I had the Tofu salad. Very tasty and delicious! The tuna sushi and the albacore sushi was also very good and delicious, very good grade of sushi. I will be back. 70’s music playing in the background. Cool place

Was here a couple of days ago and I got a spicy tuna roll and Philadelphia roll. Mmmmmmmmmmmm! Was it so darn delicious. Not only was the food great, service was superb. I was greeted with smiles by the two ladies in front. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Burbank area. Not too expensive either, the price was just right.

My family has been going to this restaurant since the early 90s! I literally grew up eating their food! Everything they have is amazing, from the tempura, teriyaki chicken, ribs, and sushi! The staff is amazing, always so nice. The owners(husband and wife + friend) literally work there almost every day… I love their dedication and completely happy attitude. Food usually come within 5−10minutes. I get the chicken teriyaki plate with extra home salad(the salad dressing is amazing; it’s a «secret» blend). My favorite is the bean-sprouts. I prefer the chicken teriyaki to the beef, but both are great. They also have soups & bowls. I love the options, but I usually stick to the chicken teriyaki! Loyal customer since the 90s !!!

Emon is a great, solid place for good teriyaki bowls. I have been going here for years, and they are my go-to for Japanese fast food. Get your bowl with bean sprouts, yum! And everyone who works there is pleasant as well.

The curry is ALWAYSAMAZING! Food tastes super fresh and super yummy. The veggie soup is my go to feel better food when I’m under the weather. Ask for the chili powder if you like to add spice to your meal!!! Friendly staff. Always clean. Super busy during dinner time. But worth the wait. A well kept secret in Burbank for sure!

This place should have more stars. I’ve been coming here for about two years and everything on the menu is delicious. The place is clean, friendly staff, great prices and tasty food. It is easy to get a table but constantly busy, with people picking up to go orders or calling ahead to just come in and eat. If you are looking for great food and properly priced you’ve found your spot.

Unpretentious little family owned spot in a shopping center with fantastic homemade food. The soups are killer, the curry rice is amazing, the tempura and the rolls are good too. Just really good food at a fair price. We’re heading back over there in a few minutes, love it.

Best teriyaki sauce I’ve ever had! Very underrated restaurant! Even the sushi is great. Try the mixed noodle soup. It’s to die for.

I love Emon! My favorite dish is the Emon Noodle with Tofu. It comes with a side salad with the BESTTASTINGDRESSING I’ve ever had! Seriously good. The noodles are a huge portion and all for $ 10. Thanks for never disappointing, Emon :-)

Decent food. The tempura was better than the beef teriyaki. Nothing to write home about. Not exactly cheap either, given the low level of ambiance and customer service.

Been coming here for years, awesome curry noodles. Friendly service, family run, just don’t come in a hurry. They take the appropriate time in preparing their dishes.

I absolutely love Emon! I always get the beef udon noodle soup — it’s to die for! Always the perfect temperature, home made and delicious. My husband and I get take out once a week from here — good, fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Highly recommend if you’re in need of a less expensive dinner.

5 stars for the fresh delicious and exceptional customer service! My fav was the yellowtail cut roll, but all of the rolls were absolutely delightful! We are thinking of ordering sushi take out this weekend!

Emon is pretty good for a neighborhood restaurant. I lived nearby so I’d go there pretty often. I like that it feels like a family business. It has a cool quality that you don’t get from other establishments around it. I usually get the Emon combo and it’s huge. The portion is tremendous and it is also really delicious. It’s a little expensive for what it is but you can’t get too mad at it. The service is good, not great. The atmosphere is okay, I guess. I usually took the food to go. If you live near here, it’s a good deal. If I’m in the neighborhood again, I’ll return.

Just on the lunch box alone I give it 5 stars! They made sushi with brown rice and the teriyaki was delish. Everything you crave is in the box. I popped in just after 4pm and they still honored lunch. They even convinced me to sit for a moment and eat. He said it would come out quick and boy did it! Can’t wait to go back. Satisfied and my mouth is still watering. #GoodStuff

Stopped in after shopping at the other stores in the same strip mall. Got a sushi roll to go for dinner. They are pretty popular, plenty of people in the place. I got a rainbow roll to take home. It was quickly and freshly prepared and very good.

I am a BIG fan of Emon. Been coming here for 20 years since I was a little boy who lived right around the corner in Toluca Lake. I’ve stuck to one item every single time I have come, and that is the EMONCOMBO. That is all you need to order at this place. Comes with teriyaki chicken, beef, rice, salad, and 2 large shrimp tempuras. Its a staple in the community and a testament to how they have stayed in business for so long. Amazing, amazing food here.

I really enjoy being able to drive around town on a daily basis and run into my old time favorite Japanese sushi, teriyaki and sushi spots. I had just about every dish here, but my usual order is the tofu noodle soup, curry rice dishes or shrimp tempura bento box combo. The staff, who I think are the owners, are very friendly and the place is clean. Don’t expect fancy. Good for to-go or a quick lunch/meal at affordable prices. I always come back when I’m in the neighborhood and don’t think twice before coming.

It’s ok Japanese fast food. Came here to try the spicy tuna don, like many have reviewed well. But it’s over my lunch budget at $ 11.95. So I opted for the spicy tuna roll and chicken teriyaki bowl instead. The bowl was not great for me. It had way too much teriyaki sauce, so it seemed too salty for me. Then the chicken tasted like it was fried or cooked in the same pan as fish. It had a fishy taste. I would be a little forgiving since Japanese food is synonymous with fish, but chicken should taste like chicken. The spicy tuna was ok. I don’t think the raves on Unilocal were done by real sushi eaters. I must be missing something? I’ve eaten here before and had udon. I shall stick to that.
