Love this place. Been my favorite bar for 7 years. Thursdays at the best with trivia and karaōke, Reggie is my favorite DJ. So jovial and friendly! Seymour is great as well. Funny and fabulous! Such a nice little spot. Oh and there’s $ 3 happy hour margaritas! Which are my fav!

I have been going to Sardo’s, every Tuesday, for over 15 years. The noon time jazz band and stiff drinks keep me coming back. Love this place!

Let’s start with the call i made to make the reservation. This women named Angela, very rude. Would not inform me about the amount of the cancellation/no show charge. Pretty much acted like there was no time to answer my questions and i just needed to give her my card information and hang up. Let’s now go to last night. The food. I ordered a pasta. It was practically water pasta. No flavor and very wet. Most of the drinks we had tasted really strange. French Fries where soggy. We sent most of the food back. Not to mention, they gave us both glass plates and paper plates; all with Plastic forks. One More thing. The karaōke was fun from the audience. But behind the mic, you couldn’t hear anything you sang. [The two stars are for the friendly waitresses.]

People are nice. Bar is fine. But the food. Oh my gosh, literally the WORST food we’ve ever tasted. The pasta seriously tasted like a dirty kitchen sink. Not that I’ve tasted one, but I’ve smelt one and can assume this pasta is what it would taste like. The burger was inedible. I lucked out and had the chicken fingers which were cooked maybe an hour in the fryer — but they were edible. The drinks were fun so I’ll give them that. But I can’t warn you enough — do NOT order food if you want a decent night. Of course we still laugh about it because we are still shocked at how bad it was, but we’ll never return. And if we do — we’re eating beforehand.

No good place. Food is not good I got a turkey burger that was dray and really disgusting, I gave the burger back to them to change for another thing and they said that I will still be charge for the ugly burger. I also got a spaghetti no good at all. My wife got a filly sandwich and she said it was good. The sound system is good but the microphones lack potency and the voice come out not good. The system to participate as a singer is really frustrated. So in general is not a good place.

We came here last night for the first time not realizing that Tuesday was Porn Star Karaōke night. Fun times! We had no issues like I’m seeing some other reviewers complain about. We got here super late(close to midnight), had no problems with the bouncer/security guy, and even got a seat right by the karaōke area. It’s a small place, though, so I imagine peak times make it hard to find a seat. Service was fast and the waitress was friendly. Our rum/coke and vodka/tonic drinks were roughly $ 7 or so each — but don’t quote me on that — and they were on the small side. Our friends ordered some appetizers and I had one of the onion rings which was REALLY good. The karaōke ladies were porn stars and were really nice and welcoming to all singers. The other singers/guests in the bar were also nice. It was a good variety of karaōke, but they didn’t have the Florida Georgia Line song I wanted to attempt to sing, so boo to that. Really cool, laid back environment. We will definitely be back. Oh, and did I mention Ron Jeremy stopped by?!

My girl friend and I wanted to spilt an order of four sliders since neither of us were very hungry. I ordered a beer and my girl friend wanted ice water. We were informed their was two item requirement. «Per person?» I asked. «Yes,» I was told. «But we’re not that hungry,» I said. The waitress said, «I’m sorry but that’s our policy. She could order two bottles of water and you have the sliders and beer.» I inquired«How much are the bottles of water?» «Four dollars» At that point we got up and went next door to a more accommodating Italian restaurant. Needless to say I will not be going back to Sardo’s anytime soon.

A co worker and myself had been hearing about this porn star karaōke and thought we should check It out. We walked into the small bar and the place was packed. There was maybe a couple of porn star girls(who were pretty cute) sitting in a separate section. We attempted to grab a drink and hang out when the rear security guard was a complete asshole ! From us trying to get a drink to where to sit we were treated very poorly. The guy seriously lacked people skills and has no business dealing with the public. We felt completely unwanted in this establishment and left after one drink. I guess if you’re willing to put up with being treated poorly then this is the place for you ! Needless to say we won’t be back.

