such dressings like Balsamic. For those who prefer salads, Pizza Studio also offers a create-your-own salad. The pizzas are baked quickly(faster than many of the other pizza places) but sadly both pizzas on separate visits cooled much too quickly. If you can’t eat the pizza in the first couple minutes than it will instantly be colder than preferred. Other than that though, the actual pizza and flavors are rather delicious(much better than Blaze but not as good as the king, Pizza Rev). I created an all-veggie pizza with no cheese and it was like an elegant veggie tart while my boyfriend’s red sauce variety with goat cheese, mozzarella, and sweet chicken sausage topped with balsamic wow’ed both him and his mother. How is service? Half-and-half. On both visits, there were standout staff members who instantly welcomed me, explained the concept of the eatery, and were all smiles while others were nonchalant and were barely meeting the line of expected service. Basically, the service is inconsistent but there are some stars. Overall, Pizza Studio is not the tip-top(Pizza Rev still holds that honor) but it is not terrible either; making it a solid middle choice if craving a pizza your-way for $ 8. So go ahead, take part in the create-your-own pizza trend. This is LA, after all.
