Starting going to The Wax Studio in May when I moved back to LA for my brazilians. Waxes are never fun but Connie had excellent Unilocal reviews. I am happy to contribute to them :) She is easy to book with through text! It also helps that she accepts cards and you can tip with it!!! She’s super nice and keeps convo going throughout! Glad I found her!

I was nervous to get a Brazilian for the first time, but Connie does an amazing job and always makes me feel so comfortable. Also, a wax doesn’t hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would, and it makes my skin so much softer! I’ll never go back to shaving!
Connie is truly the best. Once, I switched my appointment to two different times the day of. I confused her, and when I showed up, she had already left for the day. Once she realized her mistake, she called me, apologizing profusely. I wasn’t mad, because I knew it was mostly my fault since I was the one who had switched the times on her. Since then, she has given me a discount every time I come in. I truly appreciate her commitment to her customers. She’s a prime example of someone who excels at customer service. I hope my love and respect for her is apparent!

Connie does great work as a waxer. I’ve been getting waxed for years and she does as good of job as any. Her schedule is flexible and her hours are very accommodating. She has a great location in Burbank and the parking situation is not hard at all. There are also lots of other little shops and things to do in the area so you can make the most of your trip to that area if you aren’t from Burbank. I like how she is very technology savvy. You can set appointments and communicate with her via text, she takes various forms of payment and you can add tip through the electronic system so you don’t have to worry about having cash or extra cash on you at the time. The studio is very nice and neat, and she makes you feel very at-​ease and very comfortable.

The absolute best person to go to if it’s your first time having a Brazilian done. Connie talks you through the whole process and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.

I was able to schedule an appointment here with Connie last week. She had a wonderful personality, was really easy to talk to, and she did a great job. The wax job hardly hurt at all. I think her price is fair for the quality and speed with which she gets the job done. Be warned, she books up fairly quickly — I went ahead and scheduled my follow-​up appointment while I was there. Scheduling with her was really easy via text.

I wish I could give 10 stars. As all reviews have mentioned, book an appointment with CONNIE. I absolutely LOVE HER. I have been to so many different wax studios and she is the best!
1. The store is slightly hidden; however, once you step inside it is such a cute place. You immediately feel comfortable and welcomed.
2. CONNIE: she is so sweet. And she’s unbelievably thorough. When I went to see her, I got my eyebrows, upper lip/​chin, and Brazilian wax. She’s so good. It didn’t hurt at al!!! Additionally, she’s amazing at her job. I have already booked my next appointment with her.
3. I love how technologically savvy she is. She messages you to confirm your appointment, then she reminds you a few days of your appointment AND let’s you know when she’s on her way to your appointment. I LOVE THAT!
4. Pricing — I think it is really reasonable! I have gone to places that cost $ 10-​$ 13 for eyebrows but they do such a shitty job!!! So, I’m willing to pay a little more for eyebrows for a good job. Also, lip/​chin is only $ 10, and Brazilian is $ 49. All REALLY a great prices!

LOVE this woman! Not being one that always plans ahead, especially when it comes to waxing… Was desperate for a wax, had a spa day planned the following day; after reading the Unilocal reviews I called. Connie made me a same day appointment; and she is professional, fun, and fast.
As one of the others reviewers commented she is professional and keeps to her schedule — really, really appreciate that your time is your time, and you aren’t left cooling your heels, stressing about how late you are going to be to your next appointment.

Can’t thank Connie enough for making my first waxing since coming back to the states so painless and quick. Extra points because it’s so close to the house.

Connie is GREAT! Not only does she know her waxes and the nature of hair re-​growth, but she’s personable and energetic.
But what I loved the most was that she kept to the scheduled appointment time. My appointment was for 6pm and she greeted me at EXACTLY 6pm. I didn’t get bumped for a walk-​in — and I appreciate that!

Traveling fairly frequently I was never able to find a great wax appt in FL OR! in NY! I probably went to three waxing ladies in LA until I was referred to Connie through a friend. I was desperately in search of great service. Without hesitation and with an immediate answer, she told me Connie was THEE ABSOLUTE BEST. I was apprehensive because I’ve had so many shitty people who were more robotic than human! Customer Service and product knowledge is key!!! I’d rather feel confident in spending my hard earned money to establishments and people who are PROFESSIONALS! Anyway! … My friend swore by Connie’s work and assured that Id be satisfied. She was right!!!

Connie is seriously the best I have ever found. I went to a ton of places all over LA looking for someone who could work with my eyebrows. They are very thin and shaped very odd so it takes skill to make them look like nice normal eyebrows. Connie works magic on me, and in a super fast time.
She is the best for brazilians too. Super fast and barely any irritation or ingrown hairs.
And on top of it she is such a blast. Almost want to go there just to hang out with her!