Great sound system for karaōke unfortunately weekends can be a very drunk crowd, so be fore-warned great staff, great music selection. I have met some very nice patrons here.

This is a tiny restaurant/bar. Famous mostly for the Porn Star Karaōke Tursday Night, which is enjoyable, but I hope they can have bigger names there, such as Lexi Belle or Abigaile Johnson. Things there aren’t expensive at all, but you have to order at least two things before you leave. The waitresses are good-looking, the drinks are great, but the security guards need to be less scary. They seem like they are cold-blooded. I like this place, and I love karaōke. Hopefully they can have songs from different countries too. This is basically my new Tuesday nights location from now on.

Our first time setting foot in this Place and I was VERY disappointed. First of all if you go to sing karaōke… you WANT to get a chance to sing and you HOPE the system sounds decent. Their sound system is TERRIBLE! You can hardly HEAR the folks when they are on the mic. Second… the KJ plays the FAVORITES game. I wanted to give her all the songs we wanted to sing… then we were told we could only put in one song at a time. That would have been fine… but we watched her call up people again and again that had already sung. Not cool. I even dropped her a tip she didn’t deserve… I never got to sing. The place isn’t a horrible place but the other problem was the service. Our waitress forgot about us. I waited 30 mins after telling her I was ready for another beer. then she FINALLY comes to our table and asks if we are okay. LOL. I was like did you… forget you were supposed to bring us drinks that quick? They suck! I have been to MANY places with far better system… they CARE about what they are doing. No personality! My advice… PASS!

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. Seymore and Sardos are part of the LA culture as much as the Hollywood sign. A NYC feel to this dive bar that serves cheap drinks and decent food for the $. Between triva nights karaōke(porn star karaōke, that’s right you read that correctly) Sardos is always a good choice. PSK is legendary in Burbank and if signing your favorite tunes with naughty girls and boys who make dirty movies be here on Tuesdays. Tell Nicki Hunter Big John sent you

So apparently you have to pay to sing Karakoe?! The DJ let people who gave her money sing before the people who waited honestly sing before them. I was here 2 hours and saw people sing before me and I arrived and put a song in after I did perform before me. She should wait tables for tips cause this is soooo rude!!! I’d never come here again

I honestly went in here with the intentions of having a good night. The night I came in I was with my boyfriend,(I also invited other friends, since the owner told me he needed girls to bring in more business.) The owner gave me a free drink coupon at a recent interview… and he told me he would personally buy me a drink in addition to that one! …if I came in for karaōke ASAP of course… That night, we hung out for a few hours, engaged in karaōke, spent money on drinks(besides the one he already gave me), and struggled to order from the crappy bartender, … At the end of the night I closed out and, in the nicest way, asked the owner if he would still take care of that other drink he promised us? I mean, the guy knew I was in there a night before, literally applying for a job… then after offering me two free drinks, on him personally, he only decides to pay for one??? Wow. His reason was: «Once it’s already rang in we can’t go back.» …Are you kidding me right now? You’re telling me there’s no «void» key? Yea. Right. I’ve bartended before, there is always a way to void a transaction. A little bit of advice… If the bartenders/waitresses smiled, introduced themselves, and checked up on people just a little bit more, this business would be doing better than it is right now. Also, misleading customers with falsely promised drinks might lead to bigger problems later Maybe a different interview approach would help as well? Don’t tell the waitresses not to drink, and then ask and give them coupons to come get drunk at your bar the very next day! I apologize, but even my girlfriend who worked there as a comedian told me to be careful because the owner is a «creep.» Careful girls.

Bar tendress was gud and sharp. However karaokay girl was out of line refusing a young lady named Rachel for personal reason, which is akin to treason. Otherwise the place has gud energy. Maybe we will come again some day.

