I really wanted to like this place since it was just 5 minutes from my house! The sign says blow dry bar but they have no one who knows how to blow dry! I tried 2 different ladies and both were horrible! Both times I had to go home and blow dry my hair again! It was the worst blow dry if my life! I will never go back and if I could give them 0 star I would!

I feel bad leaving a negative review considering it seems it’s a new salon attempting to build clientele, but I must. I never stray away from my usual hair dressers even for a blow dry, and I’ve concluded its for good reason. I decided to try this place out since the location was really convenient, and it was the worst blow dry of my life. If you would even call that a blow dry. The lady brushed my hair in 10 different directions while pointing a blow dry at it. Then flat ironed my hair. Mind you I asked her for a voluminous bouncy blow out. When she started I asked if she would not use conditioner as it makes my lay hair flat, and she insisted she does so it’s «healthy». I’m not sure if it was her first time ever «blow drying» hair … But you don’t stick someone’s hair flat to their scalp when they ask for volume. I guess I basically walked in to get my hair flat ironed and fried. Which I could have easily done at home. I get blow dries weekly because I hate blow drying my own hair but this was genuinely a waste. I had anxiety the entire time sitting on that chair and I couldn’t wait till it was over. Agonizing. Then she blamed not blow drying my baby hairs because my «extensions would melt off»… But my extensions are metal beads with no glue so I’m not sure which part she was attempting not to melt? Then she smacked a hand full of serum all over making it flat and oily. Not only waste of time and money but waste of my patience and sanity… I came home and washed my hair and blow dried it again by myself. My dirty hair would have looked better with a bit of dry shampoo. I will share a photo of what the condition of my hair was when I got home. My bangs were dried stubborn flat to my face and I couldn’t correct it without washing my hair and frying it again a second time.

Nice staff, but Unknowledgable when it comes to cuts. Ugliest haircut I’ve ever had!

The owner Emad is an incredible stylist. Creative, inventive and really cares about every style he creates. I think he is the best in LA and I would no longer get my hair cut anywhere else. Can’t recommend Emad or this place enough if your thinking of trying a new style this is the man to go and see.
