I had a really awesome time here, but I am docking stars due to the overcrowded small outdoor rink. The ice was melting, and there were too many people with these giant seal sleighs. I felt that there was too many out there, and there were times I’ve had to avoid a collision. The prices are definitely affordable, and we did get a lot of rink time. I would recommend coming in less crowder day. Also parking next to the rink is a pain so I highly recommend parking in the parking garage across the rink. It was definitely a great experience.

$ 14 to skate and rent shoes with no time limit wasn’t bad. It was so crowded (3:30pm-4:30pm on Saturday night) that it made it less fun. The staff were friendly and patient. It would have been nice to have trashcans or someone cleaning up because people left their trash everywhere. I appreciated having to sign a waiver and they offered my daughter a helmet.

Nice place to go with the family over the holidays. One problem was that they had iPads outside to esign a waiver of rights. Those things were so slow and annoying. Besides that all was well. They maintain the ice well and its a great environment for kids.

I had so much fun. Staff was friendly and the lady in the rink was so nice.
They offered a «bobby» a small seal sleigh. since I brought my 5yo daughter it came in handy. She was able to use that as a balance/​crutch.
Had a great time for 1.5hrs.
I didn’t use their lockers I left our shoes and jackets under the bench.

I had a really great time at the rink with my boyfriend. The rink is open all day, opposed to the Pickwick skating rink that only has two hour sessions at 2 – 4 and 8 – 10 (boo.) The price is fair ($ 14) and the workers are very friendly. The day we went, the rink was slightly watered down because of the rain earlier that day. An employee asked if this bothered us before we bought our tickets. Many people were still skating and enjoying themselves, so we still bought our tickets. My favorite thing about this place were the skating animals/​buddies that can help you skate if you aren’t the most experienced, also, for parents, you can put your kids on them and push them around the rink while skating. There is music, beautiful Christmas decorations. It is a great atmosphere for people of all ages.

We had a really fun time at the Rink! With holiday music playing in the background, it was a very festive thing to do to celebrate the season.
There are a lot of amateur skaters here, so be prepared to see (and avoid) lots of people falling on the ice. They make you sign a waiver before entering, and it’s pretty clear why.
The skates that they rent are the same for men and women — hockey style skates.
They have a «buddy» for $ 4 per rental which is like training wheels for ice skating — a «walker» shaped like a seal for kids to push around and help them stay balanced. It can also be used to sit on and be pushed around. It’s meant for kids, but that didn’t stop us from getting on it and pushing each other around!
It’s not a huge rink, but larger than the one at Pershing Square and it does the trick.
We got free parking in the lot across the street, and there are porta pottys in front.

My sons 1, and new to the whole walking thing. So ice skating was obviously the next step.
He saw the ice and got so excited that he made a run for it while I was putting my skates on. Literally, as he was in the air about to fall in the ice, one of the guys working there caught him mid air. It was crazy. Shows what a bad mom I am, but also what attentive attendants they have!
We had a blast. The kids loved it we loved it. It’s nice to be able to take the babies too.
The only tip I would give is that the ice wasn’t too smooth and the blades on the skate were a bit dull.
But once we got used to it, it was awesome.

Second time here and plan to make this a tradition. My kids are 6 and 9 and absolutely love this place. $ 13 for admission and skates for 1.5 hours. Awesome deal! Trust me after an hour, the kids will be pooped! I recommend getting a «Bobby» (the little seal thing) for beginners. My kids think they are pros with this in hand. Lol.
The place is also great for adults. I would totally go here for a quick skate without the kids.
Be sure to check times before coming. They have specific session times to begin and end, so make sure to check before arriving!

My kids had a blast tonight. Great price of $ 13 per skater which includes skates and 1.5hr of skating. Also rented a «seal» to help my 8 year old. A little pricey at 6 bucks but by the end of the night my daughter was more confident on the ice and the seal doubled up as a seat. Parking is free and it wasn’t packed at all. Will definitely come again before it’s gone (Jan 19). It is still quite festive at night with all the lights on.