I’m a local living walking distance and have come to this bar for years, the KJ on Friday nights is the absolute worst. I remembered her shady actions in the past but gave her more chances. After tonight there will be no more chances, you’ve lost a local, I won’t be coming here ever again! I was on a date, my date put his song and mine at the same time, and have her a tip, I sang several songs after he did. He went up for his second song, and I waited and waited, I had put in my second song long ago, then he gets called up for a third! Yes he tipped every time he was tipping for the both of us! ANDHISTIPSSHOULDN’T BEBRIBES! There was a guy complaining to the KJ before I got up there and gave a piece of my mind and she literally told him«yeaah, not many people tipping tonight» pointing to her bowl filled with money(of various dollar amounts). There are plenty of other KJ’s that don’t whore themselves out. Stay away from this place, on Fridays especially!

A quintessential LA industry area dive bar! Once was an old person’s lounge, now it’s rife with winos in the day, hipsters at night, and rumor has it they do something called Porn Star Karaōke ??? I’ve had the burger before, pretty good. Presently I’m enjoying a $ 3 Happy Hour Margarita!!! Huzzah!!!

This place is terrible. It really is. The service is the worst I’ve experienced in Los Angeles(that should tell you a lot). Our server came ONCE in an hour and a half, and then when we wanted the check, demanded a two drink minimum. We told her she never came for a second round and she said, «It’s not my fault that we’re busy.» They literally forced us to buy another round by not giving us our credit cards that they take from you immediately upon sitting, even though we all had bought drinks and food. I got incredibly sick after eating the pizza that night when I got home. My first one star review. Well deserved, Sardo’s.

If you like trivia and dont care about taking an hour to get a beer, literally, than this is the place for you. Also, there is a two drink minimum so that makes it hard to do when you never see your server. Trivia is fun though.

First off good karaōke music but highly disappointed on the way that they present their $ 10 or two drink minimum as they will call it”. I normally do my research before all of my friends coming out to a event and no where on the website I seen that there was a $ 10 or two drink minimum if there one somewhere on the website is not on the main page more visible and not mixed up with all of the other information. And the waitresses were very pushy and rude it as well … I felt that it should have been stated on the website before I invited all my friends to come out. you never know someone’s financial status and $ 10 maybe nothing for someone or it can make a situation awkward for someone that might not have it. that is where I had the issue. Put it on the website or don’t promoted

Staff was excellent from owner to bouncers. Arrived at 8:45pm on a Tuesday. Good, tame crowd of a motorcycle club, 7 porn stars, regulars, and a couple of Hollywood crowd. Good time, very safe. At 10pm no seats were left and nowhere to comfortably stand. Food is good and drinks were not overpriced. A bottle of Miller Lite:$ 4.

This is a nice little restaurant with daily karaōke. The place gets packed on certain days but is usually not busy. The song selection is good and available on their website. The karaōke DJs are pretty good and usually sing if it’s slow. The sound system is not the best but good enough to sound decent. The food is so so.

Went on a wed night. Karaōke is great! But… Beer is served in plastic cups and does not stay cold. The cocktails are weak, started with a well tequila+pineapple… tasted like nothing. 2Nd drink was patron + pineapple… still tasted like it was a kid’s drink. After that I gave up. If your a lightweight drinker this place is perfect, if you are a more seasoned drinker like myself… pregame it before coming here.

I go to Sardo’s pretty regularly for karaōke. I’ve also been to several birthday parties there and they’ll let you bring in a cake and decorations and such. They also have the entire restaurant sing happy birthday and the birthday guy or gal gets a free drink. :) The DJs are great, the waitresses are great. The karaōke is fun and they have a great selection of songs, lots of screens for the lyrics and a decent sound system. The place is a decent size too but it tends to be very loud so don’t arrive planning to converse. The drinks are pretty good(I love the Scooby Snack) and the food is alright. I do recommend making a reservation for a table if you’re planning to bring a larger group. All in all, it’s a fun night out!
